    Left arm

I stayed one night, June 11, 2025. The next day, by the time I got home I noticed red bumps on my arms and legs. They were in clusters. Every morning I would wake up with a new cluster. I wasn't sure what the bumps were from so I went to see a doctor on Monday June 16th after more bumps started to appear and the itching became unbearable. The doctor diagnosed me with BED BUG BITES! I had never experienced bed bugs before. After being diagnosed, I did some research online and all the images I found were exactly what I was seeing all over my body, a week later. The doctor also informed me that the bumps can continue to show up even 2 weeks after my exposure. I am miserable. The itching is HORRIBLE. I can't sleep. I am anxious about sleeping in any bed now. I had to treat my home as a precautionary measure. I was given a pill and a topical medication. I cannot recommend this property because from what I discovered, getting rid of bed bug infestations is nearly impossible. The photos are of my arms and legs, taken one week after my stay at the property.

Sorry I didn't do this sooner. Staybridges refunded 1/2 of our stay. The email they sent was very good. All is good.

This will be top of my list to recommend to friends and family when they need a place to stay locally. I had to evacuate from a fire in the next town over at midnight. Night manager Katrin was welcoming and kind to me, and got me checked in quickly. The room smelled so fresh and clean, but without obnoxious freshener spray smell that hotels sometimes have. This is clearly a well-maintained Marriott property. Continental breakfast is available as well as a 24 hr coffee bar. Best of all, it's almost impossible for me to find beds that are this comfortable in any hotel. The mattresses were soft but supportive and really contributed to a good nights sleep. They also have an indoor pool. Overall, so many amenities! Parking might get a little tight, but the hotel was almost booked out and I managed to find a close spot. If you are traveling with a lot of family or luggage, definitely drop everyone off with bags at the check-in roundabout and ask for bell service. Another thing that stood out: it was really, really quiet. Hard if not impossible to find in a centrally located hotel. I'm truly tickled to find such a gem of a hotel within 30 minutes. Unfortunately this is not the first nor the last time I will need to evacuate from wild fire, and this way a comfy and peaceful spot to land.

Pimps in the middle of the road even. I had heard Stockton could be a little rough, but those four or five blocks were *bad*. The wife was a little freaked, and she spent years living in Oakland. Oh. Then there is check-in. The tall skinny white girl at the counter rattled off in near-monotone the important items... without taking a breath. She wants me to do one thing, then immediately starts in on the next bit and gets condescending with me when I explain that I am neurodivergent, and if she could please slow down, I might not get overwhelmed and have a meltdown, because I just spent an ungodly number of hours behind the wheel in a very tense atmosphere due mostly to crappy roads and scary drivers, and now a crappy neighborhood in an overpriced crappy hotel. Not to say it isn't beautiful; it is. Great outdoor seating area. Phenomenal patio furniture arranged around fire pits and with industrial strength umbrella stands for when the sun gets too hot. Nice pool area. Outdoor pool table. Etc. Nice? Very. And clean too. But don't look out into the water at the edge of the property. The bay, or lagoon, whatever it is, is reflective with a rainbow of oil slicks and garbage floating on the surface, collecting along the rocks at the edge. It's disgusting. The room we had was on the second floor. Would have preferred a ground floor due to having a dog, but we instead ended up what felt like miles from the elevator in a room with a lovely view of the HVAC system, which managed to wake me every hour on the hour beginning at 2am. Not a happy camper. Also, the hallway temperature on floor 2 was *really* warm. Not only am I having to lug everything to the second floor and miles down a side wing, but every time the dog needs to potty, it means I am carrying her as she is old, with a heavy fur coat, and can't handle walking in the heat. She also just has a hard time because she has a pinched nerve making her gait difficult. All things that I mentioned the following morning and was told glibly, "you could have asked for another room." Like somehow it's my fault you put me in crappy room, as far away from any amenities or doggy areas as possible and where the A/C that somehow doesn't work in the floor hallways manages to keep me up all night as it regularly turns on and off. I expect my host to know the hotel well enough that rooms are recommended based on guest needs. I shouldn't have to do your work for you. You should have known that is a crap room, to be filled as a last resort, and definitely not for older people with older pets. And the hotel was virtually empty. And I am most certainly not going to ask for a new room at 3am so I can pack everything up including the dog and her gear to a new room when I am only staying one night. The final B.S. was served up the following morning. We needed to transport our gear to the car, but there weren't any luggage carts available. When asked, the same receptionist said they were all in use, and I would just have to wait. Nearly 30 minutes later, I had to carry everything down manually. Just me, traveling with an elderly dog and a handicapped partner. And the staff just watched me struggle. The ONLY thing I can honestly recommend at this hotel, and its only redeeming value IMHO, is the restaurant. Staff were incredible, kind, happy, and the steak was the best thing about the whole stay. Can't speak to ambiance as we ordered room service, but the professionalism and kindness of our server was very appreciated. This was the most expensive night we had on a trip with nine other hotel stays, and it was by far the worst. Very disappointing. Two stars. Would have been one if not for the spectacular room service meal.

