I received a call from Stark Sanitary, which has been servicing my septic system for 25 years. I booked them to come out for an agreed price. I then started to receive texts from Ability Septic saying that they were on their way. I replied to the text and asked why it was Ability and not Stark, but received no reply. I called Stark, and they told me that they were bought out, and Stark and Ability were sister companies under some larger corporation. The use of "Stark's" good name was deceptive, in my opinion. Don't pretend to be one company, send a different one, and never reply to text messages. I cancelled the service but received the same old song and dance about being a family company and "we'd love to help you out". They even had one of their workers (a very nice person) call me and ask me to reconsider. Nope. Not a great way to start a relationship with a new/old customer. read more

They used to be a good company but was bought out by abili scheduled an appointment with done to come out they told me between 2 and 4 in the afternoon and I never heard from them until 6 o'clock saying they were all backed up and they would have to reschedule not a good way to do business read more

AMAZING! We have had a few companies come out and pump our tanks over the years and Sue was BY FAR the best! She took the time to educate us on our tanks and what to use and what not to use. She really took the extra time to wash the tanks and fully empty them (which other companies have not done in the past). Tayler was also extremely responsive, helpful, and professional. Not to mention their pumping prices are very reasonable! 100% would recommend and we will only use Stark from now on! read more

I had used them twice previously, even the person who used to own my home used them. We have septic tanks. While the technician was there he cut two of my sprinkler lines. As I previously used them they should know where my tanks are. I called 4X to try to resolve the issue with them and no response. I would not use them again. They claimed this never has happened before but I doubt that. read more

We could trust their work and suggestions after having issues with another discount septic service try to tell us we needed to completely redo our septic system. Everyone at Stark took their time to explain answers to your questions, and make sure your septic was in good shape. Definitely would recommend!!! read more

I can't even get a call back, and when I reached the guy on the other end of the phone, he seemed so scattered and disorganized, I asked him if he wanted to call me back tomorrow. I have uesd Stark sanitary for 30 + years now, the did in the past a great job, I have the tank cleaned out every year and have NEVER had a problem, i always look in the tank afterwards and it is ALWAYS spotless. I made the mistake one year of using Ability septic, I will NEVER use them again, they were too quick, messy, leaving particles behind ,and there was still feces, and toilet paper left in the tank, I was not pleased. I will NEVER do that again. I had the pleasure of meeting TJ today , he is a gentleman, very knowledgeable, and Very Professional. I used their service for a pump out. I thought their overall service was excellent. On time, even early, very nice guys and extremely knowledgeable about my tanks and directions for maintenance. Very helpful and nice people to work with. It is satisfying to do business with companies that take care of their customers. These days that seems to be getting harder to find in service companies, but Stark is not one of them. Not to mention, their rates are very fair and they also will do what they can to save you money and not just charge you for things you don't need. However, this time they never showed up on date promised, no call back, no calls returned as of an hour and a half past promised time. 11 - 4pm scheduled timeframe. It's now 5:30.
