Used to go to shoot smart to the private lanes but not a big fan of the indoor ranges. They had plenty of open areas for a 25, 50 and higher distance. As well as a handgun section on the opposite side. We didnt have to wait on either side for access to a spot. They were very good amount the gun safety and making sure everyone was responsible with not only the time to change targets but also with making sure people properly were facing their rifles when down not in the wrong directions. This was my worry at a public outdoor range, but they were on top of it and highly appreciate it. Only downside is no FMJ rifle ammo allowed. So you either have to pay a lot for a box through them or stock up prior to. There was a small group of young people trying to one hand shoot to "be cool" which was kind of irritating, more because of the stupidity factor. But most people at least on the rifle side you could tell are gun enthusiasts who care about their shot and their weapon. Definitely my new go-to range.

My brother and I spent a few hours at the Alliance range on Wednesday 6/24 -- we rented a private…read moresuite, so that we could take our time with several firearms, draw from the hip, shoot rapidfire, etc. All of those aspects went off fine. The only compliant, granted a very significant one, was that their Air Conditioning in the private suites was NOT WORKING. There was NO mention of this when we signed in online. Further, NO ONE at the counter mentioned this to either of us when we checked in -- perhaps they thought we might -- somehow‍, not notice, that it was over 100° inside of the private suites/indoors?? When we checked out, I said to my brother "I'm guessing they'll likely 'comp us' for half or maybe all of the range fee (as we bought ammo, targets and supplies too) because of the hours long sweating in the un air-conditioned private suites?" ...But NO, no such accommodation was made. I have to say, THAT was an EXTREMELY POOR CHOICE for Shoot Smart to make. I have been going to that range for many years -- and yes, they knew it at the time. However, I may very well NOT be going back.

I promise you walk in and do a price check and they have the best prices. Very easy parking in this area, it is also next to a pawnshop. They seem to have a very loyal client base, they seem to know a lot of people by first name. It was busy when we came in but it doesn't mean that we weren't helped. Chris is so nice and he really knows his stuff and we could definitely feel his passion. We will definitely be back! I think what makes me most excited to go to Alpine is taking advantage of the clay shooting range. You do have to buy their in house clays but definitely nice to be able to do while already shooting. Compared to other ranges Alpine allows you to freely move and touch each part of the range for a very affordable price of $20 and some change. If you're not wanting to shoot high valued ammo they have ammo dispensers that you can buy per pound. With a wide selection of guns to rent and sale, & awesome products to purchase. Drive through the blue gate to the private parking lot. Once you enter, you're greeted by one of the seasoned and knowledgeable staff members. You can tell that they're used to seeing regulars, but they'll "gun talk" with you, until you're blue in the face if you want. Pricing is much fairer here than other places (see pic). I brought my own guns and ammunition to shoot, but they have a nice selection of firearms to rent if you aren't a connoisseur ;) There's ear covers and goggles (complimentary and required) if you did not bring your own. It is a pretty "tight" place, but the stalls (4/per room) are spacious enough to shoot and reload. I love the digital target screen that allows you to adjust the distance of your target (see pic). Minus the men folk using the ladies room (put the seat down plz -_- lol ). This place is very solid.
