I was extremely upset my husband couldn't be with me for a scary appointment to see if a mole on top of my head was cancer. Everyone in the office was extremely nice which I really found to be relaxing..so I thank them for that. They do have a very bad problem of communication with their phones. They don't like to answer them..always says they are not available..ever...! They don't get back to you. Best thing is to walk in for any questions. We had already given all our insurance info before hand so that would be ready. When I got the information to fill out over the Internet to send back to them, they had my husbands birthdate wrong for his insurance ( that covered me ) . I fixed it and let them know..they said it was no big deal! UM..yes it is..that's how the insurance people connect things to say it's us. So let's get down to why not a 5 star! All I went in for was the mole on top of my head. Simple task..I thought! He looked at it and said he wanted to send it to the lab....scary but yep..ok. He explained what he was going to do but I couldn't of course see anything, within what seemed like 5 seconds he was done. Actually the gal that was in their was going to do it but it seemed like she didn't move fast enough for him..? Or she was new and unsure she knew what to do..so he very quickly took over, and she seemed relieved. He dug it out and poof done. Ok..we were done-- I thought. He asked if I had any other concerns . I thought for a bit and thought of..one..figured I'm here might as well show him one on my upper stomach..small black circle, since he asked and I would figure it would be free to look at. He looked and said..it's nothing it's good. Ok..all done..I'm ready to get out of there...and he says..I see you like the sun. Um..- I'm old..I like outdoor living and yep..love my sun and I'm not worried about it. He grabbed my arm ( wearing a short sleeve shirt! ) and saw 2 darker..not real dark but spots on my arm. He got this spray can of ??? And said this might sting a bit..and sprayed them.. then more..spray- & spray..on other arm 2 s spots..so quickly , I had no idea what he was doing. So I finally raised my Voice a bit and said..what are you doing??? He then explained..THEN people...! Explained what the can was and what it did. I did NOT approve or ask for this at all. Im sure some of you are reading this saying " why didn't I get out of there? Or smack him lol." Well because that's my weakest link! And why I like someone with me at appointments. Then I thought -- well this must be included in the appointment since it took him just seconds to pop that off my head. so after he got done trying to find spots... I said what about this one on my face. He looked at me like I was crazy and asked..." you want ME to spray that? Ok..I'm thinking,,,wait a minute..you ARE a Doctor? This folks was the size of a quarter..age spot and he then went to spray it pointing it sideways right towards my eyes instead of spraying away from my face and I said wait..I don't want it in my eye..so I quickly covered my eyes..! Crazy people! is he for real. Yes he is a nice ..very quick acting person, I will say that. We get taken advantage of in our older age and this is perfect example. My spots I had were NO concern to me at all, they were not even that bad ( just the one on face was..ya might as well get the worse one! why your trying to hard to find spots ) I told my husband he better not charge us for his enjoyment of his spray can! Well folks $460 was sent to our insurance just for his Funtime spray can for 15+ spots It said - which is why all of us have to pay so much for our insurance because of these type of doctors . IT was NOT even close to 15.. I see 8 spots he hit me with..all with in..seconds! So now we get to pay over $100 out of our pocket for something I didn't even want done.. Do you see anything wrong with this picture yet? Of course the digging out of my head was more money..and should have been the only charge..except lab also. Lesson learned..never go to appt again without backup. Ask if they have time for you as a person not just see dollar signs! Good luck to you

I called several times for them to correct their mistake. I sent them the documents from my insurance explaining their mistake. I contacted my insurance who said they reached out to English Dermatology, with no response. I continued to get billed. My last request was to talk to a manager, which resulted in them turning me over to collections. I got screwed out of $700 for a five minute office visit. Total incompetency.
