We had such a wonderful experience with Starline for both our welcome party and wedding day shuttles. Hollie was fantastic to work with--she was so kind, responsive, and communicative throughout the entire planning process, which made everything stress-free. The shuttles arrived on time both evenings, and everything ran seamlessly. It was such a relief to know our guests were in good hands and could get to and from the events safely and comfortably. Used their bus service for transportation from college back home for a holiday break. Driver made a wrong turn resulting in a 2 hour late arrival. Freezing AC was blasting the whole trip, it's November and already cold enough. At one point the driver raised the radio as loud as it could get, even through full blast headphones the radio was loud and clear. Driver turned inside lights on full. Overhead compartments started opening on their own while in motion. We eventually made it but other busses broke down. If you look on their page under commitment, they provide the opposite of what they list. Unfortunately, we will be looking for any alternative transportation besides this company. read more

Frank Sandlie has been my morning driver from eastgate to Seattle for the past several weeks. He is a great driver, on time, and cares about his passnagers. I would give Frank 10 stars. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. It's telling there are no decent reviews of this company in 4+ years. We had booked Starline to transport our wedding guests from our hotel to our wedding venue for our wedding in July 2022. They never showed and we had to scramble to transport 100 guests, which caused all events to be pushed back. We had prepaid and they refunded us the money at that time, with barely an apology or acknowledgment of their terrible service. Fast forward to today (October 2023) when Starline sent an email stating I owed the money and would be sent to collections. Talk about wasting my time. Please use any other business that has better reviews, which number many in the Seattle area. read more

MY HORRIBLE STARLINE EXPERIENCE 1. I travel with a folding bicycle. This a bicycle that folds up into a suitcase-sized package. These are increasingly common, and can be quite expensive (mine was $2,000+). I pay a premium to travel by Amtrak because I can take my bike on board and not worry about damage. 2. Our Amtrak 516 train to Vancouver BC on Friday 5/24 was overbooked, resulting in passengers (myself included) being redirected onto a Starline coach. 3. Starline's coach driver refused to allow me to place my folded folding bike along with the luggage, where it would have stayed stable. Instead, he required me to put it into a compartment meant for bicycles. This compartment offered no bungie cords or ways of keeping the folding bicycle from being damaged. I had to lean it on the side (which it is not designed for). The driver expressed zero willingness to understand why this was not appropriate for a folding bicycle, and refused to engage with me. He also indicated that there was no management I could escalate to, because he does not work for Amtrak. 4. What should have been a comfortable ride, was extremely stressful, as I was worried the whole time about my folding bicycle getting wrecked along the way (not unreasonably). 5. When I went to photograph the car's ID tag (for the purpose of recording it if needed for filing a complaint), the driver became a bit belligerent and insisted I didn't have a right to photograph your company's vehicle without his permission. To be clear, this is even not a legally appropriate demand by your driver - I was in a public space outdoors, and have every legal right to photograph objects in an outdoor space. (Certainly, Starline had no transport agreement with me in which I gave up my right to photography, either.) 6. I consider myself lucky that there was no material damage from this preventable mishandling. Instead, there was "only" paint damage that will cost an hour of my time to fix with touch-up paint that I now need to purchase. The driver, instead, could have let me to take the clean folded bike into the bus (there were many extra seats and it would have easily fit in the leg rooms), or allowed me to leave it with luggage. However, because he adopted a "this is not my problem" attitude, the customer experience was awful. read more

Racist Driver! Today, I had really bad experience in the Starline shuttle service with Crystal mountain. We booked 4:30pm bus, but get on line for 4 pm. The bus driver told us to get back the line, if there would be seats, they will let us on. So we got back the line at -5C. Then, the bus driver, a 60ish white lady started to let all people behind us in the eating line to get on bus and left us in the cold without a word. She individually picked each person to get on bus. All these ppl have 4:30pm reservations. And it happens that they are all white male. Then, we are the only 4 Asians left in the cold. This lady wouldn't let me talk at all and was really rude to all of us. Is that because that we are Asians. Is this racist for no reasons? I am so disappointed on crystal mountain's choice on shuttle service. I love this mountain, but such such horrible experience today. So rude! So angry! So unfair! read more