We had a King Suite, which was very roomy. They were in the process of shampooing the carpets & there was a bit of a snafu when we arrived at our room - the door was ajar and tables were piled onto furniture. That was quickly straightened out. We did discover our phone was dead & the shower curtain bar was loose. The bed was comfortable & they had a full, cooked breakfast available. The staff were friendly & helpful. We will definitely return.

This property seemed to have the least negative reviews and reported issues. Booked. Check in was super easy - they had fruit infused water which is also ways a plus for me. I went up and checked the room first, looked fine at first look. So we proceeded to wipe down everything and get settled. Only after doing so do I see something sticking out from under my bed. I raise the skirt and my stomach still turns but there was a tampon!!!!! It was used but not bloody or you'd still hear my screams. I had to take a min like wtaf is this?! What kind of person pulls one out and doesn't immediately dispose of it. But also how tf did housekeeping miss it?! Maybe some woman didn't leave it and it fell out of housekeepings bag. Either way flipping disgusting. Ended up calling and was offered an apology and to switch rooms or have it cleaned. We deliberated and had already had a full day so we said come clean it. After tampon gate my mom wanted to clean her bag out and watch tv at the table. Issue is when you rotate the tv, it turns off. Again I call, this time I got questioned as to why I'd want to turn the tv!! Are you kidding me?! Just fix it!! I left and my mom used the pool and hot tub, she found them refreshing. Both the pool and the gym appeared really nice and clean. I never had time to use either but I'm glad she enjoyed it. The iron wasn't great. The heat was inconsistent. Turned it up and burned a hole in my shirt. Not necessarily blaming them just something else to add to the list. The light in the hallway flickered on and off during the night so that's lovely. The bathroom had patches of wallpaper snapped on in various places. There was random hairs about that weren't ours. Stray hairs freak me tf out. They have Dove products which is fine, I don't use otc soaps and things but can understand how it's nice for some. Breakfast had a lot of options, was well manned and clean. Checkout was noon but I got an extra couple hours due to aforementioned issues. That helped us out. My mom chilled in the dining area which is clean, and I was able to finish my last few things I needed to do. So hopefully my review helps understand why I'm torn. My friend gets rooms at cache creek and offered me one, next time I'll probably take him up on it and make the drive.

But for only 70 bucks a night after taxes through hotels.com, I wasn't complaining a bit. The gentleman that checked me in was polite. It's definitely an older property, but it was absolutely spotless. You can tell the place has been refurbished, and they did a good job with it The room was very large. The bathroom was clean, there was a decent sized TV with a good picture that got Dish Network, there were plenty of plugs to charge my gear, The Wi-Fi was a good speed, there was a large fridge as well as a microwave in the room, overall, it was very good. The bed was a bit firm for my personal taste, but I realize that everybody is different. They do have coffee in the morning, but there is no breakfast served. For this price, I didn't expect there to be. But again, that's OK. Overall, a decent night. I would stay here again. Thank you.
