Our home looks fantastic and we have peace of mind that critters won't be getting under the house. Our back of the house water spicket wouldn't reach outside the skirting so we had to call our contractor to get that fixed. The 3 man crew were SUPER impressed with the entrance door to get under the house, all three had to try it out and they all gave the Thumbs Up on the skirting build and materials. Detail: We reviewed four companies in the Austin area for a fence extension and automated gate for security purposes. Absolute Fence & Gate were outstanding to work with: they came in cheaper than all other alternatives, were the most responsive with clear communication, and were very knowledgable about the options within our space. Amanda was extremely responsive and helped us scope out our initial ask to coordinate an onsite bid walk quickly and helped sort out billing. Travis helped develop our initial concept for a gate into an efficient, turn-key solution that would abide by local codes and fit within our budget. After clarifying our scope, the project was completed at a lightning pace. They staggered the required demo of our old fence until the day they'd be able to erect the fencing to minimize the amount of time our house was exposed to the street. The work crews were very professional and Travis and his team clearly explained the scope each day and progress updates. In addition, Cade and the gate operator crew were outstanding. They set up the motor and made sure all items were functional tested. They did a terrific job commissioning the equipment and explaining how to use it. The commissioning team also noted that our gate operator had a minor issue and contacted the manufacturer for a same-day under warranty solution. The level of service was outstanding, and I was very pleased to have a total turnkey solution. During the construction, Travis would check in with the teams and ensure quality work which resulted in zero punch items at final walk. Travis even performed a final QA check on the operator to make sure operation was up to their quality standard. Every team member was very knowledgeable and professional. They provided excellent advice and suggestions and helped us craft our gate idea into a solution with a terrific product!

Craig Jolicoeur was so responsive, thoughtful and meticulous that you'd think it was his own fence that was going up. He didn't waste my time like others did with endless and irrelevant questions. Long story short, 3 months later they still weren't done. I happened to walk my dog one afternoon and ran into RCR Squared doing some welding work for our HOA neighborhood mailboxes. I asked Reid if he would come give me an opinion on something that didn't make sense to me but I'm not a welder so what would I know. Reid was gracious enough to come take a look while his team continued working on the mailboxes. When Reid saw the stairs he was in shock and could not believe what he was seeing. He then filmed a 10 minute video pointing out all the things that were done incorrectly, not to code and that were extremely dangerous for me to send to my contractor. I had been waiting 3 months for these stairs and desperately needed to be able to get into the guest house, as we were going to be up there during the construction on my main house that was starting in 2 weeks (thank god I have a different contractor for my main house). Reid & Jason gave me a bid to demo and rebuild the stairs and said they could do it right away and get it done quickly. I told them as much as i wanted to hire them I was having another welder come look, just to get another opinion and would get back to them. A welder my main contractor knows and trusted and he confirmed everything Jason and Reid had told me but couldn't do the job for 3 months and that wasn't an option. So I called them back and hired them. Honestly, I think Reid and Jason took pity on me and squeezed in my project. They started the following Monday. They thought they could get the basic stairs built in 3 days (with no trim or paint) so we could get up there before July 4th holiday, but because they had to redo the lower section of the stairs that they originally thought they could keep, it didn't get done till the following week. They took off for the holiday weekend and were back early Tuesday morning. At the time the temperature drastically changed and got ridiculously hot and of course the stairs were in full sun. It was brutal but they came in everyday with a smile. The whole team was very friendly and hard working. By Friday they had the stairs done and primed so we were able to move stuff uptairs that we desperately need out of the main house over the weekend and they came back on Monday to finish the painting. RCR square was truly a godsend to me. If I hadn't have run into them that day, and Reid didn't take a few minutes to look at the stairs I would NEVER have known until someone got hurt, which could have been years down the line, just how dangerous these stairs were. The weight of the stairs also could have taken down my storage shed and garage because the proper supports were not put inside the wall when they redid the storage shed and landing. What a nightmare that could have been. The main things I want you to know from my experience with them are that they have a very experienced team, they show up when they say they will, and work as hard as they can to get your job completed on time. They can't control holidays and weather but they will work as hard as they can to get your job done correctly. They literally got my stairs done exactly when I needed them done. I would have been royally screwed without them. Can't not speak more highly of all of these men! Thank you Jason, Reid and all the guys. You all saved me and are truly the BEST!!! My pet peeve with most tradespeople here in Austin is that almost everyone leaves the job site a mess for me the owner and customer to clean up! The job is not done until everything is cleaned up! What makes him exceptional is the "extra" the clean up of welds and the worksite, everyone else is a hack. I don't know if Greg is the cheapest and honestly I don't care, what I care about is workmanship and not half assing it. Greg does the best work and I don't mind the price.
