I highly recommend avoiding this practice if you want any professionalism or bed side manners from…read moreyour dentist or receptionist. I was very excited to bring my child back after her first appointment, because the environment seemed clean, nice, and fun with great receptionists. However after five minutes in the back with the dentist I was told repeatedly that it was my fault that her teeth were deteriorating because I breastfed so long and he had advised against it at the last visit. Once is okay, 4 times of being told It's my fault is unprofessional and unacceptable. After asking for a new doctor because I didn't like Dr.Musselwhites attitude, and telling him that, I was told I couldn't see the other dentist because I had "burned the bridge" and they could only give me referrals to other practices. I then left and called to ask for his name saying that I would leave the receptionists out of the nasty review I was going to make because they had done nothing wrong at the time. They told me "his name was hard to spell and they would have to check on the spelling for me" then hung up after putting me on hold. Unfortunately for them, since they were trying to avoid giving me his name, I hadn't left the office parking lot. So I walked back inside, took a picture of the sign and walked in to confirm which of the two I had seen. They looked like they had seen a ghost when I asked if musselwhite (which is not hard to spell) was correct. They smiled awkwardly, said yes and I walked out. After I made it VERY clear that they couldn't stop this review I'm making, they called to ask me to "come in and talk it out". ABSOLUTELY NOT. You mistreated me professionally in the back, didn't help my daughter's teeth or situation at all, lied to me to avoid a review and now you want to fix it ? If you want your child to be safe and comfortable and be treated well yourself this is NEVER going to be the place you should go. Please avoid like the plague.

When you call to pay your bill, good luck--nobody knows what you owe, where to find the information, or how to help you. It's like they've never used a computer before, despite having one right in front of them. Dr. Oley has lied to me three separate times about what procedures he was going to do. Instead of a simple phone call to clarify anything, I'm forced to miss work and make another appointment just to get a straight answer. And don't expect anyone to call you when your nightguard is ready--you'll have to chase them down week after week because apparently, following up is too much to ask. No one in this office gives a damn about their patients. They only care about squeezing as much money out of you as possible while wasting your time. It's unprofessional, disorganized, and completely unacceptable. I'll be reporting this office to the Better Business Bureau. Enough is enough. Save yourself the stress and go literally anywhere else.

Dr Davia is one of the best dentists out there. I've visited probably 4 other dentists prior to…read morehim, I've had a lot of dental work done prior to going here, and the experience I had was the best. I unfortunately had to move out-of-state, and he tried his best to help with my tooth problems before I had to move. He's knowledgeable, caring, and patient. He always tried to be conservative with the work he did on my teeth, focusing on the most important areas and didn't push expensive treatments on me that weren't 100% necessary. A lot of dentists I went to would 1.) look at my teeth and then decide on a plethora of things to do to them, without consulting me - and b) forget about the issues I had and/or not address them fully. Dr Davia always listened to my concerns and kept it simple, unless it was clear a more complex procedure was definitely needed. I wish I could give a bonus star for how painless the injections were (lots of dentists seem to rush this part and it causes a lot of pain and anxiety for me). Also the dental hygienist I saw, Kathleen, was so sweet and careful with my teeth. She was great at making me feel comfortable during my cleanings & always made me feel special.

He eased any worries I had about my teeth and let me know the next steps he wanted to do in my next appointment. I didn't feel like he was rushing with me . He was very genuine and kind. I was honestly very impressed with my service. The office isn't as fancy as your newer facilities or dental spa's. You can depend on the staff at Dr. Davia. He will not try to nickel and dime you for treatments or services.

Here with another update. My son had to have some fillings done and unfortunately reacted poorly to…read morethe in office liquid sedation. Dr. Braxton was able to do 2 fillings and then had to stop the procedure and recommended we finish the rest at the hospital under general anesthesia. As you can imagine, my anxiety was through the roof thinking about this. They got me my total and said it was due before the procedure in 2 months. So, the day came when we brought my 3 year old to St. Mary's for the fillings. Dr. Braxton was about 5 hours late. We were told to be there at 8am, and they did not start on Jalen until after 1. He couldn't eat the entire time. I was worried about him getting hungry or restless and I hadn't accounted for having to pump for my infant, so this significant delay really had a negative impact on our experience. We never got any updates from her. I went up to the secretary of the surgical area and all she told me was that "Dr. Braxton was behind". No approximate timing or anything. When the time came to take him back, they did a good job of making sure we were comfortable and checking him over. Dr. Braxton came in briefly beforehand to talk to us, and then off he went. Here's why I'm taking off 2 stars. After Jalen came out of anesthesia, he had a horrible, croupy cough. The nurses took care of him and gave him a treatment, but we were still sent home after one nurse mentioned "oh yeah, he was a little congested going into surgery". We ended up at the ER the very next night because of his cough and breathing. Turns out he had a bad case of croup. I want to know... 1) Why wasn't this detected before surgery? 2) If the nurse noticed he was congested, why did Dr. Braxton follow through with it? 3) Why didn't we receive updates while waiting that insane amount of time before surgery? I just have so many questions. And, a lot of this probably wasn't Toothbeary's fault, but some of it I feel like they could have handled better, like the communication and timing. Although pediatric dentists have nice touches for kids, I think I may just start bringing him to our regular practice to make life a bit easier after this mixed bag of an experience.
