Very dissatisfied and disappointed with MyHealth Dentistry's service and administration. The…read morecompany advertised a regularly priced $699 whitening treatment for $499. I called and had a lengthy conversation with their administrator, AnnaBelle about their whitening application method. I scheduled an appointment at that time for whitening on December 30th, 2022. I arrived for the treatment which was performed by AnnaBelle (also the office manager). The procedure takes 2 hours and is 3 or 4 15-minute applications depending on desired whiteness and/or gum tolerance. Some people have sensitive gums and are not able to complete 3-4 applications. After I successfully completed 3 applications, AnnaBelle suggested that she felt I reached maximum whiteness and if it were her, she would not do the 4th. I took her advice and moved on to having impressions made for whitening trays that would be ready for me in 1 week. I was leaving on January 11th for 4 weeks in Arizona and the trays were not ready to pick up before I left. I had my husband go in a week later to pick up the trays; however, they said they would not release the trays unless I was there. Just after I returned from Arizona on February 11th, I went to pick up the trays. I had to see a dentist (Dr Ibrahim). I told her and AnnaBelle who also sat in on our conversation that I was very displeased with the (lack of) whitening. The color change was no different than when I've used Crest strips or the $99 whitening trays from another dentist. They argued every point with me and discounted everything I had to say. The Dr was rude and made up every story she could to try and justify that she was right. She told me my tooth composition would not allow me to experience true whiteness because of some far-fetched excuse I've never heard. My question is, why didn't she tell me this BEFORE I had the application? The Dr also suggested I was many shades whiter than when I started; however, they could not provide pictures of the before and after. They didn't have a before saved in their computer. Dr also said if I had my teeth cleaned before the whitening, I may have had better results. My last cleaning was 1 month before the whitening with the BEST DENTIST, Dr Hoppe in Deerfield. Even so, why wasn't I told this before the treatment? After many rounds of me refuting/disproving ALL of the doctor's statements, AnnaBelle finally offered to refund my $499. She said she could not refund back to my original form of payment (credit card), but would instead have to have their accounting department issue a bank check which could take up to 30 days to receive. I was satisfied with that. After over 6 weeks passed, I called the office 3 times as I had not received the check, nor heard from the company. The first call I left a message. No call back. I called again and talked to AnnaBelle. She said my account was still in "pending" mode which meant the refund was not approved by their accounting department as yet (6+ weeks later). She said she would contact accounting and get back to me. I did not hear back so I called again. She said she hadn't received a response to her email inquiry and said she doesn't have a number to contact them by phone. I was still in pending mode which meant accounting hadn't even addressed the issue 6+ weeks later. AnnaBelle said she would try again and would get back to me. I asked AnnaBelle why, if you offered a refund, would accounting have to provide further approval? She said just because she offered the refund doesn't mean that I'm going to get it. I have written this review in hopes I can potentially save anyone from experiencing the same results and poor service from MyHealth Dentistry. I highly recommend you research other options.

I hadn't been to the dentist in 5 years because I had some bad experiences. I was really nervous for my appointment at myhealth but I really did not feel judged for not being a perfect patient and I also didn't feel dumb for asking all my questions. Of course I wish I didn't have to go back so soon for a cavity but I won't mind going to see this team! Thank you!

His communication with me during our initial consultation was clear and professional when discussing treatment. As well was Sheri's --at that time only, as she comes into the room to go over insurance, costs and reiterate what the doctor states. Although, Sheri badgered me early morning to come in and come early just for me to sit and wait roughly until my original appointment time. It went unacknowledged by staff but I let it go. I proceeded with offered treatment and paid on the spot at the initial appointment. Sheri was bubbly through checkout and even asked for a review mentioning her name. I went to leave a review, positive, based off that initial consultation with the dentists but the code did not load. I figured best wait until service is done, hoping more positive things to say. Unfortunately, upon leaving the office everything soon unraveled afterward due to misconduct by the office manager, Sheri. Aware her posture consists of a smile and professional tone. Seemingly sharp at checkout but clueless at recognizing her mistakes and unethical intentions. Her incompetent, negligent, and deceptive behavior -- Failed to willingly communicate leading to a breach of contract, knowingly making false statements to pressure me into an unnecessary treatment in response to my initiated cancellation of that treatment at which I vehemently refused until subjected into the elaborated false narrative. Sheri consistently failed to provide promised updates, intentionally ignored responses and requirements to communicate with me (alerted note through system from third party stating urgency to contact me- stated by third party that as a fact that she would be unable to miss the Urgent notice. It would be the first thing she sees logging in) misled my perfectly in tack porcelain veneer done elsewhere a few years ago to be discarded without my knowledge or consent. Temporary falling off in hours and ill-fitted I was left missing a veneer in the first four row of my upper teeth. Then obstructed access to my medical records upon request, vague release forms , several HIPAA violations -- I hoped that would've supported better communication and allow clarity and awareness amongst all including Dr.Ali . While I do not know exactly what Dr. Ali was told from the office manager, as the licensed provider he remains responsible for supervising his staff. It was deeply disappointing that instead of contacting me as a patient to discuss the matter, ask or answer any questions, concerns and give clarification from Dr to patient that would bring resolution. Accountability nor acknowledgement of misconduct ever taken. The last time over the phone I briefly spoke to Dr Ali, he understood that I had been mislead by his staff and seemed to recuse himself. No due diligence. Since initial consultation I had to chase the dentist office with calls as Office manager Sheri failed to contact me (a patient) for a prepaid service appointment, the due date passed, breaching of contract, a form of neglect. A chain of harm that I was left to pay the consequences for. So many violations yet I remained graceful, respectful, forgiving, empathetic and communicative. never once demanding, rude, or disrespectful. That is not my character. Well beyond reasonable time given, this happened in June 2025. Sheri, a vicarious liability not only to this practice but it's patients. Subsequently left me suffering the consequences of her actions. I was ultimately dismissed as a patient although never received any contact prior from Dr.Ali. Greatly disappointed no effort made to contact me as his patient. I am now left uncertain of Dr.Ali's awareness or involvement behind Sheri's unethical misconduct. This experience has enormously had a negative impact on my life. I regret this outcome a great ordeal for myself and for the practice.
