I had received incorrect items from Instacart and went in to exchange them for the correct products. On Thursday, June 11, 2026, I went in early so as not to cause any issue. It was about 6:30 am. The checker in the first aisle was more than willing to assist me. I use a walker to get around, so she enlisted the help of another employee who was equally as courteous. I was able to leave with the correct products in a very short time. I apologize I don't know the names of the women that assisted me, but they were professional and very personable. Yesterday I visited the deli and asked to purchase 6 spicy tenders . The lady who waited in me said they were really good . However when I got home they were so hard I couldn't cut them with my kitchen scissors or a knife . Would you eat hard as rock tenders ? Probably not . Hello Regina Kerr, I wanted to make a complaint and bring to your attention employee Beverly's inappropriate behavior and attitude towards me as a customer on 9/10/25. Beverly gave inadequate attitude towards me and I am also currently pregnant. She did not want to serve me in the express lane as I had a few items over 15, however there were lines at every stand, under staffed cashiers and I was told it was okay to jump in any line by another employee. Beverly said inappropriate statements to me like " Do you know you're in the express lane" " You didn't seriously think this was 15 items did you?" " you must follow the rules" " you are holding up people" when there were other lines just as long. When I stated do I need to get the manager? Beverly stated no and then finally began ringing my items but gave attitude to me as a customer. This is my local store so I am not okay with this behavior. When the "new" Calimesa Stater Bros. store (#205?) opened it quickly became our favorite. Close to Cherry Valley and relatively easy to access. Similar to the "new" Yucaipa location on Bryant St; it is big, laid out well, and the employees get it done. Recently we were greeted by an employee named Autumn. She is super helpful, congenial, and seems to know where every single item in the store is. On February 26th, I returned for a few items and again happened to be greeted by none other than Autumn. Interacting with her again, it is obvious her mannerisms are consistent. Extremely nice, positive, and very helpful. This girl is amazing, and an obvious asset to Stater Bros. as a whole. I did take the time to find the manager on duty, Regina, and convey my thoughts. Regina expects the best, and her store certainly reflects that. read more

I am so beyond glad they opened a Stater Bros right here! It's down the street from both my parents, my in laws, & right next to my daughters' school! Staff is always super friendly and with this being a newer location, they have everything. A bakery, deli, sushi, fresh cut fruit & meat, floral dept. etc. This store kinda got hit hard because it opened during the height of the Covid pandemic. But now that things are "normal" again, this store is really living up to its promise & potential. Stater Bros market chain is not in Southern California and this is great to know because their produce & meat & everything is from California. I love this Staters and I'm always there shopping every weekend for my parents & in-laws. read more

Consistently poor service. What a shame! Beautiful new store, but the MOST unfriendly and unknowledgeable meat counter staff. Prime meat is hard to secure in Beaumont so I generally go out to LA, OC or SD to purchase (See picture of the Butchery). I was encouraged to see that this Stater Bros sells Prime. However....Oh boy......the staff have no idea what they are doing AND super rude. Big Mistake. I'm not returning. Lost the opportunity to gain a new customer with the taste and bankroll to afford prime meat. The meat and seafood Manager should be fired! Saved the day! We needed several last minute corsages for prom - in two days. Stater Bros was not the first on the list of places to go, but when we were unsuccessful at regular flower shops, we started looking elsewhere; anyone who sold flowers. This Stater Bro's (on Cherry Valley) floral department not only happened to be making corsages, but Kerry and Ana made three corsages plus a boutonniere while I waited. She gave me the options available and made sure it was as I wanted them. What made Kerry extra awesome was just how much care and precision she put into her job to make my daughter's and friend's corsages / boutonniere just right. Dedicated flower shops couldn't have done better. read more

Unfortunately, Stater Bros is posing as a full service market while providing LOW QUALITY products and SUBPAR services. My wife and I are both Asian American. You can see where this is going... We have been ignored by cashier staff on multiple occasions, as if we were not even physically standing right in front of them (when we were). Kinda upset cause this is our local grocery store. One time, wife clearly tells cashier, 'I have soda in my cart.' Cashier ignores her. Then when she's about to pay, the cashier says.. 'Wait, you have soda in your cart that I did not ring up.' Today, cashier opens register and makes us wait when we're clearly right in front of her. Hire better, less racist, cashiers and thank you. read more

