I've been going to David for a little over three years, and he is truly one of the best nail technicians I've ever had. His attention to detail, consistency, and deep knowledge of nail health really set him apart. My gel overlay always lasts, looks flawless, and people constantly compliment my nails and ask where I get them done. Even though I usually stick with a French manicure, I trust his advice completely and often try new things based on his recommendations -- he never misses. Steluna, the new salon, is absolutely beautiful: bright, clean, open, and incredibly relaxing. The staff is warm, friendly, and always accommodating, which makes every visit enjoyable from the moment I walk in. Booking is easy, the prices are great, and there's plenty of parking. Even though this location is a bit farther from my home, it is absolutely worth the drive. Came here again after getting a pedicure only once, the pedicure was amazing so I thought why not come again? Mistake. My first mistake was coming at 3pm on a Sunday. Had to wait, which is normal & I expected to be shooed away since it was 2 hours till closing but they let me stay. I waited, very patiently I finally get someone, she was super sweet, and we did gel-x. I always do gel-x, its my go-to when my original nail lady is not available. Another mistake. I was there until 5, because the gel dryer was broken & she had to do it again. I left with my nails filed in different directions, color all over my fingers, cuticles sticking out, and paint CHIPPING. Gel is impossible to chip unless you do hard work, I work from home. I do nothing hard. I'm in the 2nd week of gel-x nails & almost all of them have chipped off. My nails are all different shapes, all weak, and the one acrylic replacement nail fell off. I chose Tesla Nail Salon because of the reviews, and I'm glad I did. On my way to Trinidad, I needed a pedicure, and many of the reviews praised the salon for its friendly and professional staff. I walked in around seven without an appointment, and they accommodated me within a few minutes. I was greeted by the nail tech, who took me back to the pedicure stations. It was late, around closing time, but I didn't feel rushed, which made me feel very comfortable. It's a well-decorated salon with vibrant colors and plenty of stations. They serve wine upon request while you are pampered. I also noticed how clean the stations were which is very important to protect the clientele. Brand new nail salon in Pembroke Pines directly next to Firebirds in Pembroke Gardens. Very clean with an upscale feel. Free water, Coke or Wine (wine for their 21 and over customers). Since they just opened they are offering 20% off any service. Lizmar who did my nails was a real perfectionist. She took her time and made sure I was happy. The salon is conveniently located at the entrance of Pembroke Gardens and has plenty of free parking. The staff spoke primarily Spanish, but also understood English. Try them out. I was there as soon as they opened and was seated as soon as I advised of what service I wanted. I liked that Jenny didn't try to force a conversation. The whole time our conversation remained light and friendly. Sometimes when you go to these salons they try to be all super friendly. The guy was extremely nice which is the only reason I'm giving 2 stars as opposed to 1. This guy painted my nails horribly. I had gel done which is the only reason I didn't have them redone. Worst nail paint job ever. I asked him to file the excess polish away and he laughed saying (oh, I thought you wanted me to paint your skin). He was attempting to be funny because I asked him to paint my entire nail as opposed to leaving the sides exposed. He needs to where his glasses at all times to prevent from making the horrible mistakes he made with my nails. I had to come home and file my nails from every angle to remove the excess hardened gel polish he left around my nails on my skin. WORST MONEY EVER SPENT ON NAILS. I called prior to coming in to find out the price of a gel pedicure. The receptionist told me $50 which I was fine with. After getting my pedicure done, I was on my way to pay and noticed the pricing book and something told me to just take a glance. They had 3 pedicure options which no one told me about when I asked. They automatically gave me the most expensive one even though I didn't ask for it. This place is extremely deceptive and clearly money hungry. Visited their new beautiful location at 157 S. Compass Way in Dania Beach. I get my nails done every 2 weeks decided to visit this location since I was in the area. After 6 days my powdered dip fill is all chipped, which I've never experienced before. Very disappointing as I had hoped this would be my new nail spot because of the atmosphere. Asked for a gel-x manicure w/ tip and was told they provided that service. After having my nails buffed out and my previous gel-x manicure scraped off, the employee tried to figure out what gel-x was. I tried trusting their process even though I knew it was not what I had asked for. I was also told they would not put a tip on my nails even though I specifically asked about three times, with each time being denied because my "natural nails would look prettier." They applied liquid gel with a brush to my nails about five times, unevenly. When buffed, it was still uneven. The paint when applied was streaky and sloppy.
