I am only coming here to share the negative pieces as a result of attempting to speak with the manager, Hawaii, directly and getting nowhere. In fact, she is the reason I have decided to discontinue my association with this clinic all together. I want to give this place 1 star based on Hawaii's horrible "customer service" and the way that I was literally just brushed off over my last experience there, but I can't do that since the majority of their work was pretty good and they do have some good qualities too. **Do not go here if you have significant dental anxiety/trauma and/or you are expecting to have the dentist clearly explain next steps. This is not a place that distinguishes between PTSD and "anxiety" that Hawaii's attitude seems to imply is easy to get and easy to get over with they staff they have. They are also always hiring hygienists- be wary because a high turn over means most are usually in training of some kind and the environment for employees may be lacking what other dentists provide. Maybe some of my confusion and dissatisfaction could have been corrected with clearer communication on their part- but the manager was not able to do that either.** **Do go here for a nice facility- new location is pretty posh and in a great spot. Good cleanings. When you get the competent MA- she is the bomb.** I sought care at this practice after many years of postponing extensive dental work while prioritizing my family as a single parent. This was a significant financial and emotional decision, funded through family support, and I conducted thorough research before committing. My goal was to establish long-term dental care for myself and my family, and I specifically chose this practice because it promoted high-quality work completed in minimal visits--an important factor due to past dental trauma and severe anxiety. Initially, my experience was positive. The staff and management were welcoming, and the treatment plan--while more expensive than other options--seemed justified by the promise of efficiency and quality. I paid out of pocket, including enrolling in the practice's in-house plan due to lack of insurance. However, over time, communication became inconsistent, appointment expectations changed, and the "two-visit" plan ultimately required multiple additional visits. After my crowns were placed, I experienced ongoing pain and a sensation of looseness that I reported multiple times. While adjustments were made, the issue persisted for months. I was advised to purchase an expensive night guard, which I did in good faith, yet the underlying problem remained unresolved. Eventually, I was informed--abruptly and without prior imaging or clear explanation--that an implant placed years earlier by a specialist had failed and needed to be removed. The handling of this situation was deeply distressing. Promised diagnostics were not completed, explanations were vague, and there was no clear or documented plan for next steps. Despite the financial and emotional weight of losing an implant shortly after completing extensive restorative work, I was left without meaningful follow-up, guidance, or accountability. Communication from the dentist was minimal, and post-procedure interactions felt rushed and impersonal. When I attempted to raise concerns with management, my experience was further minimized. My anxiety and medical complexity were dismissed, and the work was repeatedly framed as "cosmetic," despite its clear functional importance. Ultimately, I felt unheard, unsupported, and discouraged from continuing care--not only for myself, but for my children as well. While some technical aspects of the care appeared competent, patient communication, continuity of care, and compassion were lacking once complications arose--particularly for a patient with medical trauma and complex needs. I left without the outcome I was promised, without a clear plan to address the resulting gap, and without confidence in returning. I share this experience for those who may require extensive dental work, are paying out of pocket, or need a provider skilled in trauma-informed care. I hope this feedback encourages greater transparency, follow-through, and patient-centered communication for others in similar situations. read more

When I first went to Station Park Dental I was kind of shocked by how large their practice was when it is only a few years old. I get it now. This is an incredible office that will take amazing care of you. You start out with Chelsie at the front desk. She is so kind and greets you early each time you visit. Then you go back and you will meet Hannah. I have only been in for 3 visits but these kind young ladies remember who I am and even what my interests are. I had one tooth that was concerning me and I wanted a crown put on it. Through the exam Dr. Allen found a porcelain crown that was cracked. I asked for gold on both crowns and they quoted me a price. I said let's do it and they prepared my teeth and put on temporary crowns. My permanent crowns came in faster than expected so the called and asked if I wanted to come in a few days early. One of the teeth had been a bit sore, so Dr. Allen suggested he not permanently cement that crown and see how it felt in a week. He attached one gold crown permanently and the other he put on temporarily. I have never had a dentist show this kind of care. After a few days my tooth was feeling great and he had me in to put the crown on permanently. There was no extra charge for this and it shows you how much pride they take in their work. Dr. Allen is just amazing at his profession and he is kind. If you are looking for a dentist, you cannot go wrong here. The entire staff treats you like gold and the experience will have you telling your friends. Station Park Dental is the very best of the best. read more

I absolutely love Station Park Dental! As someone who doesn't particularly love going to the dentist I couldn't be happier with my experience. The staff are extremely welcoming! I've interacted with Brittany in the office quite a bit, she's awesome!! My teeth are on the sensitive side and their hygienist have done a great job of taking that into consideration with my cleanings. I've gone to Dr. Allen and have had to take care of some cavities and make plans to correct cavities that weren't done right with a previous dentist. I'd highly recommend both Station Park Dental and Dr. Allen! read more

I had my tooth extracted today- they don't give any pain meds! I can't take Ibuprofen because of my Kidney Disease. The surgeon and the front desk girl would only repeat Tylenol is found to work just as well as any pain meds do. Even just one pain pill for the first day would have helped tremendously. Its ironic because I was waiting in the office when a different surgeon was giving after care advice for a teen with wisdom tooth removal, and they get plenty of Percocet. I have been awake all night with throbbing jabbing pain. They said they treat patients like family. Maybe family they hate! read more

I can honestly say I have never been treated so rudely by a dentist. After signing a waiver for no X rays that day Dr Alli argued with me when I told him I didn't want X rays taken at my cleaning. He proceeded to tell me that I had to have them once a year. I have no problems with my teeth and felt there was no need for X-rays since they have already taken my X-rays previously. Dr Alli's bed side manner was horrific! Needless to say I won't be returning. read more

