I have outlined the key situations below: Thursday, May 22, 2025 - Cellulitis Diagnosis and Treatment: On this day, my brother Andrew and I noticed that our mother was not feeling like herself. Andrew observed that her legs felt like they were on fire. I immediately informed Dr. King, who briefly examined her and diagnosed cellulitis, but did not provide any further details or explanation. Later that day, another provider confirmed the same diagnosis and began antibiotics, but there was no improvement by the following day. I then requested more aggressive treatment. The provider suggested starting ceftriaxone, but it took over two hours for this to be administered. After that, we saw significant improvement by the next day. (pictures attached) Friday, May 23, 2025 - Bathroom Assistance: While visiting Ruth, she needed assistance to use the bathroom. Winston, who came to help, initially assisted Ruth onto the toilet, but then left to tend to another patient. He was gone for so long that Ruth became distressed and started to cry. Despite pulling the emergency cord, no one came to assist her. Fortunately, another nurse eventually arrived to help, but this delay caused unnecessary distress to my mother. Request for Air Mattress: On Thursday, May 22, 2025, I requested an air mattress for my mother. I followed up on Friday and again on Saturday. Unfortunately, the mattress was not brought to her until late Sunday afternoon, which was an unacceptable delay given her condition. (picture attached) Bathroom Assistance and Nurse Interaction: On another occasion, a nurse assisted me in bringing my mother to the bathroom. However, once we arrived, Ruth was too fatigued to use the toilet. The nurse then left to attend to another patient. I was left to manage the situation, but when I tried to assist my mother in getting back onto the toilet, a different nurse entered and raised her voice at me. (the nurse was white and on the hefty side) She insisted that Ruth be returned to her wheelchair and put back to bed, even though I had already nearly helped Ruth onto the toilet. Sunday, May 25, 2025 - Fall Incident: On this date, Ruth fell and sustained injuries. The images of her injuries are attached for your reference. This incident is of particular concern, and I believe it warrants further investigation into the circumstances surrounding her fall. I am reaching out with the hope that these situations will be thoroughly reviewed and addressed. The care my mother received did not meet the standards I expect from a healthcare facility, and I would appreciate any steps that can be taken to ensure better care in the future.

No one likes to get blood drawn but it helps to deal with friendly, capable phlebotomists rather than one who gets annoyed that you're not "popping your elbow" - whatever that means. Maybe she was just having a bad day. Guess I'll find out in the future since this is one of the few nearby Starling labs covered by my insurance.

I was at pain management the other day, standing at the window and was a few minutes late because the medical transportation guy took the wrong exit. The doctor refused to see me but promised to call in a prescription to last me until august. They marked me as a no show and never called the script in. 10 days later, no script, I'm in a pain flair and some guy who doesn't know what he's doing accuses me of lying when he was the one lying and I caught him in a lie. The starling pcp was horrible with my special needs daughter. I don't know where these people come from. But my impression is quite low.

There's also a Quest in the same building, which makes it very convenient for when you have lab work to get done, following a doctor's appointment. The staff is very courteous and professional - I haven't had any major issues with billing, insurance coverage, setting up convenient appointment, etc. I've seen the same friendly faces throughout the past years; that goes to show you how they all get along so well and turnover is very low at that location - They all seem to really love what they do.

They make sure she stays active, by doing activities like bingo and having movies on Sunday. They were even able to take her to the Big E. I am really thankful that there are people out there that can take care of my mom. I know I could not and appreciate those that have the ability and patience. Its a huge relief to me.

She is caring, compassionate and absolutely willing to help in any way she can to get you through the process of sitting there hooked up to a machine with a needle in your arm. She always has a smile on her face and you can tell that she is genuine in the way she cares about the patients. I was very grateful to find IVX Health in Glastonbury. I had gone for years to Starling Infusion and it was a nightmare. They were disorganized and they didn't care they had placed the IV in my hand it was impinging the bones between my knuckles and I could not use my hand. when I told them it was hurting me they were nasty and said do you want me to remove it? I said of course not when they finally removed it she had stuck it in between the bones of my knuckles and it had left a divot. I had been in pain from 8:30 until 4:30 The nurse at Starling tried to rub my hand to get the divot out of it before I could take a picture of it.. So you can imagine the relief I felt when I found IVX health in Glastonbury and was lucky enough to have such a phenomenal nurse as Samantha assigned to take care of me. Let's face it, getting an infusion isn't the way I'd like to spend my day but IVX health in Glastonbury not only makes it tolerable they make it an experience that you don't have to be fearful of being ignored or treated terribly. You go there and are respected and given top-notch care. I would highly recommend them for any of the infusions or other medical care they offer.

I have been waiting for my provider to send…read moreover my inhaler for four days I called the office on Friday morning to have someone call me back do to all my symptoms I was having never received a call and it looks like no one report it to the nurse no documentation was done in my chart the girl that took my info did not ask what was my symptoms or how long I was sick for all she said was ok I will let them know and hung up. I called back Monday because I still did not received a call back nor any medication was sent over I had to go to the urgent care to be seen. I have many years of experience working in the medical field and what they did is completely unacceptable leaving an asthmatic person without an inhaler.
