Initial meeting - After calling a company who must have had Calvin Harris djing for him with his rates We found Ernest and realized his rates were right in our budget! both my fiance and I live in Virginia but we got married in New Jersey. So we didn't have a lot of free time to set up meetings. Ernest scheduled on the exact day we were going to be in town and was a pleasure to have lunch with. Immediately we knew we wanted to use him. Songs and song choices- my fiance and I delayed getting this to them until about a week before the wedding. To make it even worse we sent them about 10 songs and the wedding party / first dance songs.. Never once did he get upset, check in on us, or say he couldn't do anything. It was all met with a "great or no problem" in fact he even took my call on a random Tuesday night because we had no idea how to do the scheduling. He helped with all of that!!!! Wedding- well let's just say that everyone danced their booties off!!! With a very diverse family including kids he managed to work in poppy songs for the kids, 60's & 70's songs for the adults, dance/ rap for us and our friends.. We got compliments on how great of a job they did. Keep in mind that 10 song list I sent was done so he knew what type of music we wanted to listen to. At 10 songs it's hard to fill 3 hours of dancing and Ernest picked songs that blended perfect and everyone enjoyed. If you've made it this far reading, thank you! The roof was dimly lit and we still got great shots from Mike and his assistant. Throughout the evening, Mike was bouncing around all over the place, taking great shots without posing our guests, exactly what we wanted. He captured some of our most intimate moments as well, such as getting dressed, pre-ceremony toasts, etc.. At one point, my Wife and I were up on stage about to cut the cake and we realized that we had never gone over what to do here. We only knew what to do from movies we had seen. We didnt know if we were supposed to cut, then toast, both cut, and eat right away, etc... Mike was right there and he was able to help us out and everything was cool. He is easy to work with, communicative, creative, reasonable on costs and most importantly, turned out some great shots for our wedding.

We also had requested to take some outdoor photos during the middle of day which would have been a challenge given the harsh light, but she found good spots with sufficient shade to make it work!
