The offerings are very similar to the Starlite in McDonough and it's a good quality experience for the price. My children had lots of fun both skating and climbing in the jungle gym. I appreciated that the other customers were so friendly. The older children were looking out for the younger ones, despite being strangers. We scheduled a trip to this facility 0n 7/16/2026 for our summer campers. We go to this rink every summer and sometimes twice per week. We had scheduled a trip this summer 2weeks in advance and was turned away, because they said our school was not scheduled. Our kids were very disappointed. The skating rink manager was not very apologetic about it at all and did not seem concerned. However, I did speak to the assistant general manager ( Tia) but nothing was resolved. Music was dope but surely for the newer generation. There was mild profanity in the music so if your against this type of music. Beware. Food was priced decently. And fresh... The rink floor rules are not so strict but everyone was very polite and careful of those who lacked skill. The building was clean. Play and arcade area was well equipped. Very nice facility! I was invited to a birthday party and I must say if I could go back to my childhood this place would be amazing!! I enjoyed the glow up theme and my kids really enjoyed themselves. Parking is very convenient since the skating rink is on its own lot. I didn't skate but my daughter did. My son hung out in their arcade area. My only downside was the music was extremely loud and an issue with using cash in their establishment. Pizza was ok and the party room was nice. I went today with my 6 year old(who never skated a day in his life). I had a great time. They offer "skate trainers" for $5 an hour. That can be a little expensive if you have a newbie. I purchased a rental locker so I wouldnt have to keep looking back at my things. Which it doesnt seem like that type of crowd. The locker was 10$ and you received 5$ back after you turn in the key. Which made the total for the locker 5$. I did not try the food. It didnt look interesting. The drink are kind of expensive. 3$ for a bottle drink. 2.50$ for a kiddie drink. 3$ for a medium. And they didnt come with refills. They have a play area for kids and the admission is for them to have on a wrist bracelet. Overall, I had a great experience. I will return, very soon. read more

Went to my little cousin birthday party. Brought my girls ages 2 and 3 there. They had a blast playing in the play area and the games which they received free tokens for the party. The only issue was trying to skate with them turned to be a disaster. Only because one adult with 2 small kids using a help roller piece was frustrating. The biggest size skates in kids was an 8. Starlight family fun center on N. Henry bld is unorganized. The manager Judy is very rude and no respect for the Black kids. My daughter lost her gift card and she told my daughter she had five minutes to find it and that she was banned forever out of the rink. I'm trying to find a corporate number because when I called up there to the rink the manager was rude to me, wouldn't give me her name to address her. I didn't want my daughter to go there anymore but that is where most of her friends gather, she wants to go there that is the only place right now for recreation. Parents of Black children need to boycott that rink until she manager Judy, takes a class on 'HOW TO TREAT BLACK CHILDREN WITH RESPECT'. read more

My family and I come here a lot and this is the worst experience I've had at this location. On Sunday 9/20 Starlite hosted a $15 Glow Skate event where you received a little rinky dink bracelet, and unlimited pizza and soda. My children were ready for their pizza. So we walked over to the counter and it's about 20 cups on the counter filled with soda/juice WITHOUT lids on them. I thought that was very unsanitary to have open cups on the counter where people are speaking over them giving orders and for God knows what to fall in to the cups. These were the unlimited drinks offered in the $15 special. How gross?! So I just ask for my children's pizza. I asked for a pepperoni slice of pizza and a slice of cheese it was given to my children with no problem. Next I place an order for a combo + drink, 2 separate orders of fries, and a medium drink as well. She said give her 20 minutes and I did. My youngest child went to ask for another slice of pepperoni pizza and was told pepperoni pizza isn't free. Now 20 minutes ago it was, now cheese pizza is the only FREE option with the $15 special. Now in the flyer it said UNLIMITED PIZZA AND SODA! Like, really guys?! I asked was my order ready and I was given my combo. I asked about my fries and the server told me, "There in the basket with the combo." Why would you put 3 orders of fries in one basket? It was two separate orders of fries and I made that clear when I ordered. With the nastiest attitude she says, "Ugh, I'll just do it over." She had the audacity to have an attitude with me, when she made the error, very unacceptable! Due to her attitude I did not want her touching my food in fear she may do something to it. She also gave me the wrong size drink and when asked to change it she caught an attitude all over again. It's clearly on the receipt so I don't know what her issue was. So that's when the manager had to be of service and she had to step in and make the orders. My children wanted to play in the gym/play area, but was yelled at my one of your employees they had to get out because they didn't have on the correct colored bracelet. Paying $15 for a few slices of pizza, a spore filled drink, and skating? We had our own skates by the way. But that's what $15 covered only, and you wanted me to pay more for another bracelet what a rip off. I have been a loyal customer for YEARS and this was my first bad experience and I am extremely disappointed this happened. My boyfriend and I went here to celebrate Valentine's Day weekend and we had a fantastic time. We went on Saturday afternoon and of course it was crowded, but it was a very good family atmosphere with (thankfully) edited music. Among my (and my bf's) critiques.... 1) Needed more employees present. Getting in the door was one thing; renting the skates was something totally different. There was only one person working the rental area and we stood in line for 20 minutes waiting for our turn. The same was the case at the snack bar. One person working and a lengthy line. Since all we wanted was a drink to split, we just used the soda machine and we were done. 2) Music selection could have been better. It'd be awesome if there was a request area or a machine where you could put money in to get a song played, that would be even better. The songs they did play though, were great. Just wondering who the DJ is. 3) Needs several ceiling fans on the rink floor. It was burning up in there, and naturally because of all the movement and all the people. But it was as if there was no air conditioning whatsoever in the skating rink area itself. 4) Needs NEW locker storage! This was a big complaint for us. Took us trying three different lockers to find one that would close, lock and allow you to remove the key. ***Important note: Make sure you have stored all you want to store BEFORE locking it. It takes 50 cents in quarters to use it. If you open it again with the key for any reason, you will have to pay *another 50 cents* to close it again. So you see how this can get really irritating really fast if you don't know about that rule, which by the way, is not written in the locker instructions. Those things keep this place from being a 5-star rating, but what matters is having fun, and we did. read more