We are visiting Utah from Washington and my son was in a TON of pain in his mouth. We were able to walk in, on a Saturday no less, and have his tooth pulled. If you are receiving any extensive services like a crown or root canal please request an itemized bill and find out exactly what they will and will not bill your insurance. I had a root canal with a crown and three procedure codes were not billed to my insurance. When I received my explanation of benefits (EOB) I noticed the total charges did not match and what I was charged $500 more than the EOB showed as my responsibility. I asked my insurance and was told because Station Park Dental contracts with my insurance they should write off any charges outside the negotiated rate plus my responsibility as a contractual adjustment on their books. When I asked about why I was charged for the 3 procedure codes they did not bill my insurance I was told because the insurance does not pay for those codes. Sounds like fraudulent billing practices to me! Of course when I pointed this out I was told it was in my treatment plan so a person is suppose to know what procedure codes they will and will not bill your insurance based on what your insurance will and will not pay. Would heavily advise to go somewhere else to get extensive services because you will pay for anything not billed to your insurance! Great customer service, NOT!!! Needless to say they lost my family and myself as customers! read more

Dr. Allen is the best! He cares about each patient and wants to provide the best care. The office is new and full of the best technology! I loved that I was able to watch Netflix or DVR/Live TV. We love station park dental. Everyone here is fantastic. My kids even love it! They have a fun little area with iPads and toys in the waiting room. We usually have multiple appointments at once when we come in and they are so accommodating and get us in and out while still being thorough. My kids get jealous when it's not their turn for an appointment and love their prize machine afterwards. We would highly recommend (and have!) to all of our family and friends. read more

Looking at the great reviews, I am kinda confused. My experience was horrific.I did not see Dr. Allan, I was with Dr. Allred and I suspect that this is why my experience diverges from the other reviews. To start off, the rest of the staff here were great! That's what makes me so sad about my visit. But here are the issues I had. First, my x-rays were blurry. The camera was a handheld and I don't know if it was the camera or just the shots taken, but even I could tell by looking at the x-rays that they weren't good. This was confirmed to me when I sent the x-rays to two other dentists to verify them after my visit. Both told me that they were awful x-rays, too low quality, and that they would need to take new ones to consult with me. At this point, Dr. Allred came in to discuss the x-rays with me. He remarked to me that I had probably never seen an x-ray of my teeth before, which is a really bizarre thing to say. Did he think I was a teenager? I'm 24, I've been to plenty of dentists and seen my x-rays plenty of times. It just came off as kinda patronizing to me, not sure if that was the intent but its a weird thing to say to a patient in 2020 when x-rays have been around for years. Then, using the poor quality x-rays, he told me I had a cavity on one of my back molars. This came as a surprise to me because I had been to another dentist 6 months prior and they hadn't said anything. As he was talking, he was making it seem like I hadn't been to a dentist in years. He informed me that I needed to have my wisdom teeth taken out and that if I didn't it would make the filling very difficult as it was on a tooth adjacent to one of my wisdom teeth. This seemed odd to me, because the "cavity" was not on the side of the tooth touching the wisdom tooth. It was also weird because I have never had a dentist tell me I HAD to take my wisdom teeth out. Some have told me I may want to look into it, but Dr. Allred went into a flurry of telling me I was getting them out, no options were given. At this point, without really consulting me about wisdom tooth removal and having a discussion, he begins to tell me that they can schedule it before I go, get me pricing etc. He tells me that I'll be sedated and asks me to pull my sleeve up. He started tapping the vein in my arm. Look, I gotta say that this is so bizarre and inappropriate to do to any customer in any business. I wasn't asked if I wanted to do this, I was being told and given no other options. And I hope that he reads this and thinks about how weird it is. To add to that, I have a serious phobia of needles. Not some discomfort, but a legitimate phobia. I started having a panic attack at this point as he discussed being hooked to an IV and sedated, though I'm sure he didn't realize it because I was able to hold it back pretty well. But this is why I am so dissatisfied, there was NO respect toward me by Dr. Allred throughout my visit. No sensitivity. I was treated like a teenager at the beginning who has never been to a dentists office, then told I am getting my wisdom teeth out and they'll give you the pricing when you check out. He then left the room and I met with the office manager. Fighting tears, I told the her I couldn't afford it right now. THEN I was finally told that I didn't have to do it if I didn't feel like I could at the moment. Not by him, but by the office manager. Dr. Allred is a newer dentist, so I guess he is still learning. Here is my advice to him as a customer: treat your customers with a little more dignity and respect and let them know they have options and choices. To wrap this all up, I drove to Draper to see a dentist who came highly recommended by a friend and he took new x-rays and confirmed that I never had a cavity at all. He also told me that wisdom tooth removal for me was VERY elective at this point and that they weren't giving me any issues. New customers, in my opinion, stay away from Dr. Allred and don't waste your money. read more

BEST Place to get EVERYTHING DONE. I was completely comfortable and I have horrible anxiety (usually) I didn't even feel the numbing injections. I had bone grafts done and am now on my way to my third procedure and have had no pain. My family is all going here now. Dr. Allen and his staff are fantastic. They answer your questions, take the time to make sure you are comfortable with a treatment plan and have helped me immensely with my dental anxiety (it's a real thing, people, despite what my husband says). Before coming to here, I would literally have a panic attack just by having to make an appointment at my old dentists office, it was terrible. Now, I actually am able relax and look forward to my appointments rather than dread them for weeks beforehand. D.D.S Ryan Allen is absolutely amazing. He took in my Father in law who had some rough work previously done by another dentist. He repaired all the damage that had been done and was willing to work with him financially, not to mention he was very kind and pleasant to work with. 11/10 would recommend!!! read more
