Since the demise of my long-time go-to Dale Cleaners on NW Blvd., this place has picked up the slack. Dated facility and small parking lot in an older storefront complex, this place does good work. Friendly staff, and decent turnaround times make this a good choice. Also, it's a pay on pick up as opposed to pay up front. Have not had that in a long time. Coupons are not as plentiful as Swan or Dale, but the pricing is competitive. read more

I recently tried out this dry cleaner because my office moved nearby, and I had a disappointing experience. I was overcharged on an order that I explicitly asked the attendant to process as laundry, not dry cleaning. These were just Kohl's shirts, nothing high-end. When I picked up my order and tried to explain the situation, I was met with attitude. There are much better dry cleaners in town, and I will continue going to the one on Bethel that has provided great service for years, even though it is no longer convenient to my office. Also, I am not an American, but at least I speak English. The attendant here did not. Also, when the attendant tried to contact the owner for his support on my issue, the owner said he was too busy to help. Incompetency at its finest. Over just $30, they lost my service for good. I've been to better dry cleaners in the last month in El Salvador and also in Guatemala. Ludicrous at best. Still no resolution. I want a full refund. read more

I feel compelled to warn any potential customers of this establishment's staggering ineptitude. The service was almost hilariously bad. They failed to even slightly reduce the visibility of several stains (I later got them out after watching a YouTube video). They also left a note on an item which read, "Worked on it for 30 min. Didn't finish." I thought it was a joke, but sadly it was not. And this was after the THIRD time I came in, due to their false notifications (plural) that my clothes were ready. I would only recommend this place to aspiring small business owners who want to learn how not to run a business. read more

Don't come here if you need your clothes back by a certain date! Dropped off 7 items on Saturday and was told they'd be ready the following Wednesday. There weren't any stains, etc. that I noticed when I dropped them off. Came in Thursday morning before work to pick up the clothes. Three of the items were ready; the rest were still at the plant because one of the items had a spot (I don't recall a spot when I dropped that item off). Was told they'd be ready the following day. I asked why the other items without a spot weren't ready and was told that the clothes that were brought in stay together. That seemed odd since three of the items were ready. Was told they'd be ready the following day (Friday). Went in Saturday morning and was told they still weren't in and they were still working on getting the spot out. I asked when they'd be in and was told they didn't know! I am starting a new job on Monday so I asked if they'd be in by Sunday, but they're not open on Sunday. They said they could call the plant and let me know when they're ready, and I could pick them up from the plant if they're ready this weekend. No idea when I'll get my clothes. read more

We used this dry cleaner as it is very convenient to our home but they have ruined so many pieces of clothing and now an expensive comforter has been ruined. This company takes no accountability for ruining items (shirts come back with burn marks and holes in the, which are obviously from their dry cleaning machines). Using Starlite Cleaners has been not only the worst dry cleaning experience I have ever had, but it ranks with the few absolute disaster customer experiences I've had in my life in general. I went to Starlite Cleaners out of convenience due to their location in the Grandview area, and I was initially impressed by the friendliness of their daytime cashier. On several separate occasions over the last year, they have damaged clothing which I have brought to have dry cleaned. On two specific occasions, multiple buttons have been broken on both the sleeves and front of expensive suit jackets I have brought to have dry cleaned. On the most recent occasion, the owners (which can be met early in the morning around store opening, if you're curious) refused to refund even the rush surcharge (something on the order of 1-2 dollars) which I requested because I had to take time off of work to bring the damaged jacket back and pick it up later that day in order to catch a flight. Citing "policy" and actually telling me they "didn't care about [my] business", they refused to make things right from a monetary standpoint. While I would have preferred to go elsewhere at that point, I had no choice but to leave my jacket there for new buttons to be sewed on in the hours before my flight out of Columbus. Sure enough, after a few hours, new buttons were sewn to the jacket, but were non-matching and were not aligned correctly along the sleeve. Mistakes happen surely, sometimes even twice, but usually good businesses will try to make a decent attempt to make things right. I am not hard to please, and either a partial refund or a correctly repaired jacket would have been good enough to appease me. Please think carefully before taking anything of value to this establishment. read more

I brought a long red wool vintage coat into Starlite for cleaning that had been my mom's. With the weather and holiday, I didn't pick it up until today, which was the anniversary of her death. Honestly, I was a little nervous about getting it back. They did such a great job! It was absolutely perfect. I never imagined it could look this good. I would definitely trust them again. read more

DO NOT GO HERE! First of all, they ruined my dress. Then they took it upon themselves to the same style of dress in a different color, which was their "fix". I tried to bring this dress to Macy's to exchange the color, but unfortunately I was unable to do so. When I asked to be reimbursed for the dress, I was only offered a portion of what the dress actually costed because they told me "the dress was 2 years old and depreciated", when it was actually only several months old. The whole process took about two months despite several messages that I left on their machine. Not only were they inefficient and untimely, they were VERY rude and acted as if the problem were mine to solve. Very unprofessional. read more

Starlite has been cleaning my shirts weekly for the last year. Twice, they have called me after drop off to point out where small repairs were needed before they could wash and iron the shirts. They charged $8 for the small repair, which was fine with me given the convenience vs. having to pick up the shirt and have it done elsewhere. They have done our dry cleaning, too, and I haven't had any issues. The day time help is quite friendly. But, the younger dude I interacted with once was not talkative and seemed either in a big hurry or a little annoyed. read more

This is the best dry cleaning service I have ever experienced. I have been going here for 2 years now and every time I have gone they have offered the best of service. They are always on time, quick, and can accommodate for any situation. An example of this would be today, at 1130am I got blood on my shirt and realized my suit jacket was wrinkled. I had a 430pm meeting that I needed the suit and shirt for. I took the clothes to them at 1145am and they rushed the order to make sure I had what I needed by 4pm. They ran a whole dry cleaning cycle specifically for my clothes. It was the best service I have received bar none in the dry cleaning industry. I would recommend them to anyone needing dry cleaning. Their prices are very reasonable and the service beyond exceptional. I honestly cannot say enough about how happy I am that I found them because of the service they provide. I will be referring my colleagues here and will continue to be a regular customer even when I move to Dublin. read more
