My mom was a resident at Stellar Care for the last two years, and my family and I visited so often that it truly felt like a second home to us as well. We spent every holiday here and always appreciated the kindness and welcoming atmosphere this place provided for families. We have so many positive memories and wonderful things to say about Stellar Care. The caretakers were wonderful to my mom, and I am incredibly thankful that she was cared for by so many sweet and gentle people. The nurses gave my mom nicknames like "Smiley" and "Diamond Eyes," and it was truly heartwarming to see how special they made her feel. Beyond being a care facility, we viewed each visit as a trip to "Grandma Jeri's House," where our two boys made every visit with Grandma as special as possible. One of our favorite spaces inside Stellar Care was the library--a living-room-style area with plenty of seating, a large dining table, and shelves filled with books, games, and arts and crafts. Equipped with a TV and a record player, it felt like a private hangout where we could spend quality time together. That room hosted many game nights filled with Dominos, Yahtzee, and Uno. We loved the space so much that we celebrated her 70th birthday there, reserving the room, decorating it, surprising her with her favorite foods and cake, and enjoying the day surrounded by loved ones. Another favorite space was the outdoor patio backyard, which offered large tables, a swing chair, and fans and heaters to accommodate changing weather. It was a wonderful shared space to relax, socialize with other residents, enjoy the sunshine, and simply spend time together. There was also a smaller patio that was perfect for quieter days--bringing a portable speaker and enjoying music in the breeze. I loved how every day at Stellar Care was filled with engaging activities, from birthday celebrations and trivia to bingo and live music performances. One especially cherished memory was St. Patrick's Day, when Stellar Care hosted an afternoon of games like hot potato and provided treats and activities for everyone to enjoy. We spent so many wonderful days at Stellar Care, and we are deeply grateful for the love and support shown to my mom. I will truly miss coming here--it was a peaceful, beautiful place filled with warmth and love. read more

August 11, 2022 - My mother was a difficult customer for the first three weeks in memory care. She wanted so much to go home. The staff knew exactly how to help her get acclimated and everything went smoothly for Mom's last nineteen months. I was a frequent visitor (three days a week) as Mom went from one level of care to another. And I always, always had confidence in her caregivers. Truly, they are the most dedicated, compassionate, and thoughtful people. The med techs are expert and conscientious. The activity leaders are creative and enthusiastic. The director is awesome. Mom came to love them all. She was happy and her quality of life was pretty darn good. Stellar Care and Sharp Hospice worked well together. Parking is not the best, but the courtyard is quite pleasant, the food is very good, and you won't find a better staff anywhere. Rick Wall read more

I went for the tour today and am beyond relieved to have found this place. I was so overwhelmed with trying to find the right place for my mom and now I am at peace. My mom is a younger elderly in her mid 60s with early stages dementia. This place is just right for her and is perfect for her to continue living there as her dementia progresses. The staff and residents were very welcoming. It's a home like environment with plenty of options for activities. Having to place my mom was a hard reality I had to face and has been a difficult journey, but now I can finally say I'm at peace and it feels good and I'm so grateful to know she'll be here. My loved one lived here and let me tell you that Stella Care is definitely not Stellar. I toured many memory care places and this one seemed to stand out initially and seemed all too good to be true till a few months later I noticed my loved one was not getting the care they needed sadly. This was a big deal of curse because it's not easy moving a loved one to a place you feel comfortable with. I waited months to see if things would improve with my loved one's care and still nothing like imagined. My loved one was always covered in their own feces. They would leave them in their room without really checking on them. When I would visit I would have to clean my loved one from soiled clothes because it would take them hours to finally get someone to come up to the room to clean them. I had asked for certain foods to not be served due to special diet and when I would visit I would see they had served my LO food they shouldn't have served and would serve them what everyone else was eating. They make all these promises and fail to provide quality care. They are very short staffed all the time. They would say they weren't but clearly they were or why else was my LO coveted in feces constantly.I would say the only good thing there is the daily activities. The caregivers are way overworked and seemed very overwhelmed honestly. The caregivers were very nice and caring people from what I saw however they had 75 residents to tend to all day and that's just too much for a few caregivers to be responsible for so many people living there who require a lot. I would constantly speak with them about the lack of care and negligence and would advocate for other residents there but sadly nothing improved so I decided to remove my loved one asap! I realized this place was not for my loved one and knew this place was only in it for the money as they will charge you more for every little thing. Also, they kept my LO in wheelchair so that a staff didn't have to he with them at all times which we had to pay extra for someone to be there with them which wasn't the case. I wood rarely ever see a staff assisting my LO. They would go to restroom alone. When I finally moved my LO out my LO was waking again. No need for wheelchair anymore.. I would say the only good thing there is that they offer activities all day and is a clean facility. If your loved one needs lots of care this is not the place unfortunately. If they're pretty Independent then it might workout for them till they need more care. read more

