    Very professional when letting you know when they're coming to the house showing up for the estimate then they fall short of being able to provide an estimate that is trustworthy and accurate. The estimate to change out of water meter was $1500 and some change I declined my friend came over and did it for $125 something wrong with your estimates run when you see Anderson Plumbing

    Starting with Melissa answering the phone, I was pleasantly surprised and appreciative of the customer service provided to me from start to finish. Melissa, our technician Joey, the design consultant Scott, and the install guys Jeremy and Jacob "had time for me." Each of them were relaxed, friendly, and patient. Not only did they answer my many questions, they encouraged me to ask them and made me feel like it was genuinely important that I felt informed and comfortable. They were not trying to jump in and answer the question as I was asking or rush to their next call. I make such a big deal out of that because, in this day and age, customer service is all but non-existent. Those at Andersen came across as good people and they are good at what they do. Below are details from my experiences with Andersen from the initial phone call to about two weeks post-install. Melissa was great. She was happy to answer my questions about the process and the service membership that Andersen offers. She set up a technician visit for me, and followed up within 30 minutes to let me know that Joey was on his way. That call could have a text, but it was a friendly follow-up phone call. Joey was polite and professional. He was patient with my questions and did not appear to mind me popping in to ask him questions, look at system performance measurements, and look at his video feed inside the furnace. I am aware of how irritating it is to have someone watch you work, and I appreciate that he walked me through the details of what he was seeing and what his recommendations were. On his way out, Joey told me he'd get the information back to the office and get Scott lined up for me. He did just that - within an hour I received a call from Scott, letting me know he was on his was over. I was impressed by how coordinated their operation is. Scott is good at what he does. Fundamentally, his role is to sell equipment, and he does it in a way that is understanding, informative, and not at all pushy. He acknowledges the fact that needing to buy a new furnace is not a position people are thrilled to be in and it's not going to be cheap. His job is to understand your needs: how is your current setup working for you, what functionality do you want, etc. He boiled things down to three options. We walked through each of those options, answering questions along the way, and made a decision on what I felt was really the only option for me. It was an easy sales process. I knew I was being sold a new furnace, but I felt informed, comfortable, and happy about the decision. At one point I apologized for the number of questions I had, and he said, "my job right now is to be here talking to you. Whenever we're done, I'll get to my next family." Our conversation wrapped up after 5:00 on a Friday, and he had the job set up for Monday morning. I had a couple questions about the proposal over the weekend, and was surprised to get almost immediate responses from Scott. I enjoyed getting to know him and cannot stress enough the accessible customer service provided by Andersen. Jeremy and Jacob showed up on Monday morning and it was more of the same in the best way possible: polite, professional, patient, regular guys. These two worked nonstop from the time they walked in. It was honestly fun talking to them, getting to know them, and seeing the project come together. Jeremy's attention to detail is excellent. He clearly takes pride in his work and does not cut corners. Questions I had were answered with what is in the manual, what is to code, his experience, etc. When it was time to test, a couple measurements weren't exactly right, and Jeremy made slight adjustments so it was perfect. I appreciated this dynamic duo. Both of them in and out of the house between the truck and basement, AC and furnace. Jacob made sure the details of the final invoice were exactly right, walked me through it, and made a note of what they will follow up on in the spring. They both offered probably three times to vacuum the basement and, at that point, I felt like they had done enough for us. Hope to see these guys in spring. Three things happened after install. First, got an email from Lennox saying the equipment had been registered. I didn't do a single thing, so I'm assuming someone took care of that for me. The 10-year parts and labor warranty on this furnace and AC were a big part of my comfort pulling the trigger on an expensive purchase. Second, I got a card in the mail from Andersen. A pre-printed card, yes, but with a couple hand-written sentences and a thank you at the top. Nice touch. Lastly, I was signed up for their annual service membership. Their 24/7 service is for their members only. I'm sure that's not a small number of people, but based on the customer service I have experienced thus far I feel confident that I will receive service quickly should I find myself in the unfortunate position of needing after hours help.

    I had an emergency situation and was in dire straits; my furnace failed in freezing temperatures…read more Neighborhood HVAC came to the rescue and saved the day!! They immediately evaluated my entire HVAC system and due to age and condition it was deemed it would be most beneficial to replace both the furnace and A/C unit along with my water heater; they were all 30 yrs old. The entire work crew was professional and courteous and completed the work in a timely manner. They also cleaned my entire duct system and clothes dryer venting and showed me before and after photos - WOW...what a difference!! I'm so thankful they were available to assist me, and they were more than honest and helpful in this unfortunate situation. Other HVAC contractors were quoting me quite a bit more for the same replacements without the duct and dryer vent cleaning. THANK YOU DALE AND YOUR ENTIRE WORK CREW FOR ALL YOUR HELP and I will definitely recommend you to family and friends. TWO THUMBS UP!!! :-) TH

He was very easy to communicate with via phone or email. And they were extremely prompt. With a crew of two, Dale and his partner removed both my old furnace and ac unit and replaced them both, all between the hours of 830 am and 3pm, even worked through lunch. I would definitely recommend their services to anyone.

    As a fellow small business owner, I feel obligated to warn others about our experience with this…read moreHVAC/R contractor. Over more than a decade of managing vendors, this has been hands down the most disappointing and unreliable company we've dealt with. We initially entrusted them with all our heating, cooling, and refrigeration needs. Unfortunately, what followed was poor communication, subpar service, and a complete lack of accountability. When issues came up--which happened frequently--they were more interested in deflecting blame than fixing the problems. Over a year, they raised our service rates by 25% without any notice or explanation, and when I reached out to ask about it, they never responded. I also requested several quotes that were never provided. As a busy business owner, I shouldn't have to chase down contractors just to give them our business. Even worse, they billed us for services that were clearly not performed. I verified this myself--twice--and one time had to bring in a third-party HVAC tech to confirm (with photo evidence) that a rooftop unit hadn't been serviced as claimed. Despite being presented with clear proof, they refused to acknowledge or resolve the issue. After nearly two months of delays and rescheduling for a correction that never happened, we finally hired another company to finish the job. Their refrigeration work was even more troubling. They miscalculated and mis-sized a walk-in freezer, resulting in a system we had to completely replace. They relied on bad measurements and passed critical sizing calculations to a supplier instead of doing it themselves. Even when I showed them accurate specs from the equipment manufacturer, they pushed back with excuses instead of taking responsibility. To make matters worse, they submitted a bid to replace our walk-in cooler and freezer with dimensions that were entirely off. Had we accepted the quote, the units would've physically not fit the space--basic measurement errors that would have led to a major installation failure. The most aggravating part of all this has been their tone: dismissive, defensive, and utterly lacking in professionalism. If you're considering this company, I urge you to think twice. When things go wrong--and they very well might--you'll be on your own. You deserve a vendor who respects your time, your business, and takes pride in getting it right.