We used this company for our tour group of 30 people. It was our fist time working with them and We could not be more satisfied with the service provided. They were always on time and reliable. The bus was clean , the air conditioning worked and the driver was friendly and a safe driver. They even send someone from the office to help us at the airport. Our group was having trouble to find the bus as the airport was under renovation and we contacted them explaining the whole situation and they said "ok, we will send someone to help them find the bus"! That was unbelievable, especially nowadays! Cathy Young was the angel who helped us! She was amazing! I've used Starline Luxury Coaches several times as the person in charge of logistics at my organization. The last two times I experienced a serious decline in service. I will not recommend or use them again. Their communication is sorely lacking and when they do communicate it is less than professional. Last time we used them the bus driver was a no show - then they made excuses and instead of fixing the charges right away I had to circle back to make them do what was right. Months later I get emails "by accident" from them that should have gone to another person. Their customer service has gone horribly wrong. If you are booking for professional purposes I recommend you look elsewhere. read more

Starline, please teach your drivers about basic road safety. Today, a Starline bus parked and blocked a lane at the top of a bridge in my neighborhood to let passengers get out and walk around. This forced myself and other drivers to cross a double yellow line to pass around the bus. Oncoming traffic in the other direction (coming at us) is coming up, going around a curve and often travels at 40 mph or faster. In order to pull over and let tourists see a viewpoint, a Starline driver blocked a key arterial and put many drivers at risk of a head-on collision. read more

We had a great experience going up to Crystal Mountain yesterday, from Seattle. Our group of 14 rented a 23-person coach for the day, and everything went very smoothly! The ladies I worked with to set up were friendly, professional and prompt with all responses. Our driver Charles was very helpful and sweet. I would recommend Starline and would use them again without hesitation. read more

We used Starline for our wedding transportation in September. The buses were clean and comfortable, and the drivers were consummate professional. It was great! They had the best prices after comparing with 4 other transportation companies. Initially, their booking software gave us a weird quote because it didn't include the entire time we asked for despite the times being right on the contract. They honored the price we had. Eventually, we had to up the time and change the bus schedule anyway and they were still the the best option we could find. The first person we worked with, was difficult to communicate with due to one reason or another. But eventually she was replaced by Tracy Riggins. Tracy was awesome. She was quick to respond, attentive to our desires, and made sure that our contract was squared away so there would be no questions about what bus should be where on the day of our wedding. They picked us up the wedding party from our hotel in downtown Seattle, drove us to the church by UW, and then to the reception in Ballard. We had 2 more buses pick all the other guests at the hotel a little later, and then transported everyone to the reception. We then had a couple buses do a few trips at the end of the night to make sure everyone got back safe and sound. Everything went off without a hitch no one involved in the wedding had to be directive with any of the bus drivers, they all knew exactly what was going on. They'd get five stars if we were working with Tracy the whole time! I'd recommend working with Starline for private event transportation to anyone! read more

In two days, this company transported over 700 out-of-town visitors who attended our conference to 20 different destinations throughout the state. Most of the destinations were clustered into groups of three, meaning that each coach carried people to three different locations before returning to its starting point. Itineraries were pre-arranged and tickets were pre-paid. So timeliness of arrival and departure were very important. Starline performed absolutely, utterly flawlessly through every phase of this project. Their bids were lower and more comprehensive than their competitors. Their sales personnel served as our partners through the months of preparation, suggesting and fine-tuning all the while. Their coaches were unfailingly on time and spotless. Their drivers were not only professional in appearance and demeanor, they immediately conveyed that they were on our team and committed to our success. As a volunteer coordinator of all this, as well as for the meal arrangements for 8 destinations, I had lots of anxiety about whether we could pull off a great experience for so many people in so little time. I needn't have worried a second about Starline. They were sheer perfection from start to end. read more

I have taken a chartered bus to Leavenworth at least two other times in much worse weather than my latest trip and have never had an issue. I don't know who drove us the other two times, but Starline is who drove us yesterday. We left Parkland at a little after 7am and did not arrive in Leavenworth until about 4:15pm. NINE HOURS! We spent many hours just parked on the side of the road for various reasons. Our tire chains broke twice I believe and we had to wait for someone to come and fix them. This company also has a rule that if another Starline bus is on the side of the road by itself, a passing Starline bus must sit there with it. We had to wait behind other stranded buses at least three times, for what reason, I don't know. There was an accident on our rout, but that didn't delay us all that long and the weather was fine until we got to Leavenworth. By the time we actually got there the tree lighting ceremony was about to begin and we had only about two hours we were able to spend in town before we had to leave. That's barely enough time to do much more than eat. I never would have signed up for this trip if I knew we'd be on a nine hour bus ride which should be maybe four hours max. I will say, the trip home was about five hours, but there was none of this waiting by the side of the road for hours on end, except for the time spent putting on/taking off chains. Considering the weather (it was snowing hard) I don't think it took much longer to get home than it probably should have. All in all, if I had any other choice besides using Starline to go anywhere, I would choose the other option. This includes driving my own car myself. read more
