Not once, not twice, but THREE times the implant fell out. After all of this, they refunded us only $2,795, when honestly, half of the total cost would have been the bare minimum, and even that would have been generous considering the nightmare we endured. The staff was incredibly difficult to deal with, especially the Office Manager, Lotti (not sure if that's her first or last name), who dodged my calls/texts for days. Meanwhile, we're now back living in New York while this office is located in Fort Lauderdale, forcing us to find another dentist to repair what Dr. Burak clearly failed to do properly. To make matters worse, she actually had the audacity to suggest that maybe my husband was "chewing more on one side." Seriously? What difference should that make if this is supposed to be a permanent implant? This has been an exhausting, stressful, and extremely expensive ordeal. Please don't waste your hard-earned money or valuable time. In our experience, this was truly bottom-of-the-barrel dental work and customer service.

I kept looking for signs that I needed to leave immediately and couldn't. Christine, the hygienist was the best I've ever had. My appointment took forever, not because they ran late but because they take their time with you. She takes digital photos of your teeth, showing you problem areas. They really care about you and your mouth. Even when the dentist comes in, it's not a quick visit. You're with him for another 10-15 minutes going over anything they find troubling. The coolest thing though? They have tv's on the ceiling. What a better place to have a tv, right? While they are digging in your mouth you can watch Judge Judy. And for that I love this place even more. They have a referral program that gives you $25 for every person you refer. I will never see another dentist as long as I live in this area.

She always greets you with a smile, has your paperwork ready for you, your appointments, etc. She does not miss a beat! Ashleigh is GREAT. X-rays can be very uncomfortable and painful at times. She took mine real quick and it was painless. BEST DENTIST I'VE EVER HAD!!!! Dr. Mariel Petruk. I can't say enough about Dr. Petruk. Her patient treatment is Impeccable. She makes sure you are well-informed about your treatment. She is sensible with her recommendations. The office is immaculate. The waiting room has a TV and magazines. They just added TV's in their ceiling so when you are laying down on the chair you are entertained. My cleaning went by so fast! I've been coming here for 2 years now and every time I have an appointment they have been on time, they never over schedule so there are never tons of people in the waiting area. They changed owners…read more It used to be simple. $50 for a cleaning. Now they "diagnose" you and say that they will only perform a deep cleaning. Without insurance it was coming out to $1000. I've sent so many people to city dental. Everyone always thanked me for a referral. The reason why we were so loyal was because the owner was reasonable. Now it just feels like a shiesty operation. Good luck to the new owners. Update: i got my deep cleaning done for $185 at another practice. Saved $800 by going to a reputable dentist that has been practicing for 30 years.

My decades of having chompers have been fraught with stress and drama. I'm unfortunate to have inherited my mother's dental problems, and along with it multiple cavities, root canals, and other forms of medieval torture. This had led to an all too common dread whenever dental visits came due, even for routine care. This has now changed thanks to Dr. Perez and his wonderful team. My dental hygienist Gloria has the hands of an angel and the most delicate touch ever. My anxiety the first visit could be felt a mile away. I dare say I felt almost relaxed my most recent visit. I had a crown done with my last dentist (and a root canal with her referred endodontist). This led to months upon months of pain far worse than the pain I had before the root canal. I had to go to a different local dentist to fix the problem, but it took months to get an appointment. Expectedly last month I had dread when I was told I needed another crown. I wasn't in pain, but my previous dentist had done such a deep filling that I knew the tooth wasn't going to last forever. They advised a crown before the tooth cracks unexpectedly. I just had it finished yesterday and my mouth feels 100% normal. Dr. Perez was extraordinarily patient making sure to get the fit and bite just right. And she refused to identify herself, her title. Through Google search we found out she is merely a Dental Hygienist diagnosing, pretending to be a Doctor while he is on vacation. Didn't even let us know when we made the appointment that there would be no REAL Dentist on the premises. She glued on the old crown temporarily, crooked and uncomfortable. And it fell off before my Mom could get to a next appointment. Just appalling! Luckily we found a great new dentist quickly. A REAL Doctor who sees the REAL needs of a 95 year old patient, instead of the almighty $$. What Dr Piedras Hygienist did is elder abuse and just really, really lousy work. Don't go to this place. If he goes on vacation and leaves such dishonest and unprofessional people in charge, it's probably a reflection of how he runs the whole place. If I could give them a ZERO, I would. Above all, it saddens me that they have absolutely NO RESPECT for the elderly, and thought they could pull a fast one on my Mom.
