MAN ILL TELL YA IT TOOK 20 MINUTES TO GET A SHAKE DIDN'T IT??????? Wow! What a nightmare!!! Also the shake was below bad. Keep in mind I ordered a Reese's shake.... Cherry had a gnat on it. And the shake had a banana in it.

Steak'n Shake didn't advertised hours of operation with signs during COVID near me. You need to check with your local restaurant to find out hours. The one in Grove City is drive thru only until midnight. Lobby is closed and lights are off in lobby which makes it appear closed but drive thru is open and curbside pickup available. They prefer contactless payment if possible. They offer some new combo items. I bought the $4 double steak burger and shake. The shake is very small, chocolate and vanilla flavors only I think. Steak burger is regular size, cooked well as always. I love the steakburgers. Staff is friendly and answered my questions. Still one of my favorite burger restaurants.

Great burgers and shakes mostly good service. Prices are very reasonable. Would go again but not at this location . Bathrooms were dirty and no paper towels. I told one of the servers and she said no one cleans them and there are never paper towels.

Classic double steak burger; or as my nephew calls it, a "crabby patty" lol

I have been coming to this Steak N Shake for almost ten years since my sister lives in Grove City and now has 4 little kiddoes all under the age of ten. For whatever reason (probably the shakes), my nieces and nephews love coming here, so anytime Auntie wants to get dinner with them on a Saturday night, this is often where they choose. I don't think my sister minds either since kids eat free with the purchase of an adult entree (2 kids meals per 1 adult entree). I've had good visits here and bad visits. For the most part, we always get seated relatively quickly. I don't ever remember waiting more than 10 mins for a table. The biggest thing we've had issues with in the past though is the service. I remember one time we got seated and I was practically begging my sister to leave because I was starving and we had been seated almost 20 mins with no one coming to our table. However, on the flip side, our most recent visit was pleasant. We got seated right away and our server was nice and friendly. We had no issues at all with the pace of the service or items coming out. I usually always get a double steakburger and a large fry. The food here typically never disappoints and I've never had issues with the taste or temperature of the food (however, sometimes shakes take quite awhile to come out). All told, I will continue to go here with my sister and the kids as much as they want. I think the key is to ensure you're not starving when you go in since they can take awhile at times. However, if the service continues to be what it was on our most recent visit, I would consider shifting this to a 4-star rating.

Ordering from a kiosk is not what I prefer, but the food was as good as we expected from any Steak and Shake.

BaldWhiteGuy Reviews…read more https://www.facebook.com/share/p/1B3pXxs7fM/ So there I was... headed toward the chaos Blue Suede vortex known as the Ohio FFA at the Ohio Expo Center & State Fairgrounds. Needed lunch and thought about North High Street, but was not already mentally preparing to fight for parking like it's a Black Friday sale in 2003. Audible called. Swung into Grove City instead. Smart move. Possibly my best decision since I stopped trusting gas station hotdogs. After some extensive research (opened Yelp Columbus judged harshly, moved on), I had three requirements: 1. Not a cookie-cutter chain 2. Somewhere new 3. A menu that wouldn't trigger "I don't see anything I like" syndrome Enter: Broadway Plates & Pints 4008 Broadway, Grove City Grove City is that sweet spot... close enough to Columbus to feel alive, but still has that "people wave at you for no reason" energy. Parked on the street like a rookie, only to later discover there's parking behind everything. If you can't find a spot, just check the rear. Yes, I said it. Walked in, grabbed a seat. Smaller place, but in a good way. Elevated tables, bar seating, normal tables for us normal-ish folks. Big windows for prime people-watching. My dimpled sidekick even got a wave from a random passerby. #Friendly #ShesGotFans Then... plot twist... Cleveland Ketchup Company Ketchup sitting on the table. Didn't even know ketchup could have a hometown. #OH.. All-natural, Ohio-made, no junk. And yeah... it's actually really good. The Bald Bunch supports local, even if it's tomatoes living their best life. Check Cleveland Ketchup Company out. They have plenty of locally sourced condiment options. #supportlocal Server Emma B rolls up, keeps it simple. Water and a Michelob ULTRA for me. Because hydration matters... and so does survival. We were starving, so appetizer time: Fried Mozzarella Triangles Hot, crispy, did the job. Not life-changing, not disappointing. The Toyota Camry of appetizers. Reliable. Gets you where you need to go. Now the menu... solid lineup. Burgers, wings, calzones, sandwiches, enough options to make commitment issues flare up. I was bouncing between a calzone, Italian sub, or burger... Then I saw it... THE KRAKEN And listen... you don't order The Kraken. You summon it. This thing shows up like it just crawled out of the Atlantic looking for revenge: * THREE patties (because one or two is for amateurs) * Bacon * American cheese * Caramelized onions * Onion ring * Steak aioli * Brioche bun * AND a honey butter pretzel sitting on top like a crown Just in case was not already enough calories. This wasn't lunch. This was a full-contact event. Immediately ate the onion ring and honey butter pretzel solo like a savage. Then went to work. Multiple napkins required. Not first-date safe. Not job interview safe. Possibly not OSHA approved. But man... it was GOOD. Patties cooked right. Bacon had that perfect bite. Aioli and onions brought it all together like a greasy symphony. Left full... borderline questioning life choices... but zero regrets. Fries? Solid. Pretzel Topper? Sneaky good. Honestly might go back just for those. Service? Emma B crushed it. Drinks stayed filled, no disappearing act, no "I'll be right back" and then vanishing into another dimension. Now... let's talk price. $54.25 for lunch. Look... I get it. Everything costs more now. But I'm still gonna complain about it like it's my full-time job. Either prices come down or someone needs to give me a raise. Preferably both. And one more thing... Beer was cold. BUT NOT IN A FROSTED MUG. Unacceptable. Somewhere, Congress is wasting time when they could be solving real issues like this. Draft beer should never warm up mid-drink. That's just science. Final Rating: ‍‍‍‍ - 4 out of 5 Bald Heads Pros: * Parking (once you stop ignoring the back lot like I did) * Great people-watching windows * Filling, legit good food * Friendly, attentive staff Cons: * No frosted mugs (we can fix this, I believe in you) * Prices... but also, apparently I just complain now #OldMan If you're cruising through Grove City and want solid food, a relaxed vibe, and a burger that might require a waiver... this is your spot. And - order some Ohio Condiments at Cleveland Ketchup Company. #FreeShipping #SupportLocal #BaldApproved #ReleaseTheKraken