My mother has lived at Stellar Care for over four years, and the staff treat her, as they do all residents, as family. Ms. Linda Cho, the owner, is "hands on;" she is there every day and provides caring, professional management. She hand picks and inspires her staff to care for residents as beloved family. She also treats her staff well; It is a very well-run facility. There are constant improvements. The last time I checked, there was close to a one to one ratio of staff to residents, which included a full-time mechanical, laundry, food prep, and medical staff. There are various levels of care depending on your loved one's situation. My mother originally lived on the fourth floor, which is for residents who are relatively independent. Before COVID, every morning the group met in the library for coffee, news of the day and games. During the afternoon there were various events, such as watercolor classes, card games, etc. There were also outings like a trip to the zoo, or a morning ride ending with ice cream. My mother thrived in this environment. Because she needed more assistance, six months ago, she was moved to the first floor where there is a higher staff to resident ratio. In addition to activities on the fourth floor, there is a constant program of activities for residents on the other floors. Besides a full-time staff handling recreation there is a musician who comes into the facility multiple times a week for a music program and sing-a-longs. There is also a beautician who provides hair and nail services, A medical doctor comes to the facility weekly. There is an LVN on staff full time. Ms. Cho is very focused on socialization and interaction to stimulate residents because of its importance to the mental health of residents. However, when COVID struck San Diego Ms. Cho immediately shut down the facility to outsiders and isolated residents in their rooms. Early on, there were some COVID cases, but it was through no fault of Ms. Cho or the staff. She pleaded with health authorities to test residents and staff, to no avail. She was told since tests were in such short supply, authorities would not authorize anyone not showing symptoms to be tested. Eventually, she was ale to get testing done, and more recently invested in "rapid test kits". She requires tests for everyone who comes into the facility and tests staff and residents regularly. She has also installed an expensive system to sanitize the facility and people who enter. To counter one of the reviews, our family has been grateful with Stellar Care in regard to several major medical issues my mother developed over the years. Last year, she was in the hospital for a week due to a strange infection. There she developed pneumonia and the hospital staff insisted that she be transferred to a rehab hospital. She did not fare well, lost weight, and did not recover any strength. After a month, I asked Stellar Care whether they would be willing to take her back. Even though it meant much more work for the staff, they were eager for her to "come home." And with physical and occupational therapy visits and the care of the staff, she recovered. Recently she celebrated her 100th birthday, and the Ms. Cho and the staff went all out to make sure it was a memorable. We are so fortunate that our mother lives at Stellar Care. read more

COVID update: I have changed my original rating from 2 stars to one star, after hearing this Inewsource report (see: https://inewsource.org/2020/07/15/coronavirus-deaths-san-diego/) re:Lynn Charles Naibert's death from COVID, and his children's experiences at Stellar Care. From the article: "State records show 13 residents at Stellar Care have contracted the virus. Linda Cho, the facility's executive director, declined to comment about the Naiberts' concerns. "Due to rules and regulations for our residents and families, it is not appropriate for us to respond at this time," she wrote in an email." I want to let others know I had a similar situation when my father was admitted to their facility 5 years ago for what was intended to be a temporary stay. He died one month later. Please read the article and consider these incidents before entrusting a person to their care. They may require additional support if they have- or develop- healthcare needs beyond cognitive issues (dementia/Alzheimer's). read more

Sadly my mom passed a few months ago, and we are finally getting her trust taken care of. But when I think back on her last year's we fondly remember her time at Stellar Care. She was the happiest there. The staff was really her family and they treated her like that. It was the little things that made them so special, like painting their nails or brushing their hair or making them a special meal (she was Japanese and occasionally they would make Asian food for their Asian dwellers). They kept us informed about any medical problems and helped us to make it easier to take care of her medical needs by having a doctor come in once a week to take care of her instead of us having to take her to see them. I truly urge anyone looking for a dementia care facility to check this place out, they truly do care about the people left in their care. read more

