Best facility/apparatus, most clean, best location, parking, viewing spots for parents, and instructors, who really seem to care about teaching the kids. There aren't long waits to use the apparatus during classes like we've experienced at other gyms. The kids rarely stay idle. The front desk staff is friendly and tries their best to be accommodating with regards to getting you into the class time you're looking for. We've only been there a couple months but looking forward to seeing our daughter really grow in the sport!

But more importantly, the owner and her staff are fantastic. They are so nice to my 3 year old son. They are patient and kind and I trust them 100% to take care of my son. They have a ton of classes on their schedule to accommodate families with even the busiest schedules. For little ones like my toddler, the lessons are more about gross motor, balance and coordination skills rather than actual gymnastics moves though they do actually sprinkle in some actual gymnastics stances even for the little guys. They also have two free play times each week that any member can attend so that the kids can get exercise more than just on their class day. During the winter months I worry about my son getting enough exercise, so this is a real plus in my eyes. Tumble Fun also hosts birthday parties and sometimes have "kids nights out" where they take care of the kids in the evening, let them play in the gym and give them treats to eat. Oh, and they have a bouncy house INSIDE the gym! I think that's totally cool. :) So to summarize, this gym rocks! Sign your kids up for the next session. You won't regret it.

They have plenty of equipment available, including: tumble track, rod floor panel, trampoline, foam pit, uneven bars, multiple balance beams, and more. Open gym cost is $15/person on Wednesdays 9-10pm (18 y/o+, participants younger than 18 must be accompanied w/ parent) I have taken a class here before many, many years ago and remember that I learned my back layout here! I got the skill the same day, in one private lesson session. As for open gyms, I typically attend a couple times a year... before, I used to go every Wednesday night. It's always a great time; the staff is friendly & super welcoming. I highly recommend MSGA for anyone looking to take gymnastics classes or simply to utilize their open gym ;) **plenty of parking available.

We've tried 4 different local gymnastics places for our daughter (due to moves and convenience of…read moreclass times) and this is #2 of 4 on our list :) Obviously, as most people know, this gym has awesome and committed instructors with deep roots in the sport (my husband took classes here when he was a kid) who truly have an interest in teaching your child, but the whole "waiting list" thing because they're so busy (we waited for almost 2 years to get a spot), insane parking situation (wintertime is a nightmare), and cramped viewing space for parents is just unbearable. If you're ok with dropping your kid off or taking a lesson on a non-busy day (if there is such a thing), this place is great. Otherwise, I recommend heading 1 or 2 towns over and finding a gym with just as good instruction with less headaches.

My 4-year old son has been attending classes at Planet Gymnastics for almost a year now and he…read moreloves it! It never ceases to amaze me how different and creative every class is. There are courses built out all over the gym for the kids and they're different every week. They get especially creative around the holidays. They move around the gym to different stations with creative obstacle courses, like climbing along the rungs of a ladder and trying not to fall through the cracks into the swamp with the alligators or hopping over the witches hats on the balance beam! All this really keeps the kids engaged. The teachers are very patient as the little kids aren't usually following all of the directions and they keep the environment fun. Even when my son gets scared of new things, the instructors give the kids the space and support they need to get them motivated to participate. On top of making the classes super fun for the kids, Planet Gymnastics goes above and beyond and recognizes each kid periodically throughout the year with medals, giving them a sense of accomplishment and something to physically bring home for all of their hard work.

I have a toddler and can't imagine 3 more toddlers never mind the 20 we had, plus parents, in my home! This was a great place to have a party as it allowed kids play time in the gym. They provided us with postcards to mail out as invites which was great. I had follow up calls and emails from the staff to inquire about RSVP totals and theme. They provide white tablecloths, utensils and napkins but you can bring your own if you wish - I brought items for the kids (mermaid theme) and had them supply the plain stuff for the adults. Piezoni's offers a 20% discount if you have a party here and the gym provides Capri suns. I brought bottled waters in addition to the pizza, veggie platter, cheese and crackers, cookies and a donut cake. The two girls, Bella and Lauren, were fantastic. They were scurrying around everywhere and essentially handled the check in process for guests, the games in the gym (very hard to rally toddlers to listen!). They also put the room together as far as decorations and the pizza. Lastly, there's no pressure to open gifts, they put it all in a big garbage bag to take with you. I really thought 1.5 hours (first hour in play and last 30 to eat) would have been too short but it was just enough time.

Currently, her 18 yr old daughter is running the optional level (Level 6-10) practices even though she clearly does not have the maturity or coaching experience required to coach these levels. Furthermore, she is rude and dismissive to the Xcel gymnasts and it seems as if she intentionally seeks to destroy their confidence. When my daughter joined this gym, she joined with the understanding that she would be coached by a mature adult with decades of coaching experience. Regarding the classes for younger children, during one of our last days at this gym, I witnessed them place a young child in time-out in a back room, unsupervised. Apparently, they forgot about this child and she ended up falling asleep and was only found when her mother came to pick her up at the end of class. If you're looking for a gym that will provide a positive, structured, and professional environment, I strongly suggest you look elsewhere.
