Dear Yelp, We were in the area super excited to go to Cups as we hadn't been in a while. We walked in and the place was filthy. It looked like only one person was working which probably made it difficult to clean up. Every machine has a sign on it that says "no fingers". I've been to Cups several times with the Godchildren for takeout. Cups is the perfect place to take the nephew and niece for a special treat. We usually go and have fun picking & pouring our own yogurt and toppings which is half the fun. The yogurt selection is more than enough with fat free and sugar free options. There are so many options for toppings and sauces. With the wide variety of options, it could get dangerous if you don't keep an eye on the kids because that weight piles on very quickly and it will cost you at the end of the line. The atmosphere is welcoming and fun. Everyone is smiling and employees are nice. There are a couple tables inside and outside for takeout. The strip also has benches up and down the sidewalk with music coming out of rock speakers sitting in the landscaping. It is my go to place to sit and talk with the kids and just enjoy their company while eating our selections. I gave them 4 stars because I would like to see more cleaning with all the traffic coming in and out. Maybe some disinfecting wipes at the beginning of the cup line to wipe all the knobs that everyone is touching. I will definitely return for more Cups and smiles! read more

I always enjoy going to Cups! The experience went very smooth and they made sure to keep the place sanitary. They provided hand sanitizer and gloves. They enforce using both upon entering. Hmm I'm settling for 3 stars when really I'm feeling a 2.5. Food wise, everything was fine, fro yo and toppings were stocked and all of the necessities were there. What lacked was any type of customer service. Employees were literally sitting behind the counter on their phones when we walked and and pretty much stayed there until we needed to pay. I had a smooth experience at Cups. Once I entered they made me sanitize my hands and put on gloves before getting my frozen yogurt. I like that they're keeping things sanitary. There was a lot of frozen yogurt and topping options and all the machines were working. I added vanilla as the yogurt flavor and Cheesecake Bites, Salted Caramel Drizzle, and Cinnamon sticks as toppings. The employees were very friendly. Overall I like that I was able to go in and out. However, being away from college made me crave this every time, and I was finally reunited. I got the two frozen yogurts: mango tart swirl and piña colada with Sour Patch Kids. Cups has a huge assortment of flavors and toppings to choose from. Some are tangy and sweet, while others are more sour and creamy. Before COVID-19, each customer picks their cup size and proceeds to the frozen yogurt station to select their flavors. In the end, you select your favorite toppings, which vary from chocolates to brownies to fresh fruits and chocolate syrup. Today, I wanted something light and refreshing. Sour Patch Kids are my favorite candy as I love anything sour. A must visit, and I will be returning here every month. read more

I have visited this small shop several times and each time I've come away pleased with the taste and choices of their offerings. The dizzying array of flavors is only matched and perhaps out done by all of the toppings that meet you at the register. This last visit, we had "custard" - we guessed correctly that this actually was ice cream, not yogurt. It's not bad but no where near as good as my gold standard for soft serve - Ridgefield Ice Cream shop on Danbury Rd, Ridgefield, CT. Serving yourself means that, given the generous cup size they offer, you have the temptation to over fill and then get a mild shock when the weight translates to price. However, with experience, I guess you could figure out what's a good amount and learn to temper yourself. Based on teh taste and price, I would normally rate this a solid 4 star shop but when I walked in, my nose was assaulted with a very unpleasant smell - a mix of stale floor mop and backed up plumbing (you can guess which fixture). If I was by myself, I would have turned around and left the odor was so bad. However, I was meeting a friend there and he was already making his selection so I toughed it out. I hope they figure out what was making the smell and fix it. If it's there next time, I'm leaving immediately. read more

Very nice I went in while I was in that little strip mall shopping for clothes I wasn't able to use the track in dollar off coupon because the cup of yogurt that I got was not five dollars it was about 350 but other than that they had a plethora of flavors They almost even gave me the dollar off coupon regardless the girls were very nice here in the place was immaculately clean I didn't see any marshmallow topping but I ended up getting hazelnut with chocolate covered pretzels I wasn't crazy about the chocolate hazelnut yogurt but I'm not sure if it was chocolate hazelnut or just hazelnut I didn't finish the entire thing read more

