This review is the for the process when inquiring about the schedule: heard about this place from an acquaintance at a party, There is NO schedule on the website (which make zero sense). I sent an inquiry as to how to get a copy of the schedule and then the harassment started. FOUR DIFFERENT text threads from different people basically pressuring me to commit to a date and time when all I wanted was to view the schedule so I could attend a class when I got back from traveling. WHY would you just not have the schedule on the website? I would literally answer one text thread letting them know I'd be in touch when I got back and then I'd get a text AGAIN asking when I'd be signing up. This went on for days. I finally had to answer rudely to get them to stop. I'm sure it's a fine studio, but this is LA. With so many competitors and so many dance studios (this is LA after all), you'd think they would post a schedule online like everyone else and trust you to be an adult and take a class when you are able to. Unfortunately, the experience left a bad taste in my mouth and me and my friends found another awesome dance studio where the schedule is posted online. I hope they rethink their method because harassing someone to take a class in four different text threads after being told you will get back to them is not an effective way to attract new customers in a competitive and saturated market like LA. read more

I was looking to have my daughter sign up on something , I knew it was dancing just didn't know what kind when I came across Stephanie IG page. It caught my attention right away and let me just say I'm glad it did because my daughter loved it. Love how they are family oriented the teachers are AMAZING and very sweet. Where do I even begin! Being apart of this studio you really do become family. Stephanie is so patient and motivating with kids and adults. It takes a special type of person to engage a whole room and she does it effortlessly! My daughters love her class and being apart of the salsa kids. They have learned so much from merengue, bachata to playing fun games like freeze dance & musical chairs. On top of that they always get a great workout in every class. They have grown so much in their self confidence and are excited to go to class every week. As a busy mom of 2 I also have been able to enjoy working out on M & W salsa fit via zoom! Took my first class with Stephanie tonight and it was absolutely incredible! You can immediately sense Stephanie's love for dance, and she is extremely kind and welcoming. She breaks down the moves very well, and makes sure that everyone in class feels welcome and comfortable. It was my first salsa class ever and she did not disappoint. I had been looking for a dance studio in LA for almost 6 years when I moved here. I have gone to several others before I found Stephanies studio. I wish I had found her 6 years ago. I can't say enough about her studio but will give you the highlights. First of all Stephanie is extremely professional but the sweetest, down to earth, kindest most caring instructor you will ever find. It's very important to her that anyone who walks through her doors is treated with kindness, respect and feels comfortable and safe. As far as skill level goes you can't find what she has anywhere else In LA. She is considered the queen of salsa in the dance community in LA and she deserves that title. As far as an instructor she breaks down the steps and explains it in a way that is simple to understand and she wants you to succeed and meet your goals. Your success is the most important thing. I visited Latin Dance Studio on Sunday 06/30/19, Stephanie started her class 17 minutes late. Other parents informed me that tuition was $100.00 X month, then, her assistant said it is $120.00 X month effective July 1, I questioned the late start and the difference of price just for me, and she said she would speak to Stephanie's husband because he is in charge. The assistant called me today July 3th and stated that Stephanie starts late to ensure that all students benefit from the warm up, I said, but if I am paying full price I want to get full class, the husband declared that Stephanie will remain being late making the class short for the ones who get there on time but the price will be charge in full. Don't get me wrong, Stephanie can dance, but her husband is a little bit money hungry and most likely he will prevent Stephanie's business as successful as it could be. I would recommend parents who need to find a dance studio for their children to shop around, before you sign your child with Stephanie, there are so many studios with professional dancers, who are also honest with better prices. This is just my humble opinion in regards to my visit to Stephanie's studio. read more
