It was my first time using the projects feature on Yelp and within the same day Nelson reached out and we scheduled for him to come by 3 days later to give me a quote. He was very easy to talk to and professional. In addition, I appreciated that he gave me real advice and ideas, not ones that would benefit his pockets but rather ones that aligned with my vision and my budget too. His crew came by about a week and a half later on a Tuesday afternoon, and by Friday evening they were finished (one day was too rainy for them to work). The outcome was better than I could've imagined it and I could really tell that Nelson and his team listened to what I wanted done. I wish I had a before picture so you could see the transformation. The price was more than fair and the guys did a great job, but what really impressed me is that they were running late due to a job taking longer than expected. To fix it , I said no way it's under warranty you have to fix it, after that it all began with the lies to get out of repairing it by saying he went out of business when I told him he was a liar he said he was going through a bad divorce and he was filing for chapter 11 all of these lies to get out of doing what he promised to fix and the worst of it I had someone call to get a price for a driveway and they said when would like it done, how's that for someone who is out of business. So check this out before you hire him. He is not a man of his word. He has not responded to the BBB or myself to repair the situation.

I mentioned the need for a backhoe to dig out the buried organic material(dumped leaves). Their response was "we don't have one". In short stay away, their local TV adds are nothing like our eerience. Something is going on their father/sons ownership of the company. They are due 9/19/25 to come back with a complete new driveway, no charge! We will see. I will post update. Update, successful resolution. The sons were honest and apologetic about the delays. Completed sink hole remedy, down the road well see how it holds up. Offered to return at no charge if needed. Give them a shot, appears sons have taken over operations.

I ended up choosing them bc they are a "one stop" shop - I didn't want to have to book a bunch of different contractors for what I wanted done. They started on a Monday and were done by Thursday end of day. They are the hardest workers Ive ever seen. They worked from 9am until, literally, the last cast of sunlight. I'm kind of a pain in azz and Juan handled me and my random text messages/questions quickly. His cost estimate was on point as well. They cleaned up after themselves and were great all around. I have them booked to come back and do the patio and another fence along the driveway. After a…read moredicey quoting process whereby Kurt Wilcox refused to answer my calls or texts, he sent his crew of workers to my house unannounced without providing me any written quote. Kurt then sprayed my yard with a very skimpy coating of hrdyoseed, and, when questioned on the bare spots, he stated it would grow just fine. He also said he would come back to add more seed to those areas, which he never did. See photos for theee weeks post spray. Bare spots galore. And when I called to ask him to fix those bare spots, he cursed me out, saying, "quit your bitching". Who talks to their customers like that?! I watered this everyday with a timer and multiple sprinklers. I even over-seeded with my own seed to make up for this sh*t job.
