Health of all the different types of plants I looked at. The customer service people were very knowledgeable. Some prices were in my range.

Well I tried to buy soil... $42 a yard you would think that I would get pulverized screened…read moresoil.... nope I got weeds, huge rocks and blocks of soil... see the pic... thats what I got... that huge piece of concrete is about 12" x 8"... omg.. thats right .. there was screening or pulverizing... I would go to another place for top soil... now the reason why I gave them a 2 was that I did speak to the manager and she gave me a half off discount on my next yard... but that soil was the same as the original... I know they were short on soil but then charge less and do not say it's pulverized.... thats shameful. !!!

Horrible experience with Breezy Hill. Had a landscaping project done last year by a professional…read morecontractor. Chose Breezy Hill for the perennials due to proximity to my home in Salem Lakes. Spent over $1,000 on a variety of rose bushes, shrubs, etc. Landscapers planted them, installed the weed barrier, and landscaping stones as is customary last July. Everything looked great and I was a happy camper for a few months. 2026 rolls around, and nearly half the perennials that we purchased were completely dead. They did not survive the winter. I took pictures, emailed Pam at Breezy Hill to see what they could do. Here is her response: Hi Mike, Thanks for sending these pictures. As you know we do not warranty cash & carry items and actually never warranted Perennials at all. We are confident they are healthy when they leave our care since we are all gardeners here, but overwintering is our biggest challenge with our very volatile and extreme temperature fluctuations. The way to ensure best results for this is to remove all stone from their vicinity and mulch instead, which moderates and insulates temperature and moisture for our plants, much as would occur in nature with plant debris forming the mulch layer. Stone does the opposite of this causing even worse fluctuations while also cutting off oxygen and sometimes water to the roots. If there is landscape fabric under the stone that should also be removed since that makes even worse conditions for the plants, e.g. no oxygen or water to the roots, sours and compacts the soil. I'm here to help with more suggestions any time today, July 4 until 7:00, July 5 10-4:00, July 6 after about 2:00-7, July 7 9-6. Thanks, Pam No offer to refund or replace even a portion of the plants, no offer to sell replacements at her cost or at a discount, NOTHING. Needless to say, I won't ever be going back, and I live just around the corner. Do not recommend.

Blatantly Misleading. No Fine Print. No Accountability…read more I ordered a Clematis from McKay Nursery in a #1 container, which their site described as approximately a 1-gallon size. What I got was a 2.5-quart pot--dramatically smaller than what any reasonable person would expect when ordering a gallon-sized plant. I contacted customer service, and Matt Weaver responded by telling me that a "#1 container" is actually a "trade gallon," which, according to him, means 2.4-2.9 quarts. That's not a real gallon. And more importantly: that information was nowhere on McKay's website. No small print. No disclaimer. No fine print. Nothing. To justify this, Matt sent me a link--not from McKay--but from a completely unrelated company's website (NC Farms), trying to retroactively explain away the discrepancy. That's not customer service. That's deflection. If McKay is using a non-standard sizing system, it is their responsibility to be transparent about that at the point of sale--not after someone calls them out. The fact that this was omitted entirely from their site makes it false advertising, plain and simple. The plant might be healthy, but I paid for something I didn't receive--and the way it was handled showed zero integrity. Buyers beware: McKay's "gallon" isn't a gallon. And once they've got your money, don't expect accountability.

Buyer Beware! This company sells inferior plants online. None of my plants showed and life almost…read moreone year later! Do not honor their 1-year guarantee! BBB to be reported also.

I love Flowers for Dreams. Have been a fan ever since they opened in Milwaukee. I love that a…read moreportion of their profits goes to a different nonprofit in the community each month. Their flowers are beautiful. I get a bouquet every year for Valentine's Day. This year, I was feeling under the weather, was leaving work early when my boyfriend said the delivery window was 8-5. I called FFD and spoke with a staff member who let me know we couldn't reroute the delivery but they would make me a new bouquet to pick up. The staff member was so patient as I had almost completely lost my voice. I showed up to their shop with my mask on and a barely audible hello. They knew exactly who I was and got my package ready for me. I love that they partner with other small businesses to create fun bundles. The candle accompanying the flowers smelled amazing and the chocolates were delicious. Over a week later and the flowers look just as good as on day one! They also have fun workshops to build your own bouquets and seasonal wreaths. Highly recommend them as a quality, ethical florist.

I would say the pictures on the website are very misleading in terms of what you get. I ordered a medium sized arrangement and what my friend received, though beautiful, was significantly smaller than the image of the medium arrangement on the website. Attaching a picture of what his pictured as a medium on the website and what actually arrived. I emailed and sent the photos as feedback and never received a reply.
