Pretty disappointed with this spot. When first walking in, it seemed promising - it's super cute & trendy inside, and we were seated right away which was great. We ordered a couple of coffees which tasted like nothing special. I tried the Déjà vu, but it was as if no syrup was added - I had to ask for some on the side. Our food was alright. I got the benni which was more on the basic/bland side, and my boyfriend got the birria Benedict, which was actually not bad. Our waitress pretty much didn't tend to us at all throughout - we had to ask other staff for pretty much everything which they were super helpful with. The most nastiest thing was that the women's restroom had NO soap whatsoever. Not only is that disgusting for customers & hygiene concerns with staff, but also is against code. The bathroom itself was a let down too - looked super unprofessional and one stall out of the two was out of order. My friend invited me here for lunch and I had never tried this place before. She indicate that she enjoyed her time dining here and that she wanted me to also try it. Upon arrival, my friend was not there yet, a hostess greeted me and offered to seat me. I texted my friend to let her know that I was seated. The place is visually appealing. This was definitely a trendy and aesthetic brunch spot, but I felt like I was paying more for the atmosphere as opposed to good food. Starting with the positive, the interior was vibrant and I loved the shades of green on the wall. For the food, I ordered the smoked salmon benedict, which tasted pretty standard but came with pretty small portions, especially for the price. The pistachio latte was also disappointing, it tasted too artificial and syrupy to the point where I couldn't taste the espresso. There are zero fans and no air circulation (and a bunch of flies flying around our table when we first sat down). That being said, I'd imagine the other 10 months a year this is a solid 4 star experience. Made a reservation and were seated right away. During the week this spot really isn't super busy so it is easy to walk in and get a table. I love how bright and colorful it is inside. My mom went with the chilaquiles and I got the papacito bowl which has vegan chorizo and a vegan creama but I got it with real eggs because I am not vegan but the bowl itself sounded really good and it was a good amount of food I ended up taking some home to have for breakfast the next day. I've come here multiple times now, and it's become one of our go-to breakfast spots. Making reservations is always super easy, which I really appreciate. I always get the steak and eggs--they're so delicious and the steak is always juicy. Their coffees are all amazing too, and the Irish coffee is especially yummy. I also love that this spot is kid-friendly, has good music, and isn't overly loud, so it's still comfortable for families or a nice breakfast out. The staff is always very attentive and welcoming. My first time here was a year ago. I gave it another try recently and it's still 3 stars for me, maybe even 2.5 stars really. Food is overpriced but the atmosphere and aesthetics are great. The bacon was overdone. The chimichurri steak sandwich had a nice flavor but the meat was very chewy. On the menu it's listed as coming on ciabatta bread but it came on sourdough instead. I love sourdough so I didn't mind but would've rather ciabatta for this particular sandwich. The passionfruit margarita and michelada were good but nothing special. The winner of our meal was surprisingly the organic greens salad which we added shrimp to. It was delicious but came with only 6 shrimp (so $1 each) but the shrimp were big and cooked well. Customer service lacked. It took a long time for Sasha to bring us water and she forgot to bring us a sharing plate that she stated she would. We had to ask for water refills in the beginning. She never once checked on us, only to ask if we wanted more alcohol. When we paid the bill, she just took the payment machine, stared down at it, and walked away in silence (not even a fake 'thanks, have a nice day') or anything. I no longer really tip based on the % of the total bill anymore because I've realized customer service is the same no matter how much the bill is. I think she was unhappy with her tip but sorry, I'm not tipping well for below average service and food. read more

There were a couple people in the restaurant for brunch since it was almost noon. I looked over the menu and decided on the berry French toast with a side of bacon and 2 medium eggs. The bacon was some of the best bacon I've ever had. Super crispy and just good. They make their brioche in house and man was the French toast on point. Soft not eggy and yum. The vibe was great. Been to this location in the past before it changed to The Vibe and for this visit, my friend and I definitely came during a good day! We got seated right away and our server took care of us shortly after. My only complaint was that it gets stuffy inside when you're seated away from the door and the open windows, but maybe (and obviously) the heat contributed to that lol. That's no one fault for that either. As for our orders we got: - Birria Benedict (go do yourself a favor and get this) - Chilaquiles - Arnold Palmer - Orange juice (can't go wrong with that for a quick lil brunch meeting) Will I be back? One waitress was serving the entire restaurant so service was slow. Never had a water refill and by the time we were checked on we just asked for boxes so we could leave. I was hoping they would bring the check with the boxes or shortly after but no, we had to wait another 5-10 minutes for someone else to see us sitting there with boxes waiting for the check. Tried: Chilaquiles $12 + $5 to add Birria - this was decent Aloha coffee - good Pistachio cold brew - good Breakfast sandwich $12 - awful. This was the worst breakfast sandwich I've ever had. The smoked turkey was super dry, like crispy flakes. There was no seasoning on the eggs. It really needed an aioli of some kind. The potatoes were under cooked and slightly crunchy. I would have mentioned my dislike of the sandwich/asked for mayo/salt/pepper from the server however we were never checked on after receiving our food. I thought the food was pretty good/average for brunch. I thought it was pretty expensive but it's the decor tax. For your birthday, you get birthday pancakes for dessert, which I thought was a nice touch! Service was fine. Overall, average food but The Vibe was definitely a vibe. Cute aesthetics. When we got our food, we probably were checked on once until we had to pay our check. Before we left, we made a visit to the restroom, and here is why I am giving this place 3 stars. There are 2 stalls, and one was clogged and not flushing. The larger stall had their toilet paper on the railing. There were key marks on the mirror (which is not their fault) and the paper towel dispenser was open but the roll for the new roll of towels was on top. It was a stark contrast to the ambience that was in the main dining room. I don't know, but if you're going to charge minimum $20 for a plate, and decorate your spot to the nines, I think the bathroom should reflect the establishment. read more
