This company needs to have more than one person who can make and set up appointments with customers. Having to get a hold of Randy is nearly impossible and he must never get his messages. It shouldn't matter if the customer that you were contracted to help is not directly your customer or not. You are contracted to fulfill an obligation and how you proceed and act says volumes about you and your company. If I ever entertained the notion of switching my services from my current subscriber to A+ Security then that idea is completely and utterly shattered. I fully support local businesses and what they do for our economy, but I cannot support a local business that doesn't even look out for its local consumers. The receptionist stated they could not give me an official estimate since their estimators were 3 weeks out but would send me an estimate based on the information I provided right away. I called 3 times requesting this information prior to my appointment 29 Jan 2025 and didn't appear that the estimate would make it prior to my appointment. I stopped checking my email the day before since didn't think an estimate would be sent at this point. After talking to my wife the day of our appointment I called Raven Electric and she mentioned the estimate had been sent. Our time block was scheduled between 10:00 - 1:00 and asked if the technician would be able to finish during this time frame. The receptionist stated she could not guarantee the work could be finished. I let her know we were going to the airport later this afternoon and would probably need to reschedule. I understand time blocks but was just trying to see if she knew when the technician would arrive to complete the work prior to us leaving the house. Raven did send me an email yesterday that had a basic quote but at this point I stopped checking my email since I'd given up on getting the quote prior to our appointment. I did apologize for the late cancelation and asked to reschedule. She abruptly stated canceling just before your time slot is unacceptable and we'd need to find someone else to do business with. I've never encountered a business before that treats customers this way and throughout my interactions with the receptionist even from the beginning had been very terse at best. Afterwards I located other reviews that mentioned scheduling issues, technicians not showing up on time and appointments being lost. That tells me they expect the customer to be understanding with them but any issues on the client side is unacceptable. I definitely believe with this additional knowledge about their customer service issues I've dodged potential problems working with them in the future.
