We ended up going to ATB Watersports in the Nk'mip RV park to reserve a time. We were greeted (if you can call it that) by a very rude, stuck up woman. She was snippy when she advised us that they were all gone and didn't provide a time when we could come back to try again. It was like she couldn't be bothered to help us.. brutal! After that, we went over to 3 Phase Adventures and rented some SUP boards for an hour and a half (for the price of an hour btw). WAY cheaper than renting a Seadoo and way more fun. If you're looking to try out SUP, give these cats a try. 3 Phase Adventures were so helpful and friendly. After our experience with 3 Phase, we are looking into purchasing two SUP's for back home in Calgary. Thanks Coreena, Jason and Molson (their dog)!

We had to pry information and couldn't even get pricing out of her... brutal! We tried ATB again the next day hoping to get someone else who could be of more assistance. We found there were more people there to 'help" but the original woman was there to. We asked the girl helping us if we could rent a Seadoo and the original woman barged in saying "no, they're all gone". Meanwhile, the girl helping us looked at the reservation board and there was one waiting in the harbour not being used at all. Reluctantly we said we'd take it for an hour. In filling out the form I asked the girl for the price... $75 + tax... expensive but fine. Then she said "oh ya, plus the cost of gas... minimum $20". So it was over $100 to rent the Seadoo for an hour... rip off (imho)!! Gave the clipboard back ripping up my form as I wasn't about to spend that kind of money with a company who was reluctant to give us the time of day. After that, we went over to 3 Phase Adventures and rented some SUP boards for an hour and a half (for the price of an hour btw). WAY cheaper and they were so helpful and friendly. Thanks Coreena and Jason! In my opinion, I would save your cash and use it with another company who's helpful and appreciates your business.

My kid and I wanted to go kayaking on our last day in Penticton, and this company opened at 9am…read more(all the others opened at 10am). We wanted to start early, as it gets hot out later in the morning, and very people-y, too. The earlier, the better. So by default, this is where we went. And we're so glad we did! Reserving the kayak online the night before was super easy. We paid a 50% deposit for an hour rental of a double kayak (it was in total $40 for the hour). We drove to the site and there was a paid parking lot there but, right beside it, there was free 2-hour parking right on the street after 9am. So duh, we parked on the street! The place opened at 9am sharp. The guy and gal who work here COULD NOT BE NICER. They were super organized. They asked if they should charge the remaining $20 to my credit card (sure!), gave us well-fitting life jackets, and brought us to our double kayak. I loved the kayak! My kid and I have kayaked before in Kelowna, and this kayak here was our favorite. It felt very stable in the water. It had backrests, and grooves for our feet inside. It was a very well-made kayak, for sure. And we had the BEST time! We paddled out far in the lake, which is crystal clear and stunning, and marveled at the surrounding mountains and gorgeous scenery. It was already getting hot out, so we were really pleased we came when we did and not later in the day. And the waters hardly had any other boaters at that time of morning, so it was perfect for us. Getting back to shore, the girl who works there came to assist us (well, me, specifically! As the "old lady", apparently I need assistance getting out of the boat on the rocky shore. lol. And I GLADLY took the help!). She was SO nice, and the whole experience was so fun, I highly recommend it! (Side note: I saw that this place also rents out single kayaks, pedal boats, sea-doos, and other boats. I would definitely come back to this company!).

The actual experience of parasailing was amazing. But the staff there (excluding a couple of nice…read moreladies at the stand) were very disorganized and acted like you were being a pain in the ass for asking questions. We had a ride planned at 3 o clock but we didn't get on the boat until probably around 3:45. I was okay with waiting, as long as I have nice staff members answering my questions and understanding my confusion.

The kids had never sailed before and the experience was amazing. They attended the class from 1 - 4pm daily (there is also a morning class) and by the end of the week, they sailed across the lake to Naramata and got ice cream and sailed back. They learned how to capsize the boat (the boy's favorite activity) and bonded with other kids on vacation as they sailed. They were responsible for pulling the boats out and equipping them and also taking them apart at the end and putting them away. The responsibility laid on them was great. The kids walked away with a huge sense of accomplishment. Students were in groups of 2-3 in each boat. Instructors were there, but did not sit in the boats with the kids. The students felt safe and learned a lot. I highly recommend this program to anyone with kids who will be in the area. The kids have a wonderful time and it's very reasonably priced. I was clearly safe and in good hands. Going up was the best part, the wind literally sweeps you off your feet. From the top it was a gorgeous view and a refreshing breeze. We decided not to dunk but on a hot hot day it would probably be welcomed. I highly recommend Eldorado parasail.
