Despite repeatedly asking him to apply more pressure, I eventually decided to end the session early. They sent in a female therapist instead, and she was fantastic. However, she stopped after an hour even though I had paid for 90 minutes, so I had to remind her. While I appreciated the quality of her massage, I was disappointed that no discount was offered for the disruptions. Because she did such a great job, I booked with her again--but this time, the experience was completely different. She didn't ask about my pressure preferences or problem areas, and I had to request deeper pressure multiple times. She seemed rushed, as if she just wanted to get through the session. Had I not experienced her skill before, I might have considered it an average massage, but knowing what she was capable of made it all the more frustrating. I won't be returning. Time to explore other options.

Kelsey was kind enough to make time for me on a Sunday morning. Her office is in downtown Vancouver, WA. I live in NW Portland, and the stroll was easy with only a 13 min drive. Parking is free on the weekends, by the way. How nice is that, right? As soon as I arrived, I was greeted by Kelsey. She offered me water or tea. I filled out the usual paper work. Kelsey made sure I understood what my options were. I told her about the pain in my body, and she worked with those points during the massage. It was very relaxing. I also like her music selection. It was putting me into a trance. Kelsey pulled a lot of stuck energy out of my system. I could feel my blood circulating during the session. Her touch is strong and gentle.
