This place is awesome! I've been going to San Diego since I was four years old. My dad moved down here after him and my mom split up and then he took care of my great grandmother who lived in La Jolla and that gigantic apartment building right off of that seal rock. My dad used to live in an apartment right off of the Pacific Beach Bay right down the road from Crown liquors. What I'm trying to say is that I know this area like the back of my hand and I love it down here. And if you're looking for a place that truly embodies, what being in San Diego is all about, the spot that I stayed in is what it's all about! Stay classy homes has classic San Diego vibes houses, and delivers classic San Diego vibes. I was down here saying with my sisters, my family and my cousins because my Dad passed away. We were there for a celebration of life. The house experience that I got with stay classy homes really made the experience shine out as an awesome one. The Neighbourhood was awesome. The house was awesome. The house was clean and accommodating. The host's were also very accommodating. They had pointed out cool spots in the neighborhood to go and visit that were spot on if it was your 1st to your 50th time being in San Diego. We just tried to do the same sort of trip in the Hill country of Texas and it was an absolute nightmare comparatively. Not only on value cause this place is an excellent value. But also because these house rock and some house can just be absolutely horrendous. I stayed at one of the Stay Classy rentals in Oceanside with my family and absolutely loved it! The beds were soft, the showers were hot, and the neighborhood was safe and quiet. There was also a toy closet, beach accessories, and the community was beautiful with two pools to choose from and lots of tropical greenery. Our experience with Stay Classic was a disaster and they did nothing to remedy the situation, follow up with us to explain or compensate us for what happened. We reserved unit G203 in Oceanside, CA with Stay Classy in March of 2025 for a 3 month stay in 2026, Jan 9 through March 29. Stay Classy took our full payment for the unit in November 2025. They confirmed our stay by email on Jan 7, 2026 when we were en route from Minneapolis to Oceanside and when it was two nights before the start of our 3 month stay. On the night before we were to arrive for our stay in Oceanside, we received an email from Craig at Stay Classy saying that they no longer managed the unit and were cancelling our stay and would be refunding our money. Stay Classy did not give us the name of the new management company but we were able to find it on the internet. It turns out that the the new management company took over in April of 2025 and was not told by Stay Classy that they had committed G203 to us for our 3 month stay in 2026. The new management company had already rented our condo Unit G203 to others but worked very hard to find us a place to stay starting the next day. They were able to come up with two units for our three month stay. We have to move mid stay and pay additional funds. We emailed Stay Classy three times asking for an explanation as to how why this happened. We received no response. Bottom line: Stay Classy cannot be trusted. We do not believe a reputable company would treat their guests this way. They booked a unit they no longer managed and did not advise us that they were no longer the managers. They did not advise the new management company of their agreement to rent to us for three months in 2026. We found out the night before we were to arrive in Oceanside that we were without a place to stay. We have incurred additional expenses and have to move mid stay They accepted our payment in full when they no longer managed the unit and kept our money for 6 weeks before refunding it. They never delivered what they promised for property management. Poor communication was a central issue, but as a STR manager the service was poor. Basic services and turn around time were poorly delivered. The software interface "Guesty" is behind the curve. Matt just never showed up, which was a bummer. I had to let them go for poor performance, and they tried to steal the basic rentals back during the transition. The STR management world is competitive, the need for communication, support, and effort are basic table steaks. I would want more for the fees and expenses. Can't recommend them, sorry. read more

Great location. Was a little tricky to find the home though. Was well stocked with plenty of coffee filters (don't buy), coffee pot, several rolls of Toilet paper, paper towels, garbage bags and dish washer detergent. We had to buy wash cloths because there was only one. Home could also use some dish towels for drying hands in the kitchen and oven mitts. The view is amazing. Driveway in the back can be intimidating at first. :) would def stay here again though. You can definitely walk to the beach however the hills walking down and back are pretty steep so suggest a car. Lots to do, see and eat in this area. read more

We really enjoyed our time at the beach house! The host was very responsive when we were arriving and needing some directions. The house was well stocked with all needed supplies. The beds were comfortable, and the layout was perfect for our group of two couples traveling together. We couldn't figure out the fireplace, but the host quickly got a maintenance person there to get it turned on for us and show us what to do. The grounds were beautiful and it was so nice to have the ocean view at an affordable price! We would gladly stay there again. It truly felt like a home away from home! read more

We had an amazing time at the Stay Classy's property at Oceanside. It was so relaxing to stay right next to the ocean. We walked to the pier each day and had a great time with our family exploring Oceanside. Our kids had the best time at the HEATED pool and jacuzzi. Yes, you read correctly, it's not only the jacuzzi, the huge pool at the property is heated as well. The unit itself had very comfortable beds, plenty of towels, and everything you need in the kitchen to cook a good meal for the whole family. We used the kitchen every day and the open concept of the unit allowed us to talk with the whole family while cooking. Two bathrooms were perfect for our extended family and two balconies had great views. We frequently ate lunch on the balcony with the great ocean views. read more

This was an absolute clown show/amateur hour management. They are clearly overstretched and understaffed . They're trying to manage properties in Honolulu without having anyone on site to respond. We let them know on. day one that our shower was not functional wasn't fixed until the night before departure a week later. Also, we were paying for a location that had a pool and when we got there, the pool was completely empty under construction. We were not compensated for the change in anyway. We were not appropriately compensated for all of the time, wasted, trying to get a plumber on site when we should have been enjoying our vacation. We have traveled around the world renting various homes. Would strongly recommend anyone going to Hawaii to look somewhere else. Didn't even bother mentioning the big ball of hair we found in the pillow cover as we were stripping the beds on the way out the door. read more

Steps away from the beach, and very close to a lot of restaurants/bars in the Oceanside area, so their is plenty of stuff to do. We reserved a Stay Classy rental through VRBO, and when we got to the rental, the entire placed had been gutted for renovation. No floors. No cabinets. No toilet. No shower. Just scaffolding, bags of concrete, and power tools. We found out through VRBO (and eventually through Stay Classy's outsourced call center) that Stay Classy had sold the condo two weeks prior but failed to cancel our reservation. All the communications we received from "Matthew" through the VRBO app about our condo reservation were automated, which explains why he still sent us the door code the morning of our arrival, allowing us to walk in to an absolute disaster. The call center assured us they had reached out to management and would let us know as soon as they heard back, "to talk about the next steps." We never heard back from them again, nor did we ever get to speak with "Matthew" or anyone from Stay Classy at all. It was absolutely insulting to hear a call center read off a script that it was "no problem! No problem!" over and over. I would call having vacationers pay you thousands of dollars to stay at a demolished rental property that you don't even own and leaving them stranded on Kauai- a big problem. The call center did process our refund, but we had to DOUBLE our budget in order find a new accommodation with no notice. Thank goodness for VRBO's team helping us out bc Stay Classy was no help whatsoever. 0 stars for ruining the start of our vacation and forcing us to double our budget. read more
