I find it interesting that the negative Yelp reviews for this business are hidden at the bottom. Regardless, I had been using StayGreen for years, but finally terminated the relationship. Their after sale customer service might be one of the worst I have ever experienced and their prices continue to rise. Owner of the business is a no-show when emailed and the office manager (Colleen) tells you one thing on the phone, then never follows through. This business is all about the money and not customer needs - which may work for you, but I would rather work with someone that values my needs and time. StayGreen used to be the household name in the area, but there are now plenty of quality choices. I would not recommend StayGreen. read more

This company installed a sprinkler system at my home. They placed sprinkler heads on my neighbor's property. I had them come back to move the sprinkler heads on my property and they billed me to fix their mistake. What company does that? Would not recommend them to anyone. read more

I was referred to Stay Green by Simply Safer, who treats me lawn, for the install of a sprinkler system. They were very professional and competitive with their quote. I chose them because they were recommended but also because their business has been in the area for many years. The install was booked and the crew arrived exactly as agreed upon. We had the entire yard done and it took several hours to complete. They never stopped or left the site until it was completed. When it was done the project manager took the time to explain everything to us and show us how to operate the system. I couldn't be happier with this company and the system and wouldn't hesitate to refer them to others. read more

After reading other reviews around the internet, I now know my experience with this company is par for the course. The office staff is extremely rude and unprofessional. Their worker never showed up to the first appointment and when I called to reschedule the second appointment the woman snapped that they had no more availability and that I'd need to find another company and hung up on me. Terrible service. They winterized the system only to blow two of my control valves. The service person was frustrated since I wasn't following his description and became confrontational and left. Stay Green Irrigation is a wonderful company to fill your irrigation needs. I can't say enough about how friendly the women are who book your appointments. They do their best to accommodate your needs and will go the extra mile to make it work if a conflict arises. Chuck who took care of installing the irrigation system in my lawn is an wonderful person and very knowledgeable about irrigation system. Chuck is friendly and very helpful if needs arise. They will also make notes at the end of the season if need be on any adjustments that should be made and then follow through on this when the season opens. Cost of installing the irrigation system was almost 30% cheaper compared to other irrigation companies and quality of work was amazing. I would strongly recommend to try Stay green whoever is planning to install an irrigation system. read more

Started off strong with the installation. Installers worked hard installing the lines and sprinklers. I was left with nasty rock filled divits and 2 cut power lines. They did fix the power lines but I had to pay to have loam brought in and landscapers had to rake out all of the rocks that were brought up by the machine that installed the lines as well as fill the digits with loam. This install was done in the fall with the understanding that once my well was installed they would return in the spring to finalize the installation. The well was installed and they were notified in late March that I was ready for final install. At that point they didn't even give me a date for when the could do it. After repeated calls I finally received a date of May 10th for "spring startup" from Colleen on 4/19 via text. I then emailed Chuck Shumila to let him know exactly what was left to be done with the system right down to the parts that he would need along with photos in order to ensure there are no issues. Chuck even came out to personally look at what needed to be done a week in advance. May 10th comes around and what do you know the left hand is clearly not speaking with the right hand and they have a startup team scheduled to come out but no plumber available to tie in the system so now it has to be rescheduled again!! The internal disorganization of this company is absurd! Do yourself a huge favor and spend a few more dollars and go with Lisco!! read more

This company billed me for irrigation blow out. However, I never engaged them to do so. My system had already been blown out by another service provider, therefore there was no water in the system. As many of you know, this can cause serious damage to a system as the hot compressed air can melt the pipes and sprinkler heads etc. Ths company either committed fraud (did not perform the service) or were grossly negligent. In the event they perfomed the service they would be grossly negligent since a critical component of this service invovles surveying the water output from the system. With no water output, any other technition would have immediately stopped service. I called the company to complain. Did not receive a call back. I called again and spoke to someone who identified herself as a manager. She said that she removed the charge, though you should note that she didnt call me back to inform be of this. I requested an updated invoice showing the removal of the charge and she refused to produce one citing technical difficulties. Fraud or gross negligence. Either event represents horrible business practice. Do not hire them! There are plenty of irrigation service providers. read more

I had StayGreen install my first irrigation system about ten years ago, they installed a great system and it was very competitively priced. I have since moved and they service and maintain the system at my new place. I have recommended them to friends and they have all been happy. When you call them for a quote Paul the owner comes out, is very professional, gives you a competitive quote. The install is done quickly and painlessly, they show you how to use the system and they help you out afterwards if needed. They're a registered Rainbird dealer and install the best equipment, not a fly by night that puts whatever units are on sale at Lowes. Highly recommend. read more

Crazy expensive, incredibly rude, and their estimates are always low-balled! I've used them twice (once to install a sprinkler system and again when a landscaper broke a pipe that needed replacement) and both times the actual invoice was over 100% higher than the "verbal" estimate (good luck getting anything in writing). The quality of the work is good, however, not worth the price paid. They charge around $100/hr for labor plus parts and materials. Plus they will always round UP to the next hour. To fix the broken pipe they took 1hr and 10min, however, I was billed for 2 whole hours. When I challenged this, the owner (Paul Parker) was incredibly rude and aggressive and told me that the price included the 30+min it took them to travel to my house. I gave them 2 stars bc he did knock off $50 of the final invoice, although I had to go through an unnecessary argument. Finally, you are NOT done once the system is installed. Expect to pay close to $200/year if you want them to open your lines in the spring, pay an unnecessary visit to do "maintenance" during the summer, and then a final visit in the fall to blow out the lines. There is no picking and choosing. Its all or nothing. There are many other professional and veteran sprinkler companies out there. Some may be just like these guys, however, probably worth going with some one else. read more
