Such a great indoor play area for little kids! Everything is clean! Everyone must take their shoes off. Food is only permitted in the kitchen area. There is hand sanitizer everywhere. Bathrooms are spic and span. The play area consists of an open gym area. Slides of different sizes. A tree house. Lots of bouncy balls. There are also Gymnastic mats of different sizes and shapes. A small rock climbing wall, fun murals and stuffed animals adorn the walls. A great place for little ones to burn some energy during winter months. read more

We recently hosted our daughter's 4th birthday at Whippersnappers. When I tell you they took care of EVERYTHING, I mean literally EVERYTHING. There were three young girls working the party and they were amazing! They interacted so well with the kids and made sure to accommodate all abilities. The activities were age appropriate and switched up long before anyones attention span ran out. The kids had a blast! They did all of the setup, all of the cleanup, and even passed out the food. I absolutely love open play there! I have yet to take a class so I can't review that part. But we've been for a birthday party and the kids all had a blast. Plus they set up and clean up which is worth it from the parents view! I go for open play and bought a package at the beginning of the summer. I went a few times for open play when it said they were open and they werent and they extended my package to acoomodate the misunderstanding. Love the place, love the staff! My daughter has struggled with separation over the years and the staff along with Jen the owner has always nurtured us both to help making drop offs become simpler and smother. Birthday party experiences are above and beyond fun the kids have such a great time. Lastly this is our first time experiencing summer camp and it's been a wonderful experience. First of this review is not about the facility itself, it is more about the ownership. We booked our child birthday party and because if covid-19 the facility is closed, which we understand completely. Unfortunately, Whippersnapper's gym is refusing to return our party deposit. Instead the offer is to use the deposit towards a future party, playdates, or summer camp. That offer would be more appealing if we lived closer to the gym, but we are 30 minutes away. After multiple email attempts to get the deposit back I get radio silence. Bad business on their part. I would think during a pandemic this business would have been more understanding. read more

My daughter MaryJane is 21 months old. She has a blast here. I have met the owner on a couple occasions as my wife normally brings our daughter here. I think the owner is very nurturing, she provides a wonderful environment for the children. I'm happy my wife brings our daughter here. Keep up the great work! Have only been here once, and I gotta say, it's quite different than what I expected. This is quite a drive from me, but for rainy/cold/snowy days, it's not a bad place to bring the kids to let off the energy climbing and sliding and just plain running around and having fun. We only went for open play, but the kids had a great time, and in the end, that's all that really matters. read more

Big Shout Out to Whippersnapper's Play Gym and owner Jen Bates for throwing the BEST party a 6-year old could ever want! She and her team of helpers (including Froggles) keep over 20 kids moving, laughing, singing & happy for over 1.5 hrs while doing all the setup, cleanup & organization of the party. I love taking my toddler twins Hereford open play. It's one of the first places I felt confident taking them without another adult. They love the mini trampolines, slides and playhouse. read more

When Stephanie arrived at 2:15PM to pick up Tristan he was standing in the corner of the fence near the sandbox crying with no adult near him. He ran to the gate when he saw Stephanie at cried I want to go home. His lips were white and also had a cut on his lower lip. She questioned the girls that were there they told her it was from his crying. He was bleeding and obviously sustained some type of injury. They did not give him his juice or attempt to give him his muffins. Nothing was opened in his lunch box except the Doritos. They told Stephanie he had been crying all day. She asked she was not contacted nor his grandfather. This is unacceptable for a 3 year old to endure on his second day away form home. He was neglected all day. We have taken pictures of his injury to his lips. Also his lips were white from dehydration due to your staff not offering him something to drink. It is apparent with his behavior at home this afternoon he is very sad and keeps saying "Mommy no go back not fine". Tristan is a very happy little boy, this bad experience may have scared him. Thank goodness Stephanie came early to check up. You were not there so cannot speak on your staffs behalf. Who was in charge in your absence? I would like to see camera footage of the entire day. I am also demanding a full refund regardless or your refund policy. I will also be contacting the State of CT to file a formal complaint. Children at the age of 3 require attention, care and compassion apparently this is not something you provide at your establishment. This matter is not over. read more

My Kids love this place, and we love the "parents' night out" we drop the kids off for a few hours, we go out to dinner...The kids enjoy themselves and are all tuckered out, fed and ready for bed when you pick them up! It costs way less than getting a babysitter and we are the "heroes" for letting them go to Whippersnappers! win/win! Also a great place for a Birthday Party, anytime of the year! read more

We had my sons 5th birthday party at Whippersnappers and I was beyond happy with how it went. My first reason is how fantastic the staff is. They were helpful and awesome with the kids. It's also super clean too!!! But one of my favorite things about parties at Whippersnappers is you have the entire place to yourself and you are not mixed with other parties or kids. It's completely about your child and his/her friends. Also you basically need to do nothing but show up and take pictures!!!! Thank you Miss Jen and your amazing staff. Whippersnapper's has a new program where you can rent our their gym space for 75 minutes for just members of your household. We did this yesterday and all 3 of my boys had the best time. I had intended the booking to be just for my 5 year old, however when my 10 and 12 year old heard where we were going they decided to come along. They spent the car ride there reminiscing about all of the fun times they have had there in the past in the classes, at open play, and during birthday parties. We arrived and felt completely safe and comfortable with all of the steps and precautions put in place. We were greeted by the owner with a smile that we could hear through her mask and after temperatures were taken we were shown where to put our shoes in their sanitized cubby area and went directly into the gym which had been thoroughly cleaned and disinfected prior to our arrival. Fun music was playing, a door was open for fresh air, and despite the 98 degree weather outside, the gym was cool and comfortable. My older boys set up an obstacle course for my little one that they enjoyed just as much and it was such a pleasure to see them all playing and carefree. Highly recommend making a visit here and enjoying this new opportunity. It truly is a special one. read more

We literally just showed up with juice boxes & cupcakes, and the upbeat & professional staff took care of the rest. After a brief open play session while all the guests arrived, the staff facilitated fun, age-appropriate games & activities. My kids' favorites were the bouncy house & the zip line! Just went to a birthday party there on Sunday...the girls running the party were great and very interactive with the children. The party moved along well and everyone had a great time. I ended up booking a party for our preschool class there and the owner/operator could not have been easier to deal with. Love love love Whippersnappers play gym!!!!! We have had two 3 years old birthday parties here and we couldn't have been more excited and pleased with the parties!!!!!! The staff first of all are the most amazing, gentle, loving girls in the business!!!! Jen (whippersnappers owner) could not be more helpful in the planning and executing a great party!!! Her staff is amazing I hAve never been around a group of girls that truly enjoy and love their job and the kids involved as much as them!!! Abby and Jen are over the top great with the kids!!!! As are ALL the girls !!!! Our boys just adore the attention and fuss they all make over them!! The party itself is awesome!! From a parents point of view it's amazing because they handle everything!! From set up and decorations to making sure all kids no matter ages are enjoying themselves from beginning to end of the party!! From the kids point of view well what kid wouldn't love to be playing from the minute they enter a party til the last goody bag is handed out! They play games that every age and ability can have fun doing!! Also Over the years we have been to countless open plays and they are fantastic!!!!! What's amazing is that all 3 of my boys ages ranging from 1-5 enjoy the gym and its activities!! There's something for all age groups to enjoy!! I can't say enough wonderful things about this kids gym! Jen the owner is truly invested in the development and happiness of your child.