My Dad has lived at Stellar care the past 11 months. He just passed away yesterday and I really didn't want a day to go by without letting people know that if your parent/loved one is in need of exceptional Memory Care placement, this is the place that you want them to be. The staff is caring and compassionate. They listen to you as the family member and try to accommodate every need. They treat their residents with respect and dignity, while keeping them safe. The site is kept immaculate, and the courtyard is beautiful. They have activities for the residents and include everyone no matter what stage of memory care they are in. My Dad raved about the food before he declined in his dementia. Once things started going downhill for my Dad (he had dementia and Parkinson's) and he started to forget that he wasn't supposed to get up with out help etc... Stellar called me and suggested safety measures we could take (bed alarm, different wheelchair, etc..) then they recommended that we have Hospice come in and take over his medical care rather than take chances of his falling while transporting him to Doctors appointments or the hospital. It was a blessing and took a weight off of my shoulders. I never would have known it was a possibility without them suggesting it. Linda Cho the owner/director is exceptional, the ladies in the Med room are so helpful and communicative. They always emailed or called me if they saw changes in Dad that they thought needed to be addressed. I myself wasn't able to visit often as I live out of state, but my sister visited weekly if not more and never announced her visit. She never saw anything concerning, everyone knew her name, and treated her as family. Especially these last couple weeks. The last few days of Dad's life when she was there daily, they brought her coffee and food because they knew she was there for the final transition and didn't want to leave his side. They CARED, which is something so lacking in today's society. So again, I highly recommend Stellar Care. If I could give them 10 stars I would. read more

Stellar Care is a warm, welcoming, family-oriented residence.  The staff are professional and compassionate,. The very first time my husband, who has Alzheimer's, visited the facility, he said "I feel comfortable here." I recommend it without reservation. I began my search and search of memory care facilities over a year ago.  From the very first phone call and subsequent visit, the commitment to the social and emotional well-being of the residents and family was palpable.  These are experienced, knowledgeable people.  From the director and senior staff, to the caregivers and other support staff, we've been met by smiles, friendly and easy conversation, understanding, and support.  When the time came for my husband to move-in, everyone was helpful.  While our family prepared his room, we had countless welcomes and offers of help from the senior staff to the maintenance staff, the lady from the laundry, the on-duty caregivers.  During his first weeks there, the staff monitored him closely and provided regular and re-assuring updates to our family.  They could not have been more accommodating.   This caring environment is clearly inspired and encouraged from the directors.  The structured environment is designed for persons with dementia. The variety of activities and opportunity for socialization are many.  The patios and common areas are immaculate, comfortable and inviting (and safe).  Each floor has an ample activity room as well as a smaller one where family can visit and enjoy a meal together if it's too cold to be outside.  Families are encouraged to visit.  This is indeed a home! read more

Apparently, LVNs and medication technicians rule the roost there and I think that is inappropriate. I know of a patient there who has not received recommended referrals for diagnostic tests and appears to be over-medicated. read more

I had my mom there and I liked facility. Only complaint I have this heavy set LVN Chris. I asked him to medicate my mom for pain and he said he would come back and he didn't. I went to medication room to remind him about pain med and he was in the room talking to other med techs and they where discussing confidential subject so laud I was outside and I could hear him talking. No HIPA responsiveness. Then he said to other med tech regards to my mom "can you go and medicate her , patients daughter is pain in my ass" I couldn't believe it. When he talks to you he plays supper nice but behind your back he is rude. I didn't say anything but started following him and listen. He always talks about others. Guy is backstabbing everyone. But when he talked to you directly he pretends to be sweet and even brown nosing people. I think he is very inappropriate for facility and patient care. read more