I always go to this facility but today was my first time going on Friday. $15 is the normal price just to skate which I believe is a little higher but they have a play ground and food if you want. So on Friday's they have pizza and drink for free and the price is increased. No problem but I don't want pizza nor a drink. Well they tell me that I have no choice. Ask for the manager and owner comes and tells me I have no choice I can pay 18.50 regardless and normally $20 but I just want to skate. I told him you are willing to loose a customer even though I come all the time usually on adult night and or Sat or Sun. He said yes he was willing to loose a customer. DO NOT GO HERE. It speaks volumes that the policy and $$ is more important than a regular customer. Must have been a favor to the owner to get some customers. Got us! We were finally able to get $9 back for skate rental for our poor quality skates, after waiting 30 mintutes for the manager to get off the phone! OVERPRICED!!! I'm only give 2 stars instead of one because we got there around opening on Friday and it was a decent skate. Not crowded with kids yet. On Fridays it's $18 for admission with unlimited pizza and soda. This price does not change even if you have your own skate and do not want pizza and soda. Ok, fine we pay almost $60 for 2 adults and a child. Then I go to get a walker for my son to use and they charge for that too, $6. The pizza is a slice of cheese, and the drink is LIMITED to orange and mr.pib. They claimed the soda machine was down, but ummm the soda came from the machine, so yeah. Then they had the nerve to call over the intercom to return the walkers cause our time was up, ok that part was funny to me and I ignored them. They only had 3 people on staff and one I'm gonna assume she was the manage because she was very stick in the mudish. Bruh...... this has to be the most unorganized and pathetic skating rink I've been to in my life. Growing up skating, my expectations are a little higher than most, but let me say, this place should be closed and re-established. The location was fine, parking good, food decent, but the overall skating experience was trash. The "manager" or should I say, want to be boss for the day, was really a pain in the rear end. Besides charging us for a party that we weren't attending (maybe since we were black she assumed we knew the other BBlack people there), this lady also was trying to operate the music. She played the same 3 songs on repeat and then when we asked if we could change the rotation, she immediately got an attitude and asked us to leave her alone because she was too busy to speak to us. Now tell me how are you so busy that you can't accommodate customers??? Needless to say, after that, the music stopped for 20min as she took a break. Another associate wanted to assist her with the music and she basically told them to go back to skate rental because she was "handling things" she was so rude to not only the customers but even to her own co-workers. I came here for a friend's niece's birthday. The sign here isn't too big so you will have to slow down when you get closer. The building is pretty big, it has party rooms so you can hold events. They have a arcade and games that you can win prizes. I can't skate but I loved watchingi everyone skate around. They played great music and even played a lot of 90s. As a teenager, it was fun a few years ago, when Saturday nights (6 pm - 11pm for $10) was a routine hang out. It was so much fun until about 2 or 3 years ago when they introduced cop security. Now, I understand that they were there to keep peace, (no fighting, drug deals, or other illicit activities). A few of the cops, the guys, were cool. You could walk up and ask them questions, have a conversation, and they were nice. There was one cop, a woman, who was just down right rude to everyone. She would kick us out or make us call home if girls' shorts didnt cover thier knees (not just reach, but COVER,) if shoulders were visible, if a neckline was not crew neck or higher. She would yell, and make the entire experience horrible. She is the reason my best friend and I stopped going every week. Finally, after about 8 months, my friend and I decided to try again, because we needed somewhere to have a double date, hers being a blind date. We walked in, and there and it looked like a daycare. There was no one over the age of 7. I havent been back since... its a cool family place, but for a Saturday night get together with a bunch of friends, definitely not.
