Most people on here are so mean in their reviews.:/ when my husband and I were there, the owner was super sweet and friendly. Yes, he does talk a lot but I think he's just alone for a long time in there. He wanted to talk about our interests so he can find what we are looking for. We came here to see what we can find and my husband found really cool comics and an action figure for a really great deal. It is a Vintage store, so you can find a lot of things here that might interest you. The prices to things can vary on what you are looking for. Will go back again! Thank you! read more

Cmon guys. $4-$8+ for 45's? I would have happily spent $50 today but not at the prices you are charging.

I just wanted to look around as I like movies, comic book, music, etc but the dude behind the counter kept demanding to know what I was looking for "IN PARTICULAR!!" He basically screamed at me through the store because I was trying to exit the store. I told him I was just looking around multiple times as he kept aggressively repeating himself. Then when I opened the door to finally leave, he was clearly offended that I didn't buy anything and shouted "shop at Walmart if you want new crap" (he used expletives so I cleaned it up for this review). read more

I was in Myrtle Beach on vacation and stopped by Mike's stand. He started chatting with me, seemed nice. He told me that he checks all the records before selling them and I believed him. I chose a Prince album that was about $10 too much ($30 when it should have been $19.99, har har). Mike seemed like a cool dude, I decided to give him my business and bought the album. When I got to my car, I looked it over. Scratches on both sides but it looked like it would still play. I wouldn't be able to play the album until I got back home. When I finally got home, I tried to play the album and that's when I realized the record was warped. It's only noticeable when you lay the record down flat on the turntable. I was completely unable to play it. I contacted Mike about the issue and all I got was an accusation that I must have left the record in a hot car because Mike checks all his records etc etc. I had purchased 3 other records from other locations and they were all packed together in an air conditioned car. I record I bought from Mike was the only one that was warped. He told me that I should have noticed it was warped when I bought it but, as I mentioned, you only notice it when you actually lay it down on a turntable. So I'm out $30 with nothing to show for it. Got turned onto this place when we went to his flea market location. Wasn't disappointed with his selection of almost everything but didn't have anything I wanted to buy. I went for comics. Needs a little more organization with the comics but wide and varied selection. read more

This place had a very large variety of collectibles of all different ages, genres, and styles. Literally anything I threw his way he pulled out something for me to look at. His comic collection was huge and well organized. I haven't purchased a comic in over 20 years and I walked out with 5 new ones. read more

The most ridiculously overpriced stuff you can imagine. Even for here in the tourist trap of myrtle beach it takes the cake. I know my stuff and what things should cost as I've been buying and selling vinyl for years now, literally everything here is at least double the amount it should be at any other store. For quality vinyl at non-rip off prices try Beach's Music and Memories or maybe even Kilgor Trouts or Azio Music. Avoid this store unless you wanna have a laugh at just how insane the prices are, literally 20 bucks for vinyl you'll find all day long in the 2 to 3 dollar bins. The owner is super aggressive and pushy that just would not shut up about himself and how much he doesn't like what he calls 'vinyl collectors' and would prefer to only deal with people who don't know any better. Makes sense, as no one who knows what this stuff is worth would pay any where near this much. He literally told me is business model is to buy for a dollar and sell for four. That's insane... EDIT, ONE DAY LATER AFTER ORIGINAL POST: LOL so I write an unflattering review and you private message me with a threat to sue for libel, "libel remarks can bring on a very long law suit." That is truly hilarious. You prove my point about the owner being super aggressive and impolite towards people and you flat out admit to charging prices multiple times higher than what something is worth. By the way, libel is defined as "a published false statement that is damaging to a person's reputation." Not only is your store's reputation already well known around here, everything stated in my previous review is factual and can be easily proven in a court of law. Owner is overbearing and rude. Prices are EXTREMELY OVER VALUE! $100 for a Pink Floyd?? They're worth about $15 for the one in the condition I saw. Total rip off. There are better stores in the area that wrap, clean and price their records accurately- not by title or if it has an original cover. read more

So my husband, friend and I barely get in the door when the shop owner decided to look at me and tell me I needed to "take that dog out of the store", referring to my service dog who was wearing her service vest by the way. Now I understand that he could have easily thought perhaps I was just bringing in a random dog... however you would think as a business owner he would learn to be more polite and friendly in his approach towards potential customers. He could have easily asked me, "is that a service dog?" Just like I have been asked before and other places. So when he snapped at me and ordered me to remove my dog, I looked at him and said, "she is a service dog". Instead of saying anything nice to me or apologizing for rudely assuming, he whipped his head back and rolled his eyes at me. We decided to leave the store. It's also NOT wheelchair friendly whatsoever. The moment you get past the register you cannot go in the store any further. I barely had enough room to turn my wheelchair around to leave. read more

Nice selection of hard rock/metal vinyl, which is what I go for. Prices are too high though. Records are not rare so you can find them all cheaper elsewhere. Needs more vintage KISS memorabilia. read more

Big selection of used vinyl. Fair prices. Lots of other stuff - cards , comics, toys. Definitely worth checking out! One comment - It was a hot a day in aug and at noon it was stifling hot inside. read more
