I found an injured bird on my porch this morning and called a few local agencies to help me. None would do so - one even suggested they wouldn't come out until the bird had obvious signs of injury/fallen over. This particular bird looked healthy, but appeared to have a broken wing. I called SoCal Parrot and Sarah answered and quickly got to work on finding a volunteer who could help me in rescuing the bird. She walked me through the steps on how to get the bird in safe situation so it wouldn't be attacked by another animal. She was so kind, so sweet and so helpful! She was able to get in contact with Stacy who arrived ASAP and helped get the bird to the proper rescue to make sure the bird would be safe and rehabilitated. She too, was so kind, sweet and helpful. Just a top notch rescue all around who puts the birds first!
