He provided options that I could take before undergoing the epidural procedure which I appreciated. On the day of the minor surgical procedure Dr. Welsh ran me through the steps again, reassuring me how simple and fast the procedure would be. I felt calm and was confident that I'd be in good hands. FYI, the procedure takes place in a surgical center and not these offices. The office is small but comfortable and very clean. They have vast awards showcasing the office walls on their various Doctors which is comforting. I would definitely recommend coming here for your pain management.

I was greeted at the desk, paid my fee, and escorted into the treatment room where a staff member took my blood pressure, pulse and temperature. I was then told to wait for the physicians. About 25 minutes later one of the physicians came in and told me that the supervising physician was not in, as he was out working on an election campaign and I would not be treated. She told me that they are sorry. I think that MFM should hold itself to the same standards it holds patients to, which would be to give a rebate to patients when I physician is a no call no show. This is unprofessional.

I went to MedExpress and within 5 minutes of listing the IDENTICAL SET of symptoms was sent inside for a urine sample and given a prescription for an antibiotic for a kidney infection. A kidney infection wasn't even MENTIONED as a possible diagnosis on my virtual appointment. I know Covid is out there and a major concern -- however, not everything is Covid related. Patients should be given a fair chance at a real diagnosis and not be left to fend for themselves. I am disappointed as I expected better from an Atlantic Health System office. I will be finding another PCP.

I'd been scheduled for this scan by my primary care physician during my annual checkup exam, so I didn't see what Yelp had to say about Florham Park beforehand. Boy was I surprised when I looked online and saw all the 1-Stars and testimonials (!!!) Because of the timing, there was no backing out or way for me to schedule somewhere else. So I went in this morning with some trepidation. Fortunately I had a good patient experience overall. For imaging, I would definitely come back to the Florham Park location again (140 Park Ave Building). Pros: ** Easy to drive there off of Columbia Turnpike. It's close to FDU -Florham. ** Nice campus. It's huge with more than ample parking and even covered parking structures for bad weather ** Imaging department is located as soon as you enter the main entrance doors of 140. It will be to your left. ** The waiting room is nice and they had HGTV playing on the TV ** The woman at Registration was polite, friendly, and informative ** The technician who performed my scan was professional, knowledgeable, and patient with explaining to me what would happen (which I really appreciate) ** The facilities once you enter past the registration area, equipment, and rooms looked good to me. There's a hallway with blue flowers painted on the walls, and on the ceiling above the machine there are images of the sky and flowers (so you can focus on those and relax while you are being x-rayed). Cons: ** So far, none... It's too early for the results and billing didn't happen yet. Hopefully the results will be uploaded to the portal in a timely fashion (in contrast to a fellow Yelper's review from last month). I don't know if that's a Summit Health computer system thing or human error though. We'll see what happens. Again, I would definitely come back to the Florham Park location (140 Park Ave) in the future for imaging services.

Three times I went back to the start and was in a loop. I then went to another call where when I finally got to a voicemail I couldn't leave a message because it said the mailbox was full , this is 3:00 in the afternoon. No number to call a supervisor, nothing. I went to the Clifton, NJ location for an MRI and I had my report by the time I got home which takes 15 minutes. This was at the 150 Park Ave location in Florham Park. Do not get MRI here. Horrible service The woman that did the MRI , Evette was excellent. The follow up horrible.

I was able to get An appointment, the receptionist was super helpful and the wait was within 15 minutes of my appointment even though there were many people in the waiting room. The tech who did my scan asked me questions, explained the process and asked me to wait after to ensure the scan was good and the initial reading didn't show anything concerning. I appreciated that very much. The results were uploaded to MyChart within the hour. Very efficient and nice people. Because I went in within 2 hours of my appointment, the insurance had not approved my test. They waited until the last minute to see If it would be approved and gave me the option to pay out of pocket or reschedule. I didn't have time or want to risk having a problem, so unpaid out of pocket and will working out with my insurance. They were very upfront about it and I liked having the option.

I used to work in healthcare. I know emergency rooms are stressful, unpredictable places. That said, I was put on a bed in the hallway for my entire visit. No room. No curtain. No privacy. No TV. Just me, my migraine, and the hallway. Even the ER at RWJ Somerset gave me my own little curtained-off area with a TV. I never thought I would find myself nostalgically reminiscing about an ER curtain, but here we are. I was given medication through an IV that did help my migraine, but it also made me extremely jittery -- to the point that after I was discharged, I was having a very difficult time functioning normally. Obviously, I understand that medications can have side effects. What bothered me more was how little support I felt I received around it. The interaction with the doctor was also unnecessarily unpleasant. I asked, very politely, "Can I have a head CT?" His response was: "I just said that." Listen. I know patients can be difficult. I know healthcare workers get tired, overwhelmed, and frustrated. I've worked in healthcare myself. But I wasn't yelling, demanding anything, or being disrespectful. I was sick, scared, and asking an innocent question nicely. There was absolutely no reason to speak to me that way. After I got home, the jitteriness was still significant, so I called the ER hoping to ask whether there was anything over-the-counter I could take or whether a prescription could be called in to help with the reaction. No one answered the phone. So, in summary: impressively short wait, hallway accommodations, zero privacy, medication that left me feeling worse in an entirely new and exciting way, a rude interaction with the physician, and then no one available when I called for guidance afterward. Hopefully there won't be a next time. But if there is, I'll be going to Cooperman in Livingston instead. One star for getting me in quickly. I would have preferred to wait a little longer and be treated like a person.

I went for an endoscopic MRI last year. The doctor was fine. The care was fine. However, the…read moredoctor's office didn't get pre-authorization for the procedure and therefore my insurance didn't pay them. I asked them prior to the procedure if pre-authorization was required and the staff at the practice told me it wasn't. Six months later Summit started billing me for the balance. My insurance company called them twice to tell them they could appeal the decision to try to collect the money but they can't bill the patient. I called them twice as well. Now they say it's under review. How hard is that to fix? I've heard from other people that Summit is horrible about billing but I never had an issue before because I have excellent insurance. If the doctor's office had done their job they would have been paid. I see no reason for them to continue to bill me when they've been told repeatedly that I'm not responsible for their mistake.
