So the sales technician, because they are both consultants of locks and keys, sought the brand of my topper and looked up the key code in their computer system. They found it ... it's 20 years old. YES! Okay so they tested the keys that would fit and after some trials and errors they got the right key to work. On my way I put my topper on Craigslist and sold the topper I no longer needed. Thanks guys! They got the knowledge and computer tech to figure you lock or key out!

Like monkeys with a football 3 of them couldn't program the fob. Then the excuses started that the receiver in the car was the problem. One thought it was funny that it didn't work. Maybe they are good at making metal keys but anything requiring tech...run.

Every single time I tried to fix them, I had to work with ADT support because their system requires you to go through them -- you can't just reset or fix things easily on your own. Today, because I was leaving town, I called ADT so I wouldn't have to leave my home unsecured. After almost two hours on the phone, the first technician could not reset the sensors. I then asked to speak to a supervisor, who also tried and failed to fix the issue. They escalated it to higher-tier technical support, and that didn't work either. I was told a senior technician would call me back. I waited all day for that call. When he finally called, I answered, but he did not respond and hung up. I then received a message saying he would call back. Over an hour later, he called again. I answered again -- and once again, there was no response and the call disconnected. After six weeks of repeated problems, hours on the phone, and no resolution, I still have malfunctioning sensors. For a company that sells "security and peace of mind," this experience has been the exact opposite. I would not recommend ADT based on this experience.
