The interior is welcoming with long wooden tables and benches. Our kids enjoyed playing some of the free games offered. Our server was very attentive and friendly. Additionally, Mike, who served our food (maybe a manager or owner?) was incredibly kind. We liked the 4 beers from our flight. But the food was the main reason I'd go back. The pimiento grilled cheese sandwich and burger were both so good! If I ever come through Little Rock again, I'd definitely pay another visit.

When you walk inside, it's a bit of a rustic brewery feel. We were seated by the host and we happened to be there on a day they were serving brunch. Unfortunately, our experience was impacted by a large family with several kids which were seated at the same communal table that wasn't big enough to hold the family, which made the experience feel more crowded and distracting than we would have preferred. I ordered the love honey bock which was a full bodied beer flavored with Arkansas honey and was very good. As for the food, I ordered the brisket hash which was extremely dry and had to drown the brisket in salsa to finish it. If I'm in the area I would stop in for beer but would probably pass on brunch.

It was my colleague that commented about their lack of response, before I even mentioned it. When the server arrived, we told him of the "concerns" and he tried to resolve "they were new, blah blah" and while I was ready to leave, opted to give him a chance to change my perspective. We ordered a couple of appetizers and drinks. The drinks were good, the appetizers were good enough. We had the Surf and Turf Queso and Fried Green Tomatoes (very tasty). We decided to end the visit, pay the check and have dinner at another restaurant. I applaud the server for seemingly going to make the hostess/host aware (we saw him talking to them just after we informed him), but I just couldn't shake the experience. When we left, they both gave a warm "have a nice day" - just would have been better feeling the sentiment at the start of the visit. The host/hostess set the tone for your establishment. Make sure that they understand!

The only thing that was not exceptional was the "home fries," which were deep fried instead of grilled and lacked any seasoning or additional ingredients- just cubes and fried. For two people we got out for under $60. My wife had the avocado on toast and, again, everything including the bread felt like it was artisanal. Our server was prompt and polite, checking in on us a few times and asked us about our day. This is our best dining experience over the course of a few days in Little Rock.

It really wasn't that busy, but our server was pretty inattentive. We waited longer than we should have for simple things, and it was hard to get their attention. The food was decent, but my biscuit was basically falling apart the whole time, which made it kind of frustrating to eat. The biggest disappointment was the coffee. It honestly tasted like straight cleaning chemicals -- I took one sip and couldn't drink it after that. Not a terrible experience overall, but definitely not great either. I'd maybe give it another shot, but this visit was just average for me.

Fries are crispy and very light - no grease! I never finished fries and I ate every one. The menu is extensive and interesting. We will be back to try more! Service: It was not crowded so we didn't have to wait. Luke was tending bar and waiting tables and was very friendly and attentive. He seemed interested in knowing we were enjoying our meal and asked a couple of times if we needed anything. Ambiance: It was a cold day and we sat by the window so it was cold at the table. It's a small space but clean and pleasant. The outdoor patio looked like a good place in nice weather to sit and enjoy a drink. Their menu looks great for speciality drinks too!

It looked good so I settled for that. I asked if I could get it without tomato and if I could swap the sauce for the one that came on the chicken sandwich. The server said no to the sauce swap while at the table. I ask for the original sauce to be on the side. Cool no problem. Then he comes back and says the cook said it's too many modifications! I should be able to undress my burger down to meat and cheese without the cook throwing a fit! What if I was allergic? Would there still be pushback about removing tomatoes. And sauce. The burger was served with sauce on the side and no tomatoes. I enjoyed the burger (North Bar Burger). My nephew enjoyed his Crazy Queso Burger. I didn't like the sauce as I thought it was too mustard forward. I ordered an old fashioned that was pretty good as well. Maswell was our server. Service was fine but I wished he'd pointed out the specials when we sat down. NB burger happened to be the special of the day. Parking was easy. There's a covered patio and full bar. Id visit again (we enjoyed our food and drinks) next time I'm in the area but the cooks hissy fit pissed me off. 3.5 stars because of it.
