The interior is chic but also cozy, and the other stylists were super helpful and welcoming when I arrived. Kelsey is the real deal though! She's great at listening to everything you want and find a way to make it work. She's the only one I would trust with color on my hair and knows how to take out all the extra weight in my hair without making it look over done. read more

I guess they don't want my business. Twice I went on their website to book which I thought was very convenient. But when the day of the appointments would come I would never receive confirmation so I would start calling. No one ever returned my phone calls even though I left messages. The second time I even went to the salon and knocked on the door. The girl inside didn't let me in. I just moved to Austin and was looking for a new hairstylist. I guess I will keep looking elsewhere. And are they called Wyld or Volume Salon? Very confusing :( read more

I came to Volume Salon to transform myself into a new person. Boy was I not only treating with care and love once I walked into the door. Carly did an amazing job with my hair which can be difficult by having curly hair. She already had a game plan in mind of what she wanted to do with my hair and color. Which was great because I had no clue what I wanted. She recommend amazing Kevin Murphy product to use too. I walked out of the salon today feeling like a million bucks. Today was my first visit and I selected Sarrah as my stylist!!!! She was wonder and so easy to chat with. I showed her a picture of the haircut I wanted and she executed it perfectly!! My husband said it was my best haircut yet!! Sarrah is professional, so nice and I was very happy I decided to use her services. I highly recommend her and I'm so glad I found a stylist I can continue to use for future haircuts/color. The salon itself is so cute and I love the decor. I hate leaving bad reviews for ANY business. Pros: This salon is so creatively put together and cozy. I'm not sure who the stylist was that helped me before the stylist for my daughter arrived was, but she had the best personality and was so incredibly great to us. This is my full reason for 2 stars. Cons: I bought a Groupon for Carly to do my daughter's graduation haircut, and it was honestly a complete waste of money. I know what you're thinking. I'm just some cheap, unpleasable person, but the Groupon was $40 and I tipped $20, which made it a $60 haircut. Also, her style seat app charged me an additional $70 after we left. You have to input credit card information in order to make an appointment on her website. More cons: She just seemed bored and uninterested while cuting her hair. Just going through the motions. My daughter honestly looked basically the same when we left. When I asked for an alteration at the end, I could tell it really bothered her for me to ask, so I just decided that it wasn't worth effort. Super disapointed. I think that an adult client would maybe have better results here. I'm not a helicopter mom who stares at the hairstylist throughout the entirity of a haircut. Got my hair cut and colored with Carly. It was an amazing experience!! The salon is so nice and intimate (not small, just not crowded/filled with other customers). It felt like my own private salon which after years of going to Avedas in NYC that were packed with ppl, that was a nice new feeling! My haircut itself came out great, I love it! Jessica did such a great job with my lash lift and tint! It's been 3 or 4 weeks since my service and my lashes are still dark and curly. Volume Salon is a super cute studio salon (though I wish the sign out front was bigger, I missed it the first time). Jessica offered me something to drink and she then explained the whole process and asked if I had any questions. I've had an eyelash lift/tint done at another salon and that place didn't explain to me how they would do it before we started the procedure, so I really appreciated the fact that Jessica did, even though I'd had a lash lift before. She made me feel very comfortable and I loved the music she had playing! The process took about an hour but I was so comfortable laying there, it felt like only 20 minutes. I was referred here by a friend and came recently for a full set. The process was about 2.5 hours (my ADD couldn't handle this!!!) and the special price was $99. We had a consultation in the beginning and discussed what I wanted and then got started. After we were done I mentioned I wanted more curl and length on the outside and inside areas of my eyes but Jessica said the hairs were too short and thin for this. I totally appreciate her honesty and wanting to make them safe and durable but they didn't look right. I feel like they were too thin and long and I would have liked more of a curl and dramatic look. No one even noticed I got them done and after all that time and money I wish they whole have been more noticeable. She was very sweet but not my style of lashes. read more

In regards to the lash perm and tint service: Goodness, this place was so wonderful. I am officially hooked. I had generally decent lashes before (with mascara they were noticeable, but nothing to write home about), and didn't want to do extensions because of the price, upkeep, and concern for the long term affects on my natural lashes. As soon as I walk in the calm, cool, and collected girl at the front desk seated me, and let me know that my appointment would be on time (as I showed up quite early). She asked me if I'd like a refreshment, and poured me some wine when requested. Ashley was ready right on time, and was super friendly. When I was told I couldn't keep my contacts in I slightly panicked, but Volume Salon totally came threw with containers and solution for my contacts! So awesome! Ashley explained to me what she was going to do, she let me get all cozy, and I basically slept on and off until she was done. AND OMG WHEN SHE WAS DONE. My lashes were the lashes the good Lord should've given me! Instead He sent me to Ashley. The space is beautifully decorated with a lot of light. The decor is modern and clean but with feminine touches. The waiting area is fully stocked with many beverages. There is a lot of parking. All of the stylists I've interacted with are friendly and kind. Volume also offers a range of beauty services, which I like because I can get a lot done to treat myself without having to go to several different places. It's also super convenient to be able to book online with the stylist you prefer. I went today to get a lash lift and tint with my Groupon voucher. Service was great today,but leading up to my appointment I kept trying to call and get some questions answered and no one would pick up. Ashley did my lashes and they definitely look "lifted" but not as curled as I thought they would be. She's was great and the process was very relaxing, but I think instead of saying I wanted a big curl I should've said tight curl? It looks like they're just curled at the base of my lashes and the rest is just straight. For $55 I'm not terribly disappointed, just not exactly what I was hoping to get out of it. read more

Ashley has been doing eyelashes for 10+ years and it shows. Not only is she amazing at what she does but she's honest and has a good eye so that the lashes she applies compliments the shape of your eyes.
