The environment is warm, inviting, energetic, and inspiring, with an atmosphere that encourages both discipline and creativity. My son even gets to be a junior choreographer. They highlight all their dancers and not just keep a spotlight on one. The owners are also very involved and want the best for their dancers, not only performance wise, but also in school and psychosocially. The high-quality training makes this studio a standout for anyone looking to excel in dance while also feeling at home and most importantly, be themselves. We were warmly greeted at the door, bought two small glasses of wine for a donation and mingled in the foyer with Zaquia, who also doubles as a yoga teacher at Sculpt Fusion Yoga where I teach. We chatted up some new friends and met some friendly Visionary staff. The performance space is intimate - with chairs set out no larger than six across and only a few rows deep, with the back rows on risers. Performers entered through a curtain at the rear and well-timed lighting in a variety of colors illuminated the performance. The show itself was a modern dance exploration of identity, relationships, connections and misconnections with music that echoed a past Americana that perhaps only existed in our imaginations. I found it visceral, poignant and heartfelt. Chun P. is not really the modern dance type - but he enjoyed it and we're both planning on coming back to Visionary for another show!

I walked past this store front in Grossmont Center and immediately registered him as soon as I got home. The price for the four-day camp is very reasonable, considering the cost of regular childcare and that the kids are there from 9AM-4PM. My son always ended the day enthusiastic about what he had learned, and excited to come back the next day. The showcase they put on at the end of the week for family and friends is impressive, especially since they only have a short period of time to teach both songs and choreography. My son's solo brought proud tears to my eyes! He said he can't wait to come back for the next one in the spring.

This place is cash or check only so be prepared for that! I came and took an adult beginning ballet class and it was fine. I think it is slightly expensive and the member fee is high. I paid for a membership with Malashock and was under the impression that it covered all 3 resident companies at San Diego Dance Place. However, the Malashock membership apparently does not crossover to San Diego School of Ballet. I will probably come again after I try other different ballet studios in the area.

We found Bunny's through word of mouth and have been coming here for a few months. My daughter is…read morethree and loves to come to the preschool class. It's an hour long class of ballet and tap taught by Miss Bunny. Miss Bunny herself is very good and patient with the girls and really gets them involved in dance by doing age-appropriate activities. We pay $45 for four weeks of lessons which is pretty reasonable. She also doesn't have a requirement as far as what the dancers have to wear so they can be as creative as they want, even wearing Disney princess dresses! The only reason I gave four stars is because the studio is small and can use some updating but it doesn't get in the way of the dancing and fun. :-)
