Lost Forty is a staple outing for me. Whether it is family brunch, entertaining friends from out of town or just a chill afternoon. The food is superb, the beer is FANTASTIC and the service is stellar. Everything on the menu is going to be a good choice. Lost Forty is in an industrial area. In fact, we couldn't find it at first as it blended in for a moment. It does have plenty of parking. The interior is welcoming with long wooden tables and benches. Our kids enjoyed playing some of the free games offered. Our server was very attentive and friendly. Additionally, Mike, who served our food (maybe a manager or owner?) was incredibly kind. We liked the 4 beers from our flight. But the food was the main reason I'd go back. Stopped by Lost Forty brewing on a trip from Texas to North Carolina. When you arrive, there's plenty of parking in the front of the building. When you walk inside, it's a bit of a rustic brewery feel. We were seated by the host and we happened to be there on a day they were serving brunch. Unfortunately, our experience was impacted by a large family with several kids which were seated at the same communal table that wasn't big enough to hold the family, which made the experience feel more crowded and distracting than we would have preferred. I ordered the love honey bock which was a full bodied beer flavored with Arkansas honey and was very good. As for the food, I ordered the brisket hash which was extremely dry and had to drown the brisket in salsa to finish it. If I'm in the area I would stop in for beer but would probably pass on brunch. read more

Did a little brewery crawl around Little Rock and this was our favourite one we went to. Chill, relaxed, easy-going. Good selections of beers, they even had a dark lager. Their Happy Hour selection was good, but we were too early. The pretzel was delicious and well priced. read more

This place is unassuming to the outsiders but the inside was large and comfy. There are three large big screen tvs mounted on the walls to watch games and plenty of seating in the dining area. There's also seating outside with shade. We stopped by here needing dinner and was pleasantly surprised with the nachos. The pastrami grilled cheese didn't have too much taste and when I inquired some salt it made the sandwich better. The bartender was pretty efficient. We didn't talk a lot and they seemed to warm up when their regulars came in. I purchased some stickers and took our left overs to go. read more

My friend and I stopped in here for a couple of beers on a Saturday evening. Our server, Lee, was very welcoming and quickly took our orders. We both got the "Trash Panda" hazy. It was great. Cool place with indoor and outdoor seating. The patio is dog friendly and I sat outside because the weather was nice. I ordered a side salad, which was quite a nice size and the spicy pizza (can't remember the exact name). For dessert, I took the salted pretzel bread pudding back to my hotel. I'm surprised that I haven't already written a review for Lost Forty. I've been coming here for years and it never fails to disappoint. Ive never been a beer person, so sadly, you won't find any beer reviews here. I just love a good brewery, and Lost Forty is definitely a good one. My friends and I came here for brunch on Sunday right when they opened. It was quite cold, but under the heaters on the patio, we had a great time! Everyone loved the brewmosas, per usual. I stuck to my usual of a water, coffee, and mimosa (I'm a beverage girl..). They coffee was surprisingly good, and they had lavender flavor which has always been my favorite, so you bet your ace I put that in both the coffee and the mimosa. In terms of food, the donuts and bacon cinnamon roll are absolute MUST appetizers. I got the spicy chicken and waffles which were fantastic too! The blueberry pancakes smelled divine, though I was too full to try them. The staff are wonderful. The food is great. The patio is perfect for a nice day. 5/5! read more

We stopped in at Lost Forty Brewing yesterday after checking into our hotel. I had a flight of various IPAs and all were tasty. IPAs were mostly tropical hops of various kinds. Our group had chips and cheese dip, a soft pretzel and a BLT. Some folks in our group thought the cheese dip was too spicy but liked the other choices. This place is so disorganized. We sat at the bar and had one flight of beers in 2 hours and no food. The bartender was super sweet. But to have one person waiting on all the bar patrons and pouring the drinks for the entire restaurant?!? Terrible idea. It took 20 minutes to get our flight. Came in from out of state and randomly gave this place a try. My GF had a flight of beers that she enjoyed and I we split both a smash burger and the Cuban. Both were excellent. I am giving a five star review not because of the issues we had... but because of how quick they were to fix it. We ordered a flight, and when that was gone my husband and I each ordered a pint of a beer we had tasted on the flight. Unfortunately, it quickly became apparent one of the beers on the flight had been mislabeled because that is not the beer we received in the pint. Instead of complaining, my hubby bit the bullet and drank it. But then when our food came out, instead of bringing us the two different sandwiches we ordered, they brought us two of the same. When we pointed out the error, they whisked the wrong sandwich away with promise to bring the right one. But because the food is all fresh, that took awhile. When it arrived I was already done with mine and my husband happily ate his. And everything was delicious. So those were the issues we had, but we didn't complain or ask for anything extra. But when the bill came, they had removed my husbands sandwich from the bill. I thought that was very respectful and appreciated that they did that without us asking. read more

Forgot to take a picture of my food before I ate it but I think I have had an item from each category on the menu and have never been disappointed. Their cheese dip and cauliflower wings are my favorite appetizers. Their pizzas are great and you can't go wrong with any of the sandwiches/burgers. The waffle fries are crispy and well seasoned. They have a wide variety of beers and usually have a special cocktail menu that changes. I have never had bad service as the waitstaff are all super friendly. The set up of this restaurant is pretty unique - the inside has four long tables and you'll most likely be sitting with another group (usually with a chair or two between). They do have some smaller tables off to the sides but I have always been at one of the longer tables and it has never bothered me. They also have a great TV set up inside and I have been to watch multiple sporting events. Their patio is very spacious as well. read more

When we first walked in Anna greeted us and let us know there would be a 15 minute wait. She asked if we needed anything, we asked if we could order a beer while we she gave a beer list to review. She brought our beers out and seated us not too long after. Once we seated a server brought a couple of waters to our table. There seemed to be some confusion on who was going to be our server, we heard Anna try to transfer us to another server( Kelly I think, short haired blonde) but it didn't seem like they wanted to take us. Anna ended coming back and taking our order. She was awesome, very sweet and thoughtful. Answered all of the questions we had about the show we were going to later. This is the kind of review update you love to write. In short, much more beer variety (great stuff too), awesome food menu, and expanded/outdoor seating have dramatically improved my opinion of Lost 40 - both personally and as a place to recommend to others. Long version: Lost 40 has done an incredible job of putting cherries on top of what they were already doing well, *and* put in a lot of work to fill in the weaker points. They've already expanded their beer offerings and just keep getting better - the malty dark magic that is the Scotch Ale "Kilt Optional" is actually what finally got me to write this. Kilt Optional is just the thing for colder weather (or hot weather, if you're a summer-stout-drinking-monster like me!), but it's also WAY outside the bounds of what I'd come to expect from Lost 40's beer lineup, and one of many more creative/seasonal things they've been putting out to compliment their classics and broaden their offerings. In addition to the increased beer selection, their food menu is just completely leveled up from when I first reviewed the place. They now have a full menu with a broad selection of real food offerings, all of which I've enjoyed tremendously - the pizza in particular. My favorite thing they've done "recently" though is add the outdoor patio area, which adds a ton of extra space, true outdoor seating, and also offers a more kid-friendly area for families who want to come by. I already liked Lost 40, but now it's comfortably in my top 5 go-out spots in the Little Rock area! read more
