Diego's paper work was hand written by Denise of Graceful Havanese. Needless to say he's still my best buddy and has had perfect health although his age is catching up to him. Also, I had something come up to where I need to text Shane and ask if I could move my delivery date out by 2 weeks and he was more than welcome to do that with me. Lastly, I live approx. 15 hours from the kennel and as a woman this was always going to be the scariest part of the entire process, as the ground transporter is a completely different person than who I talked to the entire time. Shane put the driver, himself, and I in a group chat where the driver kept us both updated from the start of his drive until his arrival. We met at in the Walmart parking lot to keep it public, I paid the boy the transportation fee, the girl that was riding with him handed me the dog, they snapped a picture for the kennel's Facebook page (which I already gave my prior consent to), and we parted way. Overall the service was AMAZING, every interaction was lovely, very quick replies, all documents/paperwork were given to me, and I gained a beautiful 4-legged best friend!! At some point in the future I want another rottie and White River Rottweilers is still in business, they will be my first pick! Every step of the process from navigating the website and getting on the waitlist to picking up our puppy and getting her home was smooth and professional. There were no surprises, loose strings, or hidden costs. Expectations regarding the waitlist time were realistic and response times are incredibly quick, respectful and friendly. WVP is clearly a reputable breeder with the health and wellness of their puppies and parents in mind. We only had one point of contact (Jason Yoder) throughout the entire adoption process which was nice because it took the chance for confusion or miscommunication out of the process. He checked-in (and still checks in) regularly and always responded within the same day (typically within minutes). Not only did Jason answer all of our questions but he also helped us decide on the puppy that was going to best suit our family's needs and lifestyle. We especially appreciated all of the photos, videos and the personality ranking system they use. Extra effort was also taken to help us navigate through the "preparing for puppy" prep work (puppy proofing the house and yard, setting up vet appointments and training, ordering food and supplies, etc.) in order to ensure a smooth transition when we brought "Harriet" home. We received a generous swag bag full of goodies and necessities (the blanket with her mom and littermates' scent has been incredibly valuable) to help with the transition as well. Once we got Harriet home, it was obvious that WVP put in a bunch of work getting her socialized and weaned prior to the 8-week mark when we picked her up. She has been easy to crate train (we are going into week 3 and she has not had one accident in her crate - she's even sleeping through most of the night!). Our new puppy is sweet and playful with our young daughters as well as any other person who will give her attention. We've had complete strangers come up to us to say how adorable and well-tempered she is and ask where we got her. Our Harriet is an adorable tiny F1B bernedoodle with a well-balanced temperament of curiosity and calm and she's so smart with the training. Even tho I stated I do not want to use the newer vaccines id like to go traditional to be as safe as possible. They claimed they would give an exemption for all others but he has to have rabies due to state law so because of that I wanted to go with a traditional. I called ahead of time to make sure they could do that. They told me they could and it would be a 3 year. I get here and they tell me they just are not gonna order that and not that they cant they just will not. Was already mad when he walked out before even talking to us? I was calm and said that I had talked to someone on the phone who told me he would have the traditional 3 year vaccine he claimed he was to young for a 3 year and that he could only do a 1 but he wont order a year traditional for him. Why was I not told this on the phone? I specifically called to make sure so I didnt waste my time driving here and once getting here absolutely did not deserve the way we were treated or spoken to. Absolutely do not recommend.​​​
