And talked on her phone (on speaker) the entire time she was applying the lashes. VERY UNPROFESSIONABLE!! When I was done I just wanted to get out of there as fast as I could. Unfortunately on the way home several lashes fell out!! I was mortified because I had them done for my son's graduation. Let me just say don't waste your time or money PLEASE!!

The chair I sat in during my service was super comfy and I even fell asleep because I was so comfortable lol. I saw Alex for a lash lift/tint + brow wax and I can't recommend her enough! The entire appointment took ~1.5 hours and she came out to get me right on the dot. Alex has a very chill, laid back personality which made it easy for me to sit back and relax during the appointment. You can tell she has great attention to detail and you can trust her to do a wonderful job. I love the way my lashes and brows turned out and she made sure to take my own preferences into account. They also play really great hip hop/r&b/pop music which I enjoyed! Lastly, despite being in downtown, it wasn't hard to find street parking at all. I paid $3.85 at the meter for 2 hours, but there's also a parking garage across the street for $8/hr.

A very unique place. The Babe Cave is located downtown across the street from Nada. I didn't see any signage outside, but they're doors are black with gold handles. You go inside, straight to the elevator, then up to floor 4. I didn't have any issues finding the building or parking; as there are a couple parking garages in the area and also street parking available. Besides lash lifts/tint, they also offer lash extensions, waxing, eyebrow lamination/tint, and teeth whitening:-)

When I moved to Indiana I did major research to find a lash artist that did russian volume. I am always very picky about who I chose to make me look and feel great, from hair, nails and now lashes. I did my research and the only person I felt most comfortable with and trusted was Maria. First off she's passionate about what she's doing and you can tell it makes her feel good when you feel good about her work. Second, her work speaks volumes (pun intended). Lash retention is an important factor and I had to go a bit longer than usual in between fills my first time getting it done with her, and it was GREAT. Third, in order for me to have retained my lashes for this long was also due to her educating me on how to care for them! All this aligns with someone who is going to take care of you and knows what they are doing. I used to get super long lashes and my lash girls never REALLY told me the importance of caring for them and how to do so until Maria. We discussed the best length and curl for my eyes and health of my lashes, in the end I am 10x more satisfied because she took the time to walk me through it and help me understand. Lastly, outside of being a passionate and knowledgable person about lashes, she is also a wonderful, vibrant and ambitious woman! If I am going to have to lay there for 3 hours, I couldn't have a chosen a better person to do it with. PS.
