Cool hues, relaxing seating and a generous beverage/snack bar. I was ushered in and went through the standard Covid protocols before being led back to see my "new to me" dental hygienist. Let me just rave about Christine... she's not only gentle and professional, but she's charming and personable as well! A winning combo to set even the most trepidatious patient at ease. She offered their extensive comfort menu, I declined as I weirdly love going to the dentist and getting my teeth cleaned!! I actually look forward to it! Christine was awesome and we spoke like we were fast friends. I "crown" her Queen Hygienist! I had a small pinpoint cavity which needed to be filled and Dr. Wheeler graciously fit in to her busy schedule. Although I had to wait a bit (my choice), I didn't mind because it saved me from making a second trip. So convenient as I didn't want to make another appointment during to Covid. Dr. Wheeler hummed as she quickly filled my cavity and the only uncomfortable part of the process was the rubber dam they use for safety protocol. After watching the kids grow up going to Dr Neal, I finally took my own turn in the seat and it was a night and day difference for me compared to what I had experienced when I was younger. The staff began calling as many surgeons in the area as they could in order to find one in my network and get a benefits verification for me beforehand. This is without me even asking!! They could sense my hesitation and jumped on it. Meanwhile, the dentist massaged my jaw for a good 10 minutes. She called one of her colleagues who's an oral surgeon and got his opinion and i was able to avoid surgery all together thanks to his diagnosis and my dentist's thorough massage. I am so used to begging for care and having to navigate medical situations without assistance. But here, it felt like all hands on were deck to get me care & coverage, and I didn't have to ask for anything. I cannot recommend them enough. This is how healthcare should be.
