Let me tell you how picky I am about hiring a mechanic for my car....... Being a female that grew up in a power equipment business, has a class A license, I am familiar with my vehicle. Believe me when I say, I've had my share of nightmares, just trying to get my car inspected. This place I found, I seriously wanted to hug each person there! They were courteous, professional and knew what they were doing. They were very busy, and I can see why, other shops should visit this place and see how a successful honest shop is run. This shop is fantastic and takes good care of our Veterans. Came in here to do an enhanced safety inspection at the last minute. No one else in three counties would squeeze me in to do the enhanced inspection. I needed it done ASAP for a personal matter. Steffy's stepped up and got it done. I'm very thankful to Jim and Kirby for getting this done on short notice and quickly. I highly recommend this shop to anyone looking for a good garage they can depend on. These people are good honest people with a customer focused mentality. When you call them, they are very customer centric and you can tell just by the respect they provide on the phone. Steffy's Garage has always been good to me. They've installed adaptive driving controls for me. They've saved my wife and I some cash compared to dealer estimates for necessary car work. Their prices have seemed fair for basic routine auto service work. I hate to pay for car service but Steffy's is the best I've found . . . I went to Steffys to have them install a left foot accelerator for me, one of few places in the area who are certified to do that. They also did an inspection/emissions for me while the car was there. Overall the job took 3 hours, and I am 100% satisfied with the job. Pedal install was clean and very well done, and the car was not easy to work with. Apparently they went through a couple drill bits during the install, and it came out great. Much better overall than the job the last place had done for me. Very clean place, super nice people, nice waiting room with Wi-Fi and a big TV. I drove over an hour to get there, and I would recommend Steffy's to anyone. read more

An update: I took my car to my regular mechanic (who was amazed at the amount I had paid for the serpentine belt R/I). He did the repair for $ 355.00, a full $ 945.00 LESS than Steffy's quoted me for the repair. read more

I got my inspection and new tires put on earlier this week, and I couldn't have had a better experience at Steffy's. Both guys that I talked to were very kind and extremely helpful when it came to getting a tire quote and discussing which tires would be the best for my car. The prices were reasonable, and I had my car back within about 5 hours. I had great experience working with them. I will definitely go to them next time I need a mechanic. read more

My car was in for an engine swap. The first engIne they put in incorrectly, (had warranty) the second one they also was put in wrong and was given no warranty without asking. I called multiple times stating I needed them to check it out and fix the unsolved issues and was told the owner would contact me. No one ever contacted me. When I called back numerous times I was put on hold for half hour plus when they knew who Was on the phone. Still havnt had anyone contact me months later and my engine is still ruined. Small issues like oil change they would be fine for, but anything more than that I would not recommend. Very disappointed all around. read more

We have been long time customers and have noticed the service is not what it once was. Once a good shop is now horrible. Unless all you need is a simple oil change, look elsewhere. Expensive shop and repairs are not being done properly and will require multiple visits and fees. read more

I had a terrible experience here! They ruined the fuel system in my Cadillac and wouldn't take responsibility for their error. Worse yet, the Owner told me women have no rights, should leave opinions to men, etc... There is religious material all over the garage so if you're not Christian, you are likely to be offended. Let's face facts, Steffy's isn't a cheap garage, but I've had good service from them. You usually get what you pay for. They also service my Jag. There was a mess up last year where a ball joint they had installed failed and the wheel came off my car. It turned out to be the manufacturer's responsibility as the ball joint was never lubricated before it was sealed. They covered the cost of fixing everything without batting an eye. read more

I've been using Steffy's for a long time, (over 10 years) and have always been treated well. They don't seam to add extra repairs that aren't needed, and have been reasonably priced. Recently I've tried using them for oil changes, inspections, and regular maintenance. Those services are overpriced. Look to spend $70 for a synthetic oil change, and $77 for a state inspection on a 2015 vehicle that needed nothing. Both are well above other local service stations. read more