Disclosure - this review actually written by my mom in regard to my grandmother's care. She does not have an account, and I am posting on her behalf. I personaly spent a fair amount of time at Collwood visiting my grandmother and couldn't have written this better: Collwood Terrace Stellar Care was not a suitable care facility for my mother. In the initial meetings with the owners, I was told that Collwood was set up to house a resident through the declining stages of Alzheimer's. I was also told the staff was trained in how to care for these declining stages. Collwood did not meet my mother's needs as her health declined. I was told there would be price increases as the level of care increased. Yet I didn't see an increase in number of personnel to care for her. There were also price increases in between the levels of care; each one with their own explanation. I gladly paid all of the increases in the hopes that the care would improve. It did not. My mother lost the ability to speak and the staff did not have the patience to try and understand her. The night staff was limited in numbers and did not understand residents who don't sleep well or sleep through the night. After moving my mother to another home, I now have the kind of care dementia patients should have; kind, loving, treated in a dignified manner and most of all ... patience. My mother is happy, content and calm now. Yes, Collwood Terrace is beautiful and clean. Yes, the staff is friendly to visitors. But I have all this in the home my mother is in now with a staff that has improved my mom's life immensely. I would recommend Collwood Terrace only to individuals who can effectively communicate to family and staff. read more

When dad was diagnosed with late stage dementia, we struggled to find the right place to help care for him. Dad had been in several places that were not a good fit before we found Stellar Care. At my initial walk through, every person was kind and friendly. They called each resident by name with kindness. We moved dad in and never had a moment of regret. Dad was a complicated dementia patient but they knew just how to interact with him to redirect, de-escalate, and care for him. My sister and I were every active in his care and I always felt that I could ask questions or be involved in any activity. The kindness and patience shown by Annalise, Maggie, Chris, Lordes, Eileen, and ALL caregivers and employees is exceptional. This facility specializes in those with Alzheimer's, and was where my grandma stayed for several years at the end of her life. Prior to that she had stayed an Assisted living facility, but Collwood was a much better fit for her and the people there took great care of her. Everything is very clean and they have lots of activities. Whenever we visited we were treated like special guests in their home. The staff are very helpful, willing to drop everything to help you find a room or get a cup of coffee even. My grandma got to keep some of her own furniture and wall decorations in her room along with her roommates things and so it felt very homey in the room, not institutional. This place is great, you walk in and you immediately get a happy up-beat feeling from the staff. The only reason I gave it a 4 instead of 5 star is that it is really not in a great part of town, not that it mattered to grandma because she was not to leave unassisted, but parking can be a little dicey. read more

I screened 6 facilities before I found Collwood Terrace. Today we moved my dad in, and his illness and hearing loss caused him to become difficult. The staff handled him really well: compassionate and skilled in this kind of situation. They gave me peace of mind that this was a good choice. Collwood Terrace is an excellent place for people with Alzheimer's or dementia. It is a lockdown facility so there is no fear of wandering off. It has a beautiful outdoor patio area where the residents can relax or visit with family. There are plenty of activities and crafts for those able to participate. My father had dementia and sometimes could be very difficult. Thank goodness for Collwood and their wonderful staff. They were always patient, caring, and kind to him. My father spoke Japanese and the caregivers would often ask what he was saying. They would learn a word or two so he could understand them. I felt my father was being well cared for and that put my mind at ease. It's not easy to place your loved ones in a facility but Collwood Terrace was a good fit. read more

My dad has been at Collwood for over 2 years, and I am so impressed by everyone on the staff. Dad lived in a facility in another city before I moved him here, and even though that facility was considered to be one of the best in town, I am so much happier with Collwood. Every resident has their own unique issues and there is no way to predict what comes next with your loved one. The staff gets to know each resident and figures out what works for them. The caregivers continually amaze me with how well they handle dad. I am always learning from them. I have gotten to know many other family members with loved ones at Collword, and no one has had a negative thing to say. I have nothing but respect for Linda, the director. She is on top of everything that goes on. She truly cares about every resident and treats them with dignity. Having a loved one with dementia is such a difficult situation, but knowing my dad is being well taken care of is such a relief. read more

