I had the honey bbq wings with french fries. Before ordering wings, we sampled a few sauces and they ALL tasted awful. I was both disappointed and shocked. A place known for AND named after wings, to have watery bland and funky sauces, i would not have imagined that. So, i played it safe! My honey bbq wings were just ok. But, I do appreciate the server allowing us to order all flats (without a hassle and no extra cost). What a treat! The fries did not really come out hot, they were lukewarm at best. The food is so so. Wings fair but the skin on bone in wings stretches not crispy. The celery sticks were nearly rotten. One was slimy at both ends two were brown and old and the other one was slimy throughout and not crunchy at all extremely old. There is a lot that is wrong with this establishment. When we arrived the manager seated us. Her comments were "Yawl will have to sit in the bar area otherwise the service will suck". Should've left then. The food was marginal at best. My daughter ordered a salad with grilled chicken. It arrived at the end of our dining. Ridiculous. After ordering the bottomless appetizer, we were charged for every person over 4 in our party. $12 extra. If that was the policy, indicate that on the menu. While visiting the BWW in Meridian, MS at 114 Highway 11 & 80 E, we went for lunch and the food was below acceptable. The bone less wings were dry and tasted like they were made yesterday. Then my wife ordered a Blue Watermelon cooler from the bar and after a few sips she realized it wasn't to her liking. When asked to get something else, she was informed that they don't "comp" anything here and that she would still have to pay for that drink and the next. Even the manager was not willing to make it right. Unfortunately, my wife was extremely turned off and didn't want anything else. I used to eat at Buffalo Wild Wings at least every 10 days and then the one nearest us hired several teen-aged workers and the service changed from good to loud and noisy and the staff never came to the table. This was a few years ago. I found the same situation in other places than our local. We stopped going there but I would occasionally check back , but no changes. We were driving from St. Louis south and stopped at this restaurant. The food was good, the service was good and the teenagers provided good service. Literally sat here for 45 minutes to get a drink order another 15 for half the table to get their drinks and another 30 for the other half of the table. It took 10 minutes for one person to get food another 15 to get the next and 25 for mine and 40 for the final person. The only thing positive I have to say is that my wings weren't bad .. one of the guys with me had what appeared to be day old drums that sat in the fryer bucket all day and then were sauced and placed in the microwave to appear warm and fresh. Our server, Mia, was one of the best I've had anywhere. I forgot what my friend ordered, but ended up taking photos of my order. They have a generous serving of parking spots here, if you are traveling here in your own car or renting one. Not sure about public transportation options here in Meridian, but I got here by a friend who had a rental car, which was nice. Uber and Lyft is at your disposal too, if you need them too. For the most part though, my experience here at Buffalo Wild Wings was good and expected. The food was spot on and the service was good an average. Can't say that it was fantastic, but it wasn't epic either. It was just good and a nice place to eat. If you're ever in the area and don't mind the loud ambiance, consider coming to this Buffalo Wild Wings for your next meal during the weekends.
