I've been on the search for thrifty Ice Cream, and when I came across a TikTok saying they had it here, I had to make my way over. First bite... my God, AMAZING. Coming here, I found more than just my favorite ice cream. Erik, the owner, is incredibly kind, and you can really feel the passion behind this place. I genuinely hope Odd Ball reaches great levels of success and abundance because they deserve it. One of the coolest things is how this spot takes you back--if you grew up in the 90s, it's such a nostalgic experience. On top of that, it's also an art studio, which makes it such a unique and creative space. Definitely check it out--enjoy some amazing ice cream while getting creative. Best part is that they have different cone options and toppings too! Price wise it was not bad for all 5 of us. Staff was friendly which is always a plus! This ice cream store was awesome. They served thrifty ice cream, which you can't get anymore because Rite Aid drugstore is closed now, so it's nice to be able to go into kind of an old-fashioned ice cream store and still get scooped ice cream 3.75 a scoop. Parking is generous but because it shares the same parking lot with 21 Sushi, it can get quite cumbersome to find a spot. Service is friendly, ice cream selection is just right with enough to satisfy many craving preferences, and amount of scooped ice cream is a generous serving. Having 2 toddlers, this spot is wonderful to go to right after a heft meal. Only con is that there's no seating as it is quite a cozy, small spot. Otherwise, this is a solid 4 star joint that does precisely as intended - serve delicious ice cream! Fantastic addition to this cozy plaza in Calimesa. My hubby had the Reptilian ...Mint & Chip Ice Cream, Mint Oreos, Chocolate sauce, Marshmallow sauce and whip cream...very tasty and only $7.00. That is a steal!!! Just found this little ice cream parlor...yumm-o! But I noticed one thing that's not on the menu, and that's chocolate sauce. Why? It's a staple of every good ICP since the beginning of time! And no, hot fudge sauce is NOT the same thing. Think Hershey's chocolate syrup as an example. Different taste...different texture. When I noticed they make their banana split with hot fudge sauce, I thought "nooooo!" A classic BS sauces are pineapple, strawberry and chocolate. Owner and staff are amazing; courteous and friendly. They have thrifty ice cream if you're just there for scoops or you can level up to a shake or sundae of your choice. Yummy waffle cones and sugar cones dipped in chocolate are available too. All the toppings you can think of are available to boot. Ambiance - clean, relaxed, well decorated. The ordering area is not huge but they are opening a sitting area next door soon. There are approx 6 stairs to get inside, I didn't see an ADA ramp. read more

Very pleased we have a new ice cream place in town! Today I tried the cheesecake sundae which included a whole slice of cheesecake, strawberry ice cream, marshmallow sauce, whipped cream, and rainbow sprinkles. I definitely enjoyed it. This place is new and already one my regular places! Just what the city of Calimesa needed. If you're local; you definitely appreciate not having to drive out of the city for a late night treat. This place is open later than most local businesses. The Scoops are generous and you have many flavor options. The owner is amazing and still expanding his menu; ice cream cones, Sundays, shakes! and even dog ice cream treats . The building isn't new but the owner can't control that; I've been here multiple times since it's opened and you can definitely see that a lot of work and effort has been put into this shop.
