I wish I could give 0 stars. Today I came in for a 5 minute underarm wax and they would not let me receive the service because I had my infant with me. She was asleep in her stroller and I was told I could not get my wax because the room was "too small". I had been waxed here twice before and there is plenty of room for her stroller in the rooms. I went today to get my ears and nose waxed. I was greeted by Marta at the front desk who was friendly and knowledgeable about the services. She explained the packages they offer. I was then greeted by Adrianna the wax technician who was also friendly. She confirmed the services she was going to do. During the service she explained what she was doing and even gave me a notice when she waxed. She was very thorough and asked if I was OK. I really appreciated the notice of when she was going to pull the wax so I expected it. I will absolutely be going back to see Adrianna at the Miramar location again. read more

Very disappointed that this location does not make accommodations for special-needs families. If I have a special needs child and I come in for a service, the child should be able to come in the room with me. The excuse I was given is the room is "too small" As a business that mainly caters to women accommodations and modification should be high on list. read more

I have been coming here for years! I come in on a weekday and made an appt for one of their 5 selected time slots available same day. To ensure I wasn't late I picked the safest time slots. Although I arrived early, I was told there was someone else coming in. Waited about 15 min-18 min very close to my time slot, so what they have one tech today? Before left very upset, one of the techs in the room was sitting down on the bed swinging her legs on her phone and me waiting outside. That really upset me, because I had to still wait until my appt time when there was someone available. Sorry, but customers come first, secondly it was selected as "Any" for service. I left 3 minutes prior to my appt only because it was super upsetting to see lack of and now they can stay there enjoying their phone. Then I get a call telling me they are short staff, well then fix your system appt to not take any appts. Initially there was time slots available in 15 min segments on a Monday evening with multiple slots, so how exactly was there a shortage, same day booking? It was simple, take the customer who is there early and asking to be seen. Never coming back! read more

I was going here for years. Now the service is hit or miss and I started asking why. Turns out they only pay their staff $12-$13 per hour and provide few benefits, even though the cost of service continues to go up without explanation. I will not being going to Uni K wax anymore. If you are like me and get ingrown hairs when shaving, or have sensitive skin, the wax product that Uni K Wax uses will change your " so fresh and so clean" game for your lady bits. Bikini wax with no ingrown hairs, yay! This location in Miramar take online appointments, over the phone appointments, and even walk-in ( I recommend online appointments since you get $points for future appointments). The place is clean, open late, and even have weekend appointments. They also have a series of other waxing services (e.g. legs, mustache, armpits, arms ,etc. ). I've been coming to this place for approximately 3 years and it has gotten better with time. I've seen staff come and go but the staff that they have there now are great. They make good conversation and I don't get any attitude from them. I don't think I've ever had to wait when I made an appointment and even when I called to reschedule I was accommodated. Prices are way too expensive. They have all of a sudden increased their prices by over 40%. When I asked for the price on services for a full leg waxing, $60. Down the street at Senses it is $44.00. Full leg, bikini and underarm quoted at $125.00, at Senses it is $88.00. They have horrible customer service and have lost most of their technicians. Their rate of attrition is keeping up with their prices. Will not be going back. I should have quit a long time ago but their location was way too convenient and Roxy, the technician was awesome. I do not recommend nor will I continue to visit this establishment. read more

I went to Uni K Wax Center because my regular waxing place was completely booked and I was in a rush to get a Brazilian wax from somewhere in the area. The first time I made an appointment they were fast, clean and efficient, and the person who waxed me was professional but friendly where it distracted me from the obvious pain. I came here 2 more times because I was very pleased with my waxer, although I did find the service to be overpriced compared to other waxing centers in Pembroke Pines. I had no issues with paying more for superior service, however I had to stop coming here because their points service and promotions are not truly rewarded. On my second visit I was told that the next time I came in I would receive a free underarm wax (a $15 value). When I called to make the appointment, I told the girl that I was told I have a free underarm wax that I will be redeeming along with my regular Brazilian wax and she agreed with no problem. After I was waxed, she asked me why I thought I had a free underarm wax and that I had to pay because that was a promotion for the previous month. Not once was I told that it was a monthly promotion, I was only told that on my next visit I would receive the free wax. The girl at the front was extremely rude and unprofessional to me, and although I really liked my waxer I have not returned since. Why wait until after I got it done to tell me that it wasn't going to be free? They need to work on communication and being honest instead of trying to trick clients into getting services they would never normally pay for. If you can, go to Senses that is very nearby, more affordable ($20 less), more professional, and they actually adhere to their promotions. read more

This place is horrible!!! It took my legs to go numb for a bikini wax of how long it took. Cause of course it was bandaid strip size wax, the girl would rip it without letting it fully dry and it was just torture to pluck piece by piece . The nose wax was almost dangerous she shoved the stick in too far wax wax hot and did 4 time just on one side.