The first few times we had poor experiences because upon entering the store, which is never busy, going to the pickup area and giving our name.....that is when they start making our food and it takes an insanely long time. People would come in, order their food at the counter and leave before we had our food that we preordered. Very frustrating! Another time we ordered a milkshake and apparently only one person there is in charge of milkshakes. They were also handling the cash register so it took them at least 15 minutes to get around to making our shake. With all of that said, we have finally cracked the code of ordering burgers with Five Guys on the app. Once we place our order, they have a box that says "Let us know when you're on your way." You have to click that box and then they start your food! I felt like Indiana Jones finding a long lost treasure when we walked in and out of the store within 30 seconds!! These guys are quite expensive, but I have to say, best burgers out there. I'm not a fan of their fries and I've been mentally damaged after waiting on that milkshake for so long, so I won't be ordered another one of those either. But the burgers....WOW. And their restaurant is adorable. It's cheerful and bright with a nice sized lobby. And you can watch them make your food as well, which is nice. We will return again!!

The joint is set up to look like a sit down restaurant but no table service. You pick up at the counter but you are still prompted for a tip. Don't expect to sit at a clean table either even though there is plenty of help there. When you order online, you can give an expected time, which I did - 3:30. I was running early so I used the app to tell them that I was on my way and then tapped on "I'm Here" when I arrived. It still wasn't ready until 3:30 so I guess it doesn't matter if you tell them you are on your way. While waiting, I ordered a $7 milkshake. It was a mix, not real ice cream, so I have no idea why they think it's worth $7 - it wasn't. The burgers are large and there's two on the bun. I sat down and ate one there. It leaked dramatically - I think because the veggies that came on it were so wet. Otherwise it tasted ok. But is it worth over $10? No. And because I think everything there is still so overpriced, I probably won't be back. The workers seem nice enough.

The beauty of a Saturday afternoon is there were sports on and TVs hanging on the walls. That made the wait easy. Boy do they know their stuff bc it was pretty much one hour to the minute when they called our name and escorted us to our table. We sat in a booth and took in on the collection of various items around the bar that have been gathered through the years and had some laughs at some of it. It was almost like a fun game of eye spy! They came to take our drink order and by the time they returned we were ready to order. We chatted for a bit and our food came out in what seemed to be a good time. I ordered the Patty Melt with onion straws. My husband got the Thurman Burger. We were surprised by its size when they came carrying it out to our table. Believe it or not he ate every single bite. Said it was delicious. Mine was equally as delicious. Maybe not quite as big but that was fine by me. I actually quite enjoyed that they served the 1000 island on the side. It made it way easier to eat. The cheese was nice and gooey. Just perfect. The onion straws were good too. I shared those with my husband. They were actually just as good on their own as they were dipped in any kind of sauce. That's big coming from me bc I love dipping! We got a box for our leftovers and headed out happy with a great first time experience here.