Everyone (the management, caregivers, kitchen and office staff) pitches in to help the residents in anyway that they possibly can. My mom had Alzheimer's Disease and was with Stellar Care for just about a year. Sadly during her short time there her condition has progressed and as much as none of us would wish to see our family members in a facility such as this, I have found Stellar Care to be the most wonderfully caring place, both for her and for our family. The caregivers are well trained, warm and friendly, and they perform the most difficult tasks with compassion and love. The medical staff are knowledgeable and informative and the management staff communicative and helpful. Especially Chris, I believe he is the supervisor nurse there who greeted me and my family on our first day with smile and gentle personality. He also stayed with my mom during the last few hours before passing as a hospice patient not too long ago.. I saw him talking to my mom and sing for her even though she was unconscious. The facility is always clean, and there is a friendly, almost family like atmosphere from the moment you walk in the door and are greeted not only by the smiling people at the front desk, but also by the dogs who live there. From the first week everyone knew my mom, they also know me and my family belong to when we visit. Dealing with Alzheimer's Disease has a devastating affect not only on the person with the disease, but the entire family, and knowing your loved one is being well cared for and looked after has made my life and the lives of my family so much easier. I would highly recommend Stellar Care to anyone looking for a home for their family member with dementia. Collwood Terrace is a wonderful facility that specializes in dementia and Alzheimer's care. We moved my mother there from another facility when it became clear that she needed a higher level of specialized care. She lived at Collwood for 2 years until she passed away. The entire staff, without exception, performed their duties with kindness, professionalism, and amazing attention to detail. They made my mother's daily life safe and comfortable. OH!, the pain our generation faces when having to place your parent with dementia or Alzheimer's into a secured assisted living facility. But, if YOU want to avoid the trauma of that decision, I have thee place for you and your loved one. Our 86-year old dad suddenly needed total care we 4 daughters could not provide for him in his own home. After checking out every secured facility in San Diego, we decided on Stellar Care-Collwood Terrace. Why you ask? Let me share with you what we experienced in our DAILY presence caring and loving dad during his 6 month stay at Collwood Terrace. 1. After being diagnosed with a terminal brain tumor at UCSD Medical Center we mentioned to the neurosurgeon we had selected COLLWOOOD TERRACE for dad's end-of-life care facility...the doctor told us that COLLWOOD TERRACE was highly respected in the medical field when it came to assisted living care facilities in San Diego!!! 2. The ENTIRE staff of Collwood Terrace, from the owners, care givers, Hospice Team, med-techs, chef, activities coordinator, nurses, cooks, dining room staff, custodial, front desk team, laundry room attendants, (and I'll never forget)... Bella pooch, the Canine Care Giver, were ALL empathetic, kind, caring, and supportive to us, our father, and our constant presence! 3. In our 6 months of visiting dad--at all times and every day, we NEVER witnessed ANY act by any staff member of which we disapproved. We felt dad was being cared for by angels disguised as Care Givers...whatever we needed, it was provided immediately. The chef pureed dad's food; the care givers kept him clean and cute, dressing him up every day in his Super Grandpa t-shirt or his referee shirt. They kept his hair cut and styled, shaved him so he looked like his handsome self. We liked having a private room so we could share private moments with dad. 4. We saw how the facility kept the residents engaged. Louis, the activities director, and his staff kept everybody fit by morning exercises, Senior Citizen Jeopardy games, BINGO with useful prizes (socks, blankets, toiletries), crafts throughout the day/evening, popcorn movie nights, card games, board games, puppy visiting day, singing, walkabouts, bird house making, era-appropriate movies. They have scenic drive field trips, they went to the U.S.S. Midway... and one day some residents dressed in their finest and went out for tea!! And the choices go on and on. 5. COLLWOOD TERRACE'S dining room is pleasant and has great food (we often ate there)...and Chris, the chef, knows and prepares the personal nutritional needs of every resident. A volunteer piano player adds a touch of class during meals. 6. Living there at Christmas time was difficult at best, but COLLWOOD invited in a children's choir and a harpist to brighten up the holidays for residents and visitors alike. Every area was decked out in Christmas spirit. 7. COLLWOOD was clean and extremely well maintained. I felt I was in a condominium and not an assisted living facility. 8. The owners are sensitive with the emotional needs of all family members as well. We couldn't have been more impressed with Linda and Chris. When we found out dad had only 6 weeks to live, we sisters were afraid he wouldn't be allowed to stay at COLLWOOD anymore but, that is when COLLWOOD called in HOSPICE to watch over him and he got to stay... 9. HOSPICE...they work hand-in-hand with COLLWOOD. When it was dad's time...they were there for us around the clock. Hospice nurses assisted all of us through the difficult last days of dad's life. We don't even know how to thank them for helping us get to dad's final goodbye. They held us up and we will be ever thankful. Hospice also provides a Spiritual Advisor and counseling. 10. Many staff members came by to say their goodbyes to dad...to visit...to share a memory with us about him...when I cried the cleaning lady handed me a hanky... 11. Hopefully, hearing the father-daughter experience of what it was like to be in COLLWOOD will help ease your burden having to make "THAT" choice. 12. I have my mother there. I am very unhappy with the place. The rooms are on a busy street which is the road to the Freeway. When I visited my mother yesterday, she was in her room. lying on her bed which had no sheets or blankets on it. The room was stuffy but can't open the window because of the street noise and sirens continuously going off by firetrucks and ambulances. When I arrived yesterday to visit my mother not one employee looked me in the eye or gave me a smile. There is something wrong with that place. One of the staff personal was doing a sing a long with the patients, and he looked mad at the world. I never saw him smile at any of the patients. You could totally tell he doesn't like what he is doing. I am working on now on getting my mother out of there. I do not want her last living days in that dump! read more

