I love this place! (I am a little bias) Along with being a Real Estate agent with Realty ONE group I also work for SAFE Management the security company contracted within the stadium. In working for SAFE I have had the opportunity to travel to several other stadiums through out the United States for Super Bowls. University of Phoenix Stadium is bar none the cleanest and most well maintained stadium. Working in the back of house I have found that it is just a clean and well maintained as the front of house. The staff from all companies contracted are on their game. It is always nice to see people who truly care about what they do and providing the best fan experience! read more

I love this stadium. Their tailgating policies are very reasonable and parking staff are very helpful and friendly. Adding to that, the people behind the food counters were probably the nicest of any stadium I've ever visited. Amazing stadium! Our group thoroughly enjoyed attending a Cardinals game and there were plenty of concession item options for everyone. Make sure not to try to bring in a bag, purse or electronic cigarette because they are not permitted inside the stadium. read more

I'm the nerd who's reviewing a stadium not based on a sporting event but a food show. But hey, that's my life! First off, I hate the name of this place. The University of Phoenix Stadium. In fact, isn't this a college without ANY sports teams? It just doesn't roll off the tongue. Perhaps like BOB, we can call this UPS. Not as un United Parcel Service, but simply UPS! Not that I wanted it to be named Pink Taco, but it sure would have been more interesting. It is huge and fun to drive towards UPS as it shifts on the horizon. First it's on the left. No, wait the right. And then, BOOM there it is. A huge spaceship like structure, in the middle of not so much. For now anyway. Can't imagine what this will look like in even five years. The Shamrock Food show, in itself, is a big event. The stadium floor was perfect for this event. We obviously had plenty of room to sample fried foods, grilled meats, prepared sauces and dressings, dozens of types of tortilla chips, coffees, teas and various to go packaging and sanitizing products. I know. Fascinating. Secretly, I hoped, I would have run in to Matt Leinart. Like, perhaps, in the bathroom. No such luck. But I was impressed by UPS. Perhaps, sometime I will be here as a fan and not a general manager. And maybe, the name will change by then. Like, Big Ass Glendale Stadlum (BAGS). Or FEZ Stadium. I know. Self indulgent. My only complaint about the stadium is parking. There was no signage about where to go to pay for parking, and we wasted at least half an hour going from lot to lot trying to pay. The lot attendants would say go to Glendale Ave and you can pay there. None of them could direct me to Glendale Ave or where to go once we got there. After driving around half an hour I finally found a lot near a movie theater with paid parking. Little did I know this would prove a huge mistake. After a Cardinals football game, our first, we made it back to our car only to be locked in our spot for over an hour. There was no one directing traffic out of the huge parking lot. Left to human nature it was Lord of the Flies and no one was letting people move. Once to the main street, the police were directing traffic one way only. So be warned about the parking at University of Phoenix Stadium. It's the worst I've ever experienced and I've been to a lot of stadiums around the country. read more

For Supercross it was awful. Outside there were no garbage cans and maintenance was not doing their job, the portajohns were the worst I've ever had to use, the staff was mean and rude and clearly all hated their jobs. Think next time I'll just watch it on TV. Miss it at downtown Phoenix where they were a lot nicer and cleaner. read more

I wish no stars were an option, because our first Supercross race on January 12 here was a ruined experience for us due to the rude staff, disorganization, and absurd amount of inconvenience. The lady at the entrance was rude and not helpful; most staff could not even direct us where to go. Crowds of people clustered in confusion and everyone muttered the same thing: This is the most disorganized thing I've been to. I honestly think teenagers could organize and run the event better. They made my boyfriend throw away his can of chewing tobacco yet let others in with cigarettes. Rules applied to some and not others. Then, we were told to walk the entire perimeter of the fence in the pouring rain afterwards, because they wouldn't let us simply walk across the street. On top of that, the entire parking lot stood STILL for an HOUR and the car next to us said it was typical of them. It was so ridiculous many vehicles drove over the curb to leave after being stuck so long. Staff was rude, condescending, and yelled/argued with attendees who did not deserve it. I'm sure it's a great stadium to catch a football game. The stadium itself is new, facilities are clean and I love the huge sky light roof. However, I wouldn't recommend it for March Madness. They set up half the stadium during the March Madness games and the acoustics were HORRIBLE. The stadium is sooo big that any noise (cheering) just drowned in the big stadium. Fans didn't get into the game because you can barely hear the cheering and the seating even in the 100 section was bad. read more

We went to a concert Tuesday night here and although the bands were amazing the sound quality was atrocious! The sound was up so high that it caused such echo and reverberation that one could not understand what the band was saying while speaking. Maybe they were having technical difficulties, I don't know, but I wouldn't risk another concert at this venue for fear of disappointment. read more

