She is friendly, as is her staff, but Dr. Leof has the atmosphere of visiting a sister for care. She takes her time to examine your mouth thoroughly. I've had some major dental problems over the years she took care of each one. I can't say enough good things about her as I know that I have the best dental care available. UPDATE: Dr. Jessica Dean reached out to me after she became aware of the issue, and it appears that…read morethere was a miscommunication compounded by the fact that we are "in flight" between our old dentist and Dean. There are procedures in place for handling after-hours patient issues, and they were able to get my son scheduled for an emergency appointment to evaluate his toothache. As a result, my rating has been adjusted. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Transferred a family of 4 to Dean Dental on the recommendation of other patients. Unfortunately, these folks do not appear to be patient-focused. Their procedure for dental emergencies is "go to urgent care," and when my 16 year old son had persistent tooth pain in July, they told me they couldn't see him before the end of August, and that I was free to find another dentist for emergency care. They don't appear to check messages when the office is closed. They don't appear to do traditional emergency appointments during normal business hours. Both of these things are common with independent dental practices, or at least the ones who are patient-focused and demonstrate a good work ethic. The staff and practitioners may be "nice," but that doesn't matter if they're not there when you need them.

I felt comfortable and safe the entire time. It was a very comfortable experience. The only suggestion that I have is that the woman that check me out was a tad grumpy. I couldn't get her to smile for the life of me. She was not unpleasant, she was just distant. All the other people were so nice, that when I got to her, it was kind of uncomfortable. Besides that, I would absolutely recommend 100% Steliotes Dental!

My wife and I get our teeth cleaned once a year while visiting her family in Irwin. At our last visit, Dr. Aiello discovered a new cavity that needed filled. Knowing that I was only in town for a short while, Dr. Aiello cleared room for me right away to have the cavity filled. The process was quick, efficient and a surprisingly pleasant experience!

I had to sit up to make sure I did not choke on the drill bit. The lady apologized and claimed that she had never had to tighten her tools before. They have left glue on my teeth from old brackets, cut up my cheeks from the wires, and cut my gums. The orthodontist always talked to me in a baby voice and hardly ever actually checked my teeth. They also continuously lie about what needs done on your teeth, constantly finding new problems that weren't there before just to keep your braces on "just a few more weeks." All the 5 star reviews are from bribing clients with a drawing for some new thing for everyone who gives them a 5 star review. I have never heard a good thing in person about their practice.