If I could give more stars, I would because Collwood Terrace deserves more than just 5 stars. My mother-in-law was there for almost a year due to her dementia, which this facility specializes in and I spent a great deal of time with her so I got to know the place very well. This facility is perfect for those with dementia and memory care because it's a locked-down facility which means that residents can't wander off, which is a common problem with dementia. It has a very homey atmosphere and the caretaker-to-resident ratio is very high. They also have art therapy, music therapy, puzzles, gardening, crafts and even field trips, all of which are important to people with dementia. I went on quite a few field trips with my mother-in-law and was always amazed at how well the caretakers were with the residents, even going bowling, to a picnic at the park, to the Midway museum, or sometimes just for a scenic ride to the beach and Mt. Soledad Cross. As well as they treat the residents, they also treated us as a family members so well. I felt my mother-in-law was in good hands and they were also helping us as a family with the transition to having our loved one in a facility which wasn't easy in any situation. Collwood has a fantastic support group for Alzheimer's that meets twice a month that is open to anyone, whether or not the loved one is at Collwood. Susan, the facilitator, is absolutely awesome in the support group and the group really helped us with dealing with a loved one with dementia. We found Collwood through a placement service that helps loved ones find facilities for dementia patients. What clinched it for us in choosing Collwood was that the woman in the placement service that we used (who deals with countless elder care facilities all over San Diego) has her own mother-in-law in Collwood. read more

Don't be fooled by the smiles, increasingly opulent facility, advertising, 5 stars, and raves about this facility. The executive director is reason enough to stay away. They are being investigated for a number of violations, and their well crafted website and mission statement is nothing more than effective advertising. If you fall for their facade, read your Residency Contract Agreement very well and ask the right questions. They are highly motivated to sign you in, then maximize their revenues, so be prepared for high and frequent rent increases, poor internal communication, inability to recognize nor manage pain, and hear a lot of excuses why your concerns are not their problem. If you don't visit your loved one then any place will suit. If you are your loved one's advocate and keep a close eye on his or her care, than you'll be sorely disappointed. If your loved one becomes traumatized when relocated, then spare him/her further hardship and pain, and choose another facility. Good luck in your search. read more

I love Collwood and am so pleased that my father is living there because he is happy. I visited and evaluated multiple dementia care facilities before selecting Collwood Terrace. I knew I had made the right decision about Collwood when my father's doctor asked me where my dad was living because he noted that my father looked great, was at a healthy weight, and seemed centered and engaged in life. (I attribute my father's healthy weight to his diet at Collwood. The food is fresh and healthy and my dad looks forward to the meals.) My father is thriving at Collwood and he enjoys the field trips, daily activities and all the personal attention he receives. A friend of mine in the healthcare field told me that Collwood Terrace takes excellent care of their residents and that has certainly been our experience. I am impressed with how quickly the staff will call me with any concerns from sniffles to dry skin on my dad's hands. I go to Collwood often and really enjoy my visits. The owners and caregivers are upbeat and friendly creating a positive atmosphere. They are like family. The staff at Collwood Terrace Stellar Care enabled my dad to have the greatest care a man could want in his final days. My dad lived at the Terrace for 6 months. In his fourth month there, support staff and caregivers alerted our family that dad was not his jovial, smiling, self. He had began to exhibit odd behavior they had never seen him manifest before. The head nurse and director arranged to have him transported to the UCSD Behavorial Unit for observation. Thanks to their quick decision, my dad had an MRI and the UCSD doctors located a 7x4 " centimeter cancerous brain tumor. Through the help of the Collwood entire staff we we able to help dad through the final days. Working with the hospice service there was awesome also. Bella, the delightful canine care giver, was present the day my dad passed too! We have only thank yous for all that the caregivers, the staff and the director did for papa. read more
