Their website and labels emphasize "handcrafted" and "batch-mixed" for consistent color, so I expected everything to match. Unfortunately, the two quarts were noticeably different from the gallon right out of the cans. The color variation was clear on the wall and made the whole area look patchy and uneven. I called customer service and spoke with a representative named Dolce. She told me it was my responsibility because it "has to be batch-mixed" and basically blamed me for not knowing that. After some back-and-forth they did refund the paint, which I appreciate. The problem is that the refund doesn't fix the real issue: I now have to repaint the entire wall, hire help, and spend more time and money trying to find a color match that actually works. The hassle and extra expense are significant. For the premium price they charge, I expected much better consistency and support. I won't be buying from Portola again.