Worst experience... failing grade. Have been going to Monster Jam for last 6 years downtown with our family at Chase Field. This is the first year at University of Phoenix Stadium. First, $15 extra fees were tacked on each ticket. It was a nightmare to get into a parking lot....poor traffic control and poor direction. Then we were charged $20 to park 1/2 mile away. 30 min long lines to get into stadium where they were confiscating all kinds of things from everyone. ...water, tiny swiss army knife, chewing tobacco. ...and that was just 3 people I saw. Then, bad and expensive food. Then, over an hour to get out of the parking lot! No wonder they lose money on the Superbowl! Don't think we are coming back here, not worth the cost and aggrevation. read more

Went to Rolling Stones concert tonight, which was great, but spent almost as much time getting out of the cheap (green) parking lot as we did at the concert. Traffic management -- and I use that term loosely -- was the worst, and apparently focused on getting the cars out first who paid for premium parking. I'm in a wheelchair, and half the streets, lanes, nooks and crannies, whatever, that take you from the green lot to the stadium don't have regular sidewalks, ramps, etc. Then you try to get in and find another disaster. No delineation of lines to stand in, just a mass crowd trying to merge into the security lines. No preparation or special line for wheelchairs. My chair is wide and won't fit through the metal detector, which they didn't want to believe despite us telling them immediately. They finally figured out they would have to move the metal gate for my husband to push me through, and in the process, never sent my husband back through the metal detector -- so glad he isn't a terrorist! Although some of the "ushers" that help you find seats are helpful, others are useless. Went to bathroom during concert and when I approached the strap that encloses the wheelchair section, trying to figure out how to open it, the usher just stared at me while I fiddled with it. Will never go back for a concert, Cardinals game, or any other reason; it is the worst! read more

Customer service is terrible. After multiple attempts to resolve a situation the customer service representatives continue to ignore my calls and emails and refuse to call me back so that we can resolve the situation. I will never attend another event at the stadium because of them. Their names are Sam Cornejo and Katie Mulloy. They should be severely reprimanded for their handling of the situation. read more

Really enjoyed the seating and field. Being indoors at an air conditioned football game during the summer in AZ was great. Food wasn't that great - had a cheeseburger and fries, the cheese on the burger was just shredded cheese most likely used for making other menu items as well. I've never purchased a cheeseburger and had it come with shredded cheese on it, it was kind of strange. And the burger quality wasn't great. Parking was a nightmare and we thought we arrived with plenty of time to spare. In reality we just made it into the stadium in time for kickoff. I was very glad for the guy in the golf cart who was warning people about bringing purses into the stadium. It's not just backpacks that aren't allowed; security was turning a lot of people away with anything larger than a woman's clutch-sized purse. And even that was iffy from what I saw. Only unopened/factory sealed water bottles are allowed. read more

We are not locals, but have friends with Fiesta Bowl tickets. We have been to other pro, college venues. This place is the most impressive we have been to (no, we have not made it to Dallas). The sight lines are beautiful. The seats are comfortable and roomy. The sound system works well. The massive end zone screens are great. Concession stands are typical, well stocked and always overpriced. Nice souvenirs available as well. Parking is interesting, with a massive lot. There is one in our party that is disabled and we were able to get close in parking. All of the people that greeted us and sold us things and ushered us to our seats were incredibly pleasant and friendly as well. The most impressive thing, however, is the security. I have no explanation why people would spend hundreds or thousands of dollars to fly to a bowl game and get obnoxiously drunk and offend others who are there to enjoy the game and root for their favorite teams. We had a bad encounter last year that was handled professionally. This year was a major upgrade. Security was pre-emptive, taking care of stumbling drunks before they could hurt themselves or others. No, I am not against enjoying a drink at a sporting event, but when others start offending me by spilling drinks on me, I draw the line. Now that my rant is over, I will come back here to enjoy sporting events and hope that my home town gets a similar facility some day. read more

Went on tour in March 2016: Tour was very abbreviated with extremely little intellectual detail. VERY basic facts were discussed and very basic areas were shown. Didn't get to see Cardinals locker room, broadcast booth, or any of the stadiums "workings"; all VERY surprising. Stadium has amazing engineering and modern design, but nothing was covered in any detail. I've been on A+ tours in the past and thins one was an C- at best. Not a whole lot of fun to be had. This stadium is the worst! They clearly have no capabilities in logistics. It took us nearly two hours to get into parking and over two to get out. This is a huge failure of planning and they should be ashamed of people's experience at the Super Bowl. This venue is clearly ill equipped to handle a crowd and shouldn't be somewhere you drive to, ever. read more