The cashier, Suzy, was extremely rude and embarrassed me. I already contacted corporate. She made me take my mask off to verify my ID and held on to my ID and debit card before the transaction was over. I already put in my PIN number and there is nothing wrong or incorrect on either debit card or ID. Nothing was expired. It was unbelievable how she treated me. She was incredibly rude and an embarrassment to Staters. This store was just built by our house so we were excited, but I'm not anymore. Maybe we will just drive further to another grocery store. My neighbor was behind us and he said that she was talking about us. I have no idea why. I am in my 30s and I was with my daughter and dad. I don't look homeless and I definitely wasn't trying to rip anyone off or steal. I was compliant even when Suzy was embarrassing me. read more

Newer Stater Bros with some great employees. The store always seems to be clean and stocked and checkers are friendly. I won't go to the one on Calimesa Blvd. due to the opposite. They have a great deli section and hot food section that has a wide selection of things. read more

This economy is killing the quality of food everywhere. Business owners are cutting corners just to make a buck. But they seem to forget that when customers go back for more is was because their food was good and was worth the drive or expense. My experience from yesterday was terrible. I made my usual stop to get myself some sushi as I was driving to a business appointment. Paid 15.99 for a so called Fujisan combo. The minute I tried to eat one precut roll it fell apart and it all turned into a rice bowl mess. Worse part was they only used imitation crab meat on all of the rolls except for 4 slices that had a sliver of shrimp on top. This plate wasn't worth 15.99 further more the cook that prepared the rice probably didn't follow instructions in how to cook rice for the sushi roll. That was my last time there and I need to make sure the word gets out. If we keep accepting these kind of cheap options from places we used love, they will never step up and make it better. Instead waste our time and money. Use your voice people there is a way we can make things better not worse. I support all small business but not those that are trying to give us cheap ingredients bad quality and ignore the fact that we are their life support. I truly hope the owner makes a decision to start using "Tuna" "Salmon" and teach their employees how to cook the rice and roll those sushi rolls. After following the instructions to the t our carpet came out dirtier than before. I even watched a YouTube video on the use. Getting there: Its located right off the 10 freeway, take the Cherry Valley exit and make a right. You will see the new shopping center on the left hand side. Experience: This new Stater Bros is so cool! There is a sushi bar, huge fresh food section, and I don't know if it's just me but I feel like I've been finding items here that I haven't seen at other grocery stores. We've been obsessed with their ready-to-cook meals. They're so easy to plop in the oven. I haven't tried the fresh fruit bar in the back, but it always looks so good! So far the few times I've been in there the staff has been very nice and polite. Always asking how my day is going and if I need help with anything. read more

We ordered 60 croissant sandwiches, a bread bowl veggie platter from the service deli, and 60 cupcakes from the bakery for our daughters baby shower, everything was fresh, taste great sandwiches had plenty of meat on them, the cupcakes were very moist and delicious. read more

I love this new Stater brothers. It's so pretty and clean and has such a great selection. It also has wonderful employees that are super helpful. Yesterday I was in a bad mood after having a couple really bad days and I went to pick up my instacart order. There were a couple of fairly minor things that instacart did wrong but I was in such a bad mood I was really rude to the girl that brought the groceries out. Amelia was super sweet and did everything she could to make sure I did not leave angry. And that she did the best she could to take care of my problem. She even offered to get a manager just to make sure that I felt my problem was taken care of the best they could. I was really impressed with the fact that she was so nice all the way through my complaints. And she effectively did everything she could to help make my day better. Always blows my mind how far down this place has fallen since Jack brown died . I rarely shop there anymore , but occasionally but tonight stopped in because it's close . Went for service at the deli @ 7 pm and asked for help .. a kid named Nicholas told me they weren't making food anymore . I asked for a sandwich . Another guy came out of the back and rude as hell said that they were busy doing other stuff and refused to help . I took what was in my cart to check out and mentioned to the cashier that I complained before that there were no posted hours . Back then I was assured that if the store is open the deli is open . She said that changed and now they close when they want to close .. worst service out of every grocery store I've been to .. hands down read more

I have been coming to this Starer Bros. Market ever since it opened. I was truly happy that I didn't have to drive more than 8 minutes to pick up groceries. Recently I have seen a change in customer service. What is wrong with just a response to a customers greeting. Today I was checking out with cashier Erin J. I spoke to her but no response. She and the bagging clerk was involved in a conversation. I then tried to make dialogue with the bagger but no response. I guess I should just shut up and purchase my groceries and get on with my day. Well, that's what I will do if I have to return to store #205. I'm not saying you have to tell me your life store but at least treat me with enough respect that makes me not want to drive right past that store in search of a different one.
