I will break down my experience into three categories, the atmosphere, the actual tattoo, and the artist. The atmosphere: Calm music is playing and you have a high def TV right by your bed, mine was playing some sort of National Geographic documentary which made it easy to entertain myself rather than playing on my phone. There is an option to use a very nice headset (my tattoo required me to lay down so I did not get to try it out, unfortunately). Beyond that, the place is incredibly clean and also dim lit. Some of Ron's art was placed around the room, which ultimately made me wish even more that I had received an original from him (Next time!). Both he and his wife are incredibly nice, very customer service oriented and a breeze to work with. It is so unlike a typical tattoo shop because the primary focus is on your comfort and your piece. The tattoo: I contacted Inked to fix and fill in an older tattoo (although I would highly recommend getting an original from Ron) and upon my arrival, after seeing his work from my boyfriend's previous tattoos, I told him he could do whatever he thought would look best. The result was more beautiful and thought out than I ever could have imagined. Ron pulled about 10 colors off the shelf and probably made another 20-30 more colors simply by mixing those ones. Once I finally got up to see the finished product I was amazed and we instantly began talking about adding some original work to compliment and complete my piece. I was (still am) ecstatic and will provide updates for whenever we finish that up. The artist: Ron is both an amazing artist and a great guy. His ability to tattoo is unmatched to anything I have ever seen before. He has a light hand, some of the highest quality colors I've seen, and the machine he uses leaves the pain to what I consider minimal for a tattoo (mine was even on my ribs). Not to mention he will not simply put a piece of plastic with tape over your finished piece. He uses a special clear bandage (can't think of the name but trust me!) that stays on for 2 days allowing the tattoo to heal much better. He stays focused and present the entire time he's doing the work, if you need a break or just a cool off he will gladly get that done for you. Beyond that, he knows that larger pieces and in depth tattoos take time and he's happy to schedule a new appointment and work things out over time. He consults in a way that brings his expertise of tattooing to your wants/needs in a piece. If you have an idea that looks great on paper but he can see it won't translate well to a tattoo he will work with you (not against you AT ALL) to find a way to make it perfect. His mind and abilities set him far above any tattoo artist I have ever seen. So if you are looking for a new tattoo I highly highly HIGHLY recommend going to Inked. The appointment may be a month+ out but I promise you, the piece you will have on you forever will be something you will be proud of the rest of your life.

I've gone to him multiple times and will continue to return when I have more money to spend on fun things like tattoos instead of sad adult things like student loans and bills. I came to Glenn fresh 18 (on my 18th birthday actually) and got pierced there multiple times by his apprentice Hannah. From the day I turned 18 I told him about a tattoo I REALLY wanted but it was a very vague concept and I was worried about commitment. Three months before I turned 19 (and several piercings later) I decided to finally take the plunge. All I said was "I want a henna styled world map, in shades of brown." And Glenn like magic drew something better than I could have imagined. He was so nice to me and had no issue with my best friend holding my hand for the duration of the tattoo. I was in love with my tattoo and the experience. I've gotten a handful of other meaningful tattoos from him, but I semi-recently covered up some self harm scars on my thigh with a tattoo of the phrase "I felt like destroying something beautiful" (10 points if you can name that reference!) and the tattoo was healing in a way that I can't describe with words. Glenn told me that he wanted me to promise him I would never cut myself again (I was already three years clean at the time) and I did promise. Glenn is like a cool uncle, the kind that would buy you beer or something as long as you promised not to drive. (this is just an example plz don't go solicit him for booze lol I'm sure he wouldn't give it to you youngsters) Anyway, I love all of my tattoos from Glenn. Even my mom likes his work, so much in fact that she got a matching tattoo with me last year for Mother's Day.

She has done 2 tattoos on me so far including a couples tattoo with my wife. She is doing another 2 on me this weekend including a cover up piece. After that we will be designing a sleeve piece. The all women studio really makes you feel relaxed. The owner is always checking up on the clients to make sure they are comfortable. I can't say enough about the studio and especially Emma. I will not trust anyone right now except for Emma to do my ink.