Great time with the Zonies! We made the 5 hour drive from San Diego to watch our beloved Chargers play. It is actually kind of sad now to go back home and watch them in our 1967 year stadium. San Diego get it together man! Arizona is hot as the devils butt crack so it makes sense it is indoor. I really like how they have the awesome field with real grass that slides in! I also don't think that there are any really bad seats. We sat in Section 124 row 14 and they were awesome! Tailgating was cool but has NOTHING on SD tailgating. They have a great lawn which is a cool concept.Once inside it was a lot cooler, there are ample bathrooms, and the big TV screens are awesome. I was disappointed with the food and atmosphere inside. This is the only other stadium I have visited, but I was expecting more inside. At our Petco park we have tons of bars, restaurants, shopping etc... all I seem was hot dogs and Papa Pohns. For the most part, the AZ Card fans were classy and oh so cool. I didn't get heckled except maybe twice but it was very friendly at that. During the game we were winning and looked like we had the game in the bag, but in typical Chargers fashion we blow it. I can tell you that the Card fans were getting very nervous and upset. After the game I got separated from my people, including my husband and then I was really ganged up on by men and women. All of a sudden everyone was sooooo brave. They even made sexual comments, it was quite disgusting and if you ask me, men ganging up on a small petite young woman who is all alone is pretty P** word. Had I not been separated from anyone they wouldn't have the balls to say anything. Other than that it was a good experience and even though we lost I am sooo happy that I came. Most AZ people are cool, I know that because I have family in Douglas, AZ but there are always those people out there! read more

Home of the Arizona Cardinals & Fiesta Bowl during College Football Playoff in December/January of each year. And most recently, Super Bowl #SB49. It's a great experience to be in and around the stadium. I'm not sure if they are still doing tours of the stadium, but if there's ever a chance to do that, make sure you do it. read more

The Ada accessibility was horrible at this stadium. We had to walk a complete circle around the stafium to get to an elevator from the red zone pre party. There were plenty of security people but none could provide accurate info on where to go and one even directed us down a staircase which led outside znd tgen we were denied entry back in. Went here for the Fiesta Bowl this.....pretty dissappointed. First, why was the roof on?....But the place is just cold and sterile. No warmth. No feel. Like playing in a big Costco. No Ambience. Terrible parking, giant cluster in every direction. Stupid policy on purses but then they check nothing on your actual person. You could literally take anything in the stadium on your body, just not in a bag that isn't clear plastic?? Sound for concerts is HORRIBLE. The ONLY thing I can say good about it was the restrooms were actually fairly clean and well stocked and the people working there were all fairly nice. The home and garden show that was held here in 2016 has questionable vendors. Never... I mean never buy anything from the Moyou Nails vendor. The demonstration of how great the Moyou Nail Kit works seems great. But don't be fooled!!! Once you take it home it doesn't work the way they show the product. I wasted $40 bucks on the Kitty Set! You can't get a refund if you open the product...how else would you know it doesn't work. It's a rip off! read more

Went to the Cardinals-St. Louis Rams game...at least until midway through the third quarter....was able to beat paying $70 for seats in the very top row of the whole stadium (on the 10 yard line) by getting them as a Christmas present....was able to beat $4 for a pop by signing up to be a designated driver....also was able to beat paying $20 to park in the mall lot by lucking into a space along the street in the mall next to the movie complex.....and was able to beat paying god knows how much for food and beer by tailgating across the street....this was essentially a free day of NFL football until after the game at Gordon Birsch....view from seats though was great....so was Pat Tillman statue outside....classy tribute to a real hero....concourses were roomy...roof was open on great and cool day and it was nice....got there 3 hours before kickoff and stayed in area well after game so traffic was not an issue..just as nice if not nicer than Lucas Oil Stadium in Indy and Ford Field in Detroit, NFL stadiums I've been to that were built around the time as the Glendale stadium,. read more

Went to see the Bills play the Cardinals after getting great tickets from Stub Hub. The stadium is huge, but it is clean, and has a great layout. We did not partake in the tailgating, but it looked like those that did were having a great time. They could use some more aggressive parking attendants to help direct traffic, but with that said, we got a close spot on our own, and it did not take too long to get out after the game. I would not hesitate to put up the money to catch another game there. We had a great time. read more

This place is awesome. We had a great experience throughout the game (other than the final score), from easy and affordable parking to good traffic flow after the game. The security guards and ushers were helpful, and offered to take pictures for my family. Food was priced alright, with a wide selection, and quick lines. The UofP stadium is awesome! There's plenty of room to tailgate (well, except for the lawn this pre-season), the bathrooms are close to pretty much everyone, lots of food options, team store, hi-def jumbo screen and lets not forget the AIR CONDITIONING! :o) Beer's a little expensive inside but, that's why we tailgate, right?! read more

sooo today was my first day attending an Arizona Cardinals game seeing how i am ultimatley from Arizona you would think i have attended these more often. but living more then sixtymiles from the stadium its not so easy. but today me my boyfriend and his friends took the voyage from tempe to glendale to attend this game, the Arizona Cardinals VS the St.Louis Rams. First is first, you are going to have to leave two hours prior to make it on time. Especially if you are planning on tailgaiting for the game. We had paking passes for setion 'BRN' you would think it was close, no... it was all the way across Westgate so, take a bus or be preared to walk. Once you enter, all is clear you find your seats and are happy for that moment. Once you build up a thirst for beer you walk uostairs and see that all prices not only for alcohol are 7$ plus. All food overly priced as well. Typical for any type of event in the Phoenix Metropolitan area. All in all, not looking at prices i had fun. good experience read more