What's up with all the sub par reviews? The fro-yo here is so good! I've been here quite a few times and never had a complaint. They usually have at least 10 flavors on tap with something for everyone. They have plenty of toppings available and they are always kept neat and tidy, which is a must when you're at a place like this (where it' practically set up buffet-style). My favorites are definitely the cherry, cake batter, and dulce de leche. They sometimes don't have them all available at the same time, but I've always had at least one available every time I've been there. The shop isn't huge, but there's just enough seating for a few people or families to enjoy a cup of love. I love their choice of decor... bright, fun, and trendy. Not exactly sure what people are expecting from a self-serve yogurt shop, but the employees seem fine. I mean, my only interaction has only ever been at check-out, and to be honest, I wouldn't expect anything else lol. read more

They are located in the plaza where Zinburger is at so their is parking, but on the weekend parking can be hard to get. Been coming to cups for years now !! Really good frozen yogurt and many options for toppings. They do not change their flavors as often as other froyo places, so I usually end up getting the same thing each visit. Most of the flavor changes are seasonal. Some of my favorites include dreamcake, pistachio, tiramisu, and the classic euro tart. But all of their flavors are delicious, some of the fruity ones can be super tart! Prices are comparable to other shops in the area as well. The line moves quickly and the staff has always been pleasant. There's plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. read more

Self serve frozen yogurt is a great concept and this place does a good job of it. There has been a trend of these type of yogurt places, where you pay by weight. There is a wide variety of yogurt choices here, including some personal favorites of mine, pecan praline, dulce de leche, apple pie, and peanut butter. I tend to try not to overload the toppings, but I love getting cheesecake and cookie bites. Overall, the yogurt is very good and I would definitely recommend that you come here since there are so many flavors to choose from, but only at a certain time. Why only 3 stars? Well, that is a reason why I do not go here that often. Many people name this place "club cups" due to the loud music and younger crowd it caters (high school, college). I normally do not mind this, but this place is very popular, which can cause the line to be very long at night and even at times after school is finished. The line can extend to the LA Fitness building, which is pretty far and due to the establishing being small, you may have to wait a while just to get into the store, and then wait to get the opportunity of choosing your yogurt. At times, there will even be a police officer to watch over the line. If there was less of a line, I would definitely consider coming here for desert after eating dinner at the places around here, such as Zinburger and Joe's Crab Shack. I would recommend that they try to fit another register or 2 in the front, so once the line grows, they can open the registers to help expedite the line. This will cause business there to increase even more, and offset the cost of getting these registers. But yes, I do understand there is only so much table space you can have. Try to be creative with it or make the table longer. When this place is quieter, it definitely deserves a visit. Come here after lunch and you can relax in the place, as the decor inside is not bad. Just avoid peak-time and the lines. And if you do frequent this establishment, make sure you get the card they offer to stamp every time you buy yogurt. One of the best self-serve frozen yogurt shops in the NJ/NYC area. Great flavors, large selection, tons of toppings. Seasonal toppings! I loved the Valentine's Day candy in February. My favorite right now is a combination of raspberry, strawberry, and vanilla froyo, with TONS of toppings. My friends & family always get more froyo and less toppings, but I always leave room to pile on the Butterfinger crumbles, fruit, and chocolate chips. They all give me looks, but I know they're just jealous. I was going to give Cups 3 stars, because while I love the froyo, I can really do without the crowds (on weekends & Friday nights) or the music (too loud to sit and eat inside!). But ... What bumped them up from 3 stars to 4 is their customer service. Besides the attentive staff in the store, they are *always* holding fun promotions and contests! It's one of my favorite places to go to, mainly on summer nights. Sometimes it's really busy, other times it's completely empty. Staff is usually nice. Sometimes some of the machines run out of a flavor and they don't refill it. When they change flavors (ever season?) I or someone I was with has walked out empty handed since it wasn't really with worth not having our preferred flavor(s). (LOVE ALL THE TOPPINGS THOUGH!) Also sometimes the machines are dirty, mainly when it's busy which is understandable. Wish the place was a bit bigger too.
